Place was super clean! Even smelled clean when we walked in. Getting the key was a little different, but easy to manage. Host was quick with responses and very helpful.

The unit was very clean and was such that one was easily able to keep it clean throughout the stay. It was also a great location to observe launches from Kennedy Space. Enter. We observed two launches from the sixth floor of the condo.

The condo was dirty and not well stocked with pots/pans and utensils. Refrigerator was dirty. Having only 2 keys was difficult since everything was locked and required a key for use. Would not recommend or stay again.

1. The check in process - having to pick up keys then return to an offer-site location to place a set of keys back in the box - is cumbersome. It also requires you to have but one set of keys, something my wife complained about loudly.
2. Upon arrival, the elevators were out of service, requiring us to move in by carting all of our belongings up 4 flights of stairs.
3. The ad I observed on VRBO depicted a dog park and pickle ball courts - neither of which are available at the property.
4. Construction crews were at the property from early in the morning during our entire stay. This meant a continuous cacophony of air compressors and pressure spraying. Additionally, you would be in the apartment alone, only to look up and find a workman on your balcony either pressure washing or painting, their arrival unannounced.
The apartment itself was fine. The location was fine. However, due to this continuous string of inconvenience, our experience with the property was only "Fair".

The place was fully equipped with everything you need. Just bring your clothes and toiletries. Right at the beach and pool. This was an amazing vacation. Pictures looked exactly like the rooms. A very nice place to stay.

Even though it was inconvenient and kind of sketchy (neighborhood) to drive off site to retrieve the key for the unit ... and then take it immediately back after gaining entry to the unit; I'm not penalizing the property for that in the star rating. The reason this unit gets 2 stars is because it was hot in the unit, with no ability to cool it off. The thermostat is literally locked into a scenario that restricts the guest(s) to live at 72, 73, or 74 degrees. We needed to have the ability to lower to 69 or 68 to keep the unit comfortable. During the day, we pulled all of the blinds closed in an (futile) attempt to lower the temperature which did away with the beachfront view that we paid for. When we emailed the owner (he doesn’t communicate via phone), it took him two days to get back to us only to tell us that our options were 72 - 74 degrees. On a positive note, you can easily and quickly access the beach, and there are bathrooms on the ground level that you can access with your key. Also, you are within 1.5 miles of basically anything you could need on vacation: restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores (Publix), etc... All of these places are along N. Atlantic Ave. If you do venture out to buy groceries or get gas, finding your way back to the unit is simple. All you have to do is turn off of N. Atlantic when you see Lido Caberet a Gentlemen's Club (Cleveland Ave) and it’s pretty much a straight shot back to the unit. Anyway - if the temp range on the HVAC went from 68 - 74, I would definitely give it a 3.5 star rating ... if half stars were an option.

Perfect vacation spot. We have stayed in many vacation homes and this one topped it. The condo is well stocked with everyday items, clean and comfortable. We will definitely return. Thank you.

Property is Gold, Service is Tarnished
The condo is really very nice. However, the trip was ruined for me by the owner and the convoluted and unsafe check-in procedures. Here is the list of the gold & the tarnish.

Oceanfront
Property appears to be mostly occupied by residents so there is not a lot of noise or a lot of people on this portion of the beach.
For those who prefer the pool over the ocean, there is a nice size available...not crowded because the beach is steps away.
The housekeeper came late but is very nice and did a great job.
Nicely decorated.

Blackout curtains.
Beach accessories available.
Tarnish:
Check-in procedure is ridiculous. The keys are located way off premises a car trip, NOT WALKING DISTANCE in a lock box (inside another lockbox) in a desolated area which is a SAFETY ISSUE. Woe, to any vulnerable or guest traveling solo who arrives late at night. I encountered some unsavory characters while trying to locate the lockbox. I was blessed to have family nearby monitoring everything. Can you imagine traveling to the condo at night, tired then having to deal with this offsite fiasco?! Furthermore, even though we checked in hours beyond check-in time (8:00 pm), we were greeted by the housecleaner who informed us that the property had not been cleaned! She was a very nice woman, but that is beside the point. When we contacted the owner he did NOT respond immediately. When he finally called back he said he was in the clinic. I informed him that we wanted to be compensated for having to wait for the cleaning--which was not completed until 10:00 pm! The owner said he'd call back the next day, but he didn't. It was a lot of back & forth, but he finally agreed to reimburse us for the day.
Elevator-small and key operated...beware of heavy bags, no luggage carts obviously no staff to assist with luggage because again property appears to be mostly residential.
Temp is set to 72. No ceiling fans in bedrooms (boxed fans available).
Mbr bed was hard. Twin bed in second room slept well.
It is pitch black in the trash area, so throw the garbage out during the day.

Great property, great views, great location
It's not often I rent a property and think, "Wow! This is just great!" There's usually a niggle or two, or something that was left unsaid in the description that you find out on arrival!! But not this one...
We (family of 4) had a fabulous week. The property was immaculately clean, everything was in good working order and there was everything we could possibly need, easily found in a logical place. The view was stunning and the pool was great - it was cleaned thoroughly every day (we could watch from the balcony).
Another bonus is that the property has its own car parking space under the shelter, rather than out in the sun.
Cocoa Beach itself is a perfect location for some beach time and some trips out. We particularly enjoyed the Kennedy Space Centre - 30 mins' drive away.
I can thoroughly recommend this rental.

Great condo!
The condo has been updated & the furnishings r very nice. It has everything you need for a beach stay. The internet was terrible& finally after trying to contact the owner for several days, he arranged for a new provider which did not work at all including the cable on the last day. We tried to contact the owner on another matter while there & it was several days before he got back to us. He does not answer emails or phone calls in a timely manner as his contract indicates. This was very frustrating since you there for a limited time.

Condo was great!
The condon was great and had a perfect view of the ocean. The pictures online looked exactly like it did in person. The one thing I had to have with young children was a washer/dryer in the unit and this one had it! We will use this unit again.

A five star condo for sure!
We stayed a week in this beautiful condo. The condo was just like the pictures showed. The rooms were large and the furniture was the top of the line. The condo was so clean. The linens were of the best quality. The kitchen was well stocked. Dean was so good to work with. When I had questions, he was always fast to get back to me. If you use the internet, it is so fast. I highly recommend this condo. We will rent this place again next September.

Perfect beach vacation! We'll be back!!!
Oh my goodness, we loved this place! It was perfect for our family of four. It could also easily accommodate a family of six. The condo was very clean and well kept! Exactly as the pictures show! Fully stocked newly remodeled kitchen with everything you need, except groceries of course ! :) Our teenage girls stayed in the two twin bedroom, and loved having their own bathroom for the week! The master bedroom has a big comfy King size bed . We were surprised how comfortable the bed was, because sometimes you just don't know what kind of mattress you're going to get! The master bedroom had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean, as does the living room with the balcony. We also loved having a big walk in closet with a washer and dryer, and bathroom off the master bedroom! It also has a new comfortable leather couch and love seat which were extremely clean! I hate dirty furniture when I'm on vacation! This place is CLEAN! There's also a closet stocked with just about anything you need for the beach (which is great when you're flying and taking minimal luggage and items!)....sand toys, chairs, umbrella, beach blanket, pool noodles, etc. The building and grounds are very clean and secured with locks to get in and out of the pool area and in/out to the beach area. The beach is beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. Beautiful views of cruise ships, boats, parasailing, etc. The condo and beach are both very family friendly! Parking was also great because you're assigned your own spot and the parking lot is covered so the car isn't hot every time you leave! Close to the pier, shopping, restaurants, etc.
This was our best family beach vacation yet and we hope to come back for years to come!

Perfectly maintained and furnished apartment
The condo is nicely furnished and kept in very good and clean condition. It has everything needed for comfortable staying of a family with kids (or without), including all kind of a beach stuff, not to mention gorgeous ocean view. It was our first experience, and for the future getaways we will be looking for anything similar. Thanks for Dean for being such a great owner

Excellent Stay!
We have stayed at three or four other locations in the Canaveral/Cocoa Beach community and Canaveral Towers is by far the best so far. Dean, the owner, was very quick to respond- instructions were easy and the condo was in good clean condition. We stayed in unit 408- which had a great view, was well stocked and located in a secure facility. You really do need your key to get into the pool, pool bathroom and elevator. The location is perfectly situated, less than 5 minutes from a Publix and downtown/pier/port restaurants. The beach was not overcrowded and the grounds were well maintained. I really wish that we could have stayed another week! If you visit this area, please be sure to secure rental with Dean. I highly recommend this property.
In regards to activities and restaurants- we visit every year to see family, so we mostly just eat a lot. :)

Third time staying at CT, have loved it every time
This was our third time staying at Canaveral Towers in a unit owned by Dean. The entire process, from viewing the condos online to making reservations and payment has been smooth and efficient each and every time. Any questions were handled professionally and very promptly. The location of CT is wonderful. Close to the beach, but far enough from the hustle and bustle of Cocoa Beach to be more relaxing. The pool is heated and the pool as well as the grounds are all well cared for. We will definitely be staying there again in the future!

Exceeded my expectations
Absolutely perfect oceanfront beach condo. Felt like home. Directions were clear and easy to follow. The place was laid out to the nines. The owner provided very good advice on local eats and drinks. Location was perfect for all activities. I highly recommend this condo for your beach getaway.
