Good for backpackers

Not very clean and pans and pots very carbonised. Unclean kettle. Lots of room for improvement

Good location for hiking (close to the trailhead for Rōtui and not too difficult to walk the Caldera de Moorea Loop track from here). Very friendly staff and the meals they offer are well-balanced, nutritious and very delicious.

There was one indoor bathroom and two outdoor bathrooms, however the outdoor bathrooms didn’t seem to get hot water for the showers and the toilets didn’t have toilet seats, so everyone would use the one indoor bathroom. Also, the kitchen doesn’t have a microwave.

Good fan to keep you cool, excellent fresh vegan food for dinner, and good bikes available for rent onsite - highly recommended!

Fare Om was a great place to stay. The host was friendly and it's in a great location on the island. Would for sure stay again if I'm ever in the area.

Nice hostel, calm place under trees. I rented a bicycle for a half day at the hostel. Spend only a day (due to my trip plan), but I would live here for few days more.

loved the experience at Fare OM! It was a very home-y experience that was comfortable and welcoming from the second you walk in the door. Every guest was kind and Maud was very helpful with anything we needed - she was even able to get us a scooter from a company on last minute notice! The main area and bathrooms were kept very clean and I always felt very comfortable without having to lock doors or close windows. there wasn’t AC but the way the room cooled down at nice was perfect!

Amazing staff. Nice people around the table who share their travels. Loved the atmosphere! Excellent location. You can order breakfast or dinner and it is homemade with local produce : delicious and healthy!

Friendly and helpful host (that cooks well, ask her for dinner!), bed is okay but a bit short (only 2m), location okay.

The central location.

The complete lack of cleanliness in the external bathrooms, in the room, kitchen and the garden. It is absolutely not hygienic. Cockroaches on the kitchen floor, dog poo in the garden and a big mess everywhere in the house. Our room, the chalet was a little “dog house” in the garden with a dirty mattress. The photos and reviews on the profile absolutely do not match reality. We really hoped to have a nice stay here :(

The staff were very kind and friendly. It is very simple, tucked away off the main road, and very quiet. It was good value in a nice part of the island. Bed was comfortable. Cash only or bank transfer (no CC accepted).

The room was clean initially was not cleaned during my stay there. The floors in the room were not swept once during my 6 night stay and a small cleaning at least once during my stay would have been appreciated.

Friendly atmosphere, staff, and other guests. Fare Om is a great community of travellers of a wide range of ages. Definitely recommend, not just for great prices but also ideal location on the island.

Maud and Julian were the best hosts who treat you like family, they made the stay 100% better! My room was comfortable and being able to rent a bike and kayak was the best ✌️ It's a great chill atmosphere with cute dogs and a nice garden. Met some lovely people here who I'll keep in contact with 😁 I felt it hard to leave !
