One of the loveliest apartments we’ve stayed in — beautifully presented, comfortable and in a wonderful setting. We did have a few issues with the air conditioning, hot water and Wi-Fi, but the owner was very kind and responsive and made sure everything was put right. A special thank you to Christian, who was the perfect host and couldn’t have been more helpful. We would 100% recommend Villa Caruso and would happily stay again

The villa has a beautiful hilltop view of Forio below and the beaches. There are multiple restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Christian was on site to welcome us and answer any questions we had about the villa or the island along with arranging a rental car for us to explore. Highly recommend!

The property was spotlessly clean, peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views over the bay. The optional €15 breakfast was excellent and absolutely worth it. Everything was freshly prepared and brought to the table while we sat overlooking the bay, with a wonderful variety and very generous portions. The staff were brilliant throughout, but a special mention has to go to Christian, who was genuinely exceptional. I regularly stay in four- and five-star hotels through work, and he really stood out. His service was incredibly attentive, but what made it memorable was how natural and personable it felt. He took the time to talk with us, laugh and joke with us and made us feel completely at home, while always remaining professional and never intrusive. He seemed to know when we might need something before we even had to ask, yet never hovered. That balance is incredibly rare, and he is a real asset to the team. A mention also has to go to Gianna. Although we never met her in person, she was always quick to respond on WhatsApp, polite and helpful, and happily arranged things for us whenever we needed them. Our taxis to and from the port were organised for us, which meant we didn’t have to think about arranging transport ourselves. Housekeeping was excellent too. Despite us coming and going at different times each day, the room always seemed to be refreshed without us ever noticing, which made the whole stay feel effortless. I rarely write reviews, but Villa Caruso genuinely deserved one. It was one of those stays where the people made an already beautiful place feel even more special, and we would happily return.

As other reviews have mentioned, there is a bit of a hill up to the property, which I could see being a problem for some guests. We managed it without any real issue though, and for us it was a small trade-off for the beautiful views, peace and quiet.
