We were here visiting family and the spot was perfect. It was easily accessible for a family member on a walker and was a great location downtown. The only thing it could have used was a couple more bed pillows, other than that it was perfect!

Highly recommend staying here. It’s right in downtown, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The place was clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. I would definitely stay here again.

Close to everything in Bar Harbor, we walked to dinner each night. Spacious and comfortable overall. Highly recommended if you want privacy that hotels don’t offer.

Great apartment with parking. Comfy beds, nice equipped kitchen. Supermarket just down the street. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Called the owner to let us know we arrived. He never called back

This rental has an absolutely awesome location. Within EASY walking distance to most everything in Bar Harbor - and it’s an extremely quiet location. It was VERY clean. The parking for 2 cars was GREAT - an easy place to park in Bar Harbor is WONDERFUL. We mostly ate out so I can’t comment much on the kitchen. Our biggest complaint was literally the worst mattress we’ve ever slept on. It was HARD - not extra firm - but HARD. About as soft as sleeping on a carpeted floor. My back was sore from sleeping on it. As an owner of a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ VRBO property NEAR Yellowstone, I would recommend the owner get a sleep number mattress for the queen bed. (We have 7 in our VRBO and customers love them and we’ve never had an issue.) The other big issue for us was light control. The owner has good cellular shades installed on all the windows that open from the top and bottom, which is great for privacy but not for blocking unwanted light from the neighbors at night or early morning light. My wife was awakened at 5am from lights being turned on in a neighbor’s place. At least in the bedrooms there should be curtains, blackout cellular shades, or something that allow you to block unwanted light. The Internet was slow - shows on TV pause every minute or two to buffer - not a big deal for us. If the issues I’ve highlighted aren’t important to you then you’ll love this place. As for us, we won’t return here on our next trip to Bar Harbor simply because of the bed. We dreaded going to bed.

The check-in process was very easy, house was in great condition, and we will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Great location! Walking distance to all that is Bar Harbor.
The odor of musty books was pronounced.
Kitchen very well equipped, but not able to grill, because the grill was very dirty.

Wonderful location walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. Very clean and has what you would need in the kitchen to cook if you choose to, we chose to eat lots of lobster at the local restaurants.TV streaming would be our only negative, we watched more buffering than any actual show at night. Also a short drive to Acadia Nation Park. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is centrally located to so many restaurants, shops, and of course the Sandbar. This cozy condo made our vacation a memorable one. Enjoyed the beauty of nearby Cadillac Mountain, and the Summit with unbelievable views! (We gave 4 stars for accuracy only because the listing has 11am as checkout time, but the instructions inside condo lists 10am as checkout) We highly recommend this property to anyone who is planning a Bar Harbor vacation!

Great property and great location.

Can't beat the location.
And the place was just as advertised.
Owners were very responsive. (We had one issue, and Tom not only responded promptly, he indulged us with a piano tune after we requested.)
The beds are a little odd. (Very low to the ground.) But we had a great stay and would go back.

The house was in the perfect location - just a few minute walk from all the shopping and dining and right off the turn to get on Park Loop Road. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. The parking spot is very convenient!
Our only complaint were with the mattresses. They are quite thin and hard. Otherwise, the house was perfect and I would definitely rent it again!

My fiance and I brought my parents to Bar Harbor for my father's birthday and this was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do in town and Acadia National Park. Property is clean, convenient, and comfortable. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

This place is AMAZING. The location cannot be beat. You are one block away from the water and where the bar is (the kids walked down every day to explore the tidal pools). You can walk to everything in Bar Harbor - you do not need your car in town (which is great because parking is hard). You can even walk to the grocery store which is two hours away.
The place is clean and comfortable. Very spacious. We were two adults, a 7 year old, and a 10 year old. It was perfect. Kitchen was well equipped. The house was super cute and in a really quiet location.
Tom and his brother couldn't have been more great. They made checking in and checking out so easy. We didn't have any questions while there, but they made sure we knew we could reach out if we did.
We definitely hope to come back to Bar Harbor and definitely plan to stay here again!

We had a great time for our ladies weekend. We could walk anywhere in Bar Harbor with ease, and driving into Acadia was a cinch. The pictures don’t do the location justice. It’s lovely!!

We were so happy we booked this house. Very clean, great condition with comfy beds. We stayed during a warm streak and appreciated a/c window units at night. Walked to grocery store and downtown Bar Harbor.

The unit was in an ideal location. It was walking distance from town yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The unit was very clean and bright. We highly recommend it.

Tom was very communicative. Allowed for late checkout. Bed was not comfortable. For how much we paid I didn’t expect to have to clean up everything including dishes and towels and sheets. Had everything we needed though.

Absolutely perfect location in Bar Harbor - walk to Bar Island, easy walk to shops and restaurants, and quick access to Acadia. The rental is super clean, organized, and well-furnished. The owners were exceedingly communicative and friendly. Given how spotless the rental is, a $250 cleaning fee seems a tad steep for a quick overnight…but likely a sign of the times. Highly recommend!

The property was amazing more than the online pictures show. We did not have a problem with the beds but they are firm. The main issue was poor wifi/cell signal for Verizon. We had difficulty reaching owner about questions as email/texts did not go through. It rained for parts of day everyday but still ton to do. I can only imagine how much more we could have done without the rain. Perfect location.

We had a wonderful time in Bar Harbor. The house is within walking distance to everything. The house has a lovely small yard with deck that was perfect for your morning coffee or cocktail in the evening. We would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. It’s located in a perfect spot to access all that Bar Harbor has to offer, and was a perfect fit for our family of 4. I especially appreciated that I could book it for just 2 nights instead of requiring a longer stay. What a nice change from a cramped hotel room for this portion of our New England trip!

The location is good! Now for the negative..
There is no air conditioning, and NO ceiling FANS. There are no screens in either bedroom windows. So, no air circulation. So to get some air I had to sleep on the couch. The other reason I slept on the couch is all the beds were like laying on a box. Not firm, HARD. Only uncomfortable mattresses with NO toppers. The internet and cable DO NOT WORK. The tv is small and old.
The day I arrived I started feeling I’ll. I immediately contacted the host to inform him. As the day went on I knew I was sick and asked kindly if I could have a refund for the following night because I felt I could have Covid. I had to leave the following morning and head to the VA hospital where in fact I did test positive for Covid. Before I left the apartment I informed the host I would open the three screened windows to air out the property. I also wiped things down, washed the towels and striped the bed out of an abundance of caution. I really think under the circumstance it would have been a human kindness to give me a discount. There was virtually very little cleaning left to be done. I checked out on time and only stayed one night. $1,294.00 is very unfair for one night!!

The property was excellent in every way. Beautiful VRBO property and home, great walking location to everything. Quite and safe. Hanafords a block away. Super clean and with modern appliances. I would give it the highest rating and recommendation.

Like others have mentioned, this property is more spacious and open than it looks in the photos. It was very quiet, but the proximity to town is fantastic -- primo location, and the library of art books gave it interest and character. We could've happily spent all week here if time had allowed!

This property was the perfect spot for friends to share, super close to downtown and convenient to all of our birding adventures!

We had a wondeful time during memorial weekend at this property! The location is great with walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor, restaurants and grocery store. It is steps away from the bar island trail where it is also a good spot for sunset with less people. The house is bigger than the photos show, and all the furnitures are arranged in a very convenient and comfortable way. we love the decorations and the huge selection of books. My son played the piano and also read quite a few books about art. Tom/Chris responded very quickly to our questions about the house and Acadia park.

The property was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent—easy access to downtown but still removed enough from foot traffic & nightlife to be quiet and relaxing.
Only small complaint: wi-fi was poor and could not watch streaming channels. But overall we were fully satisfied with our stay.

Excellent location! Great to be able to walk to restaurants, shops, sights, and grocery store. Property spotless! Property manager Tom answered all questions promptly and gave great recommendations. Would highly recommend.

This was the absolute BEST spot to stay if you want to be near all the action but a little off the Main Street. Easily walk to any shop or restaurant, quiet and only a few minute walk from Sandbar beach. It’s also a very quick drive to the park. The rooms are a good size and the apartment is much larger than the pictures show. So clean and so cute! The only downside was the mattresses. Normally not worth bringing up but I think they may have been some of the hardest mattresses I’ve ever slept on in an Airbnb, I’d probably recommend a better investment for the owners and mention it for people who may have back issues. But if you’re like us and you pass out at the end of the night from all the activities, it may not be a problem for two or three nights.
Either way, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here!

While I understand that people renting out their property do need to make money, emergencies happen that are beyond our control. Our entire family got sick with Covid after the date had already passed to request any type of refund and somehow our Covid insurance was cancelled.
We begged and pleaded for any type of flexibility in rescheduling and were completely ignored by the property owner.
Bar Harbor rentals in summer are already very expensive and we were just looking for a smidge of compassion. We would have taken anything! I guess that’s just not happening with a businessman without a heart- especially when he could of still easily rented that apartment out.
Will never ever give my money to this person again.
(Note: could not submit review without checking all stars so please disregard those).

We really enjoyed staying here during our visit to Bar Harbor. The house was cozy and welcoming and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We were able to walk into the town of Bar Harbor or drive a few miles to Acadia Park. The owner, Tom was available for help or questions.
