Lake Gaston Dream Come True
About this house rental
Situated in Lake Gaston, this lovely house for $629 per night is a great choice for your next break. PLEASE NOTE: During the peak season (June, July, and August), we only rent for full weeks - Saturday to Saturday. The name of our house is "Dream Come True," and it has truly been a dream. Our home can make your dreams come true too! Bring your family and friends for a relaxing vacation on Lake Gaston. Our home is located in the popular Pea Hill Creek area. We have all the comforts of home and a wonderful lake in the backyard. The gently sloping yard takes you to the water's edge and our boathouse. There is a vacant slip in the boathouse to tie up your boat. The boat lift in the boat slip is raised to the ceiling so you can get your boat into the boat slip. We will rent the boat lift ($150) if you want to use it. We also have a small floating ramp that is a safe place to dock your jet skis. When it is not used for jet skis, turtles and ducks sun themselves on it, and watching them is fun. Additionally, there is a boat ramp/launch at the end of our road for the neighborhood (you and your guests) to use. The water is about eight feet deep at the end of our dock, and it gently slopes back to a few inches of water at the shoreline. The size of the house is 2500 square feet, and it has five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and two kitchens with full-size appliances. In addition, we have high-speed wireless internet available throughout the house for those of you who may have to work remotely. From the booking process to the last sad day we had to leave, this was perfect house for our family. I have never stayed in a more well appointed home. The kitchen had at least one of anything you could need. Just an easy, relaxing, home with beautiful views all day!

House is in a lovely neighborhood and sits on a quiet cove with just enough boat activity at the marina across the cove for gawking. Definitely love this lake. House was as presented, on a nice level lot and owners were great to work with.

The house was clean, well stocked and was perfect for our family vacation. We enjoyed the easy, level walk to the dock. And the lower living level was perfect for our teenagers. Would definitely love to visit again! Thank you for sharing your home!

We had a good time in general,
Place wasn't super clean, we had to rewash the dishes that where in the cabinets to use, Lots of dishes had food and particles on it , found something nasty in the top drawer of front bedroom by the front door, that I won’t mention,
The out door kayak and Canoe we’re pretty old , it was missing handles and Was difficult to put them in and out of water.
Overall was ok,

We had a fantastic time, the layout of the house was perfect for our family which consisted of my husband and I, our single grown son, my married son, his wife and 2 babies who had their own separate living space downstairs... it rained for half the time we were there but that was still fine as we fished off the dock, cooked wonderful meals and enjoyed each other's company. My son also brought his boat and jet ski which we enjoyed on the 2 beautiful days.
The house was so well stocked with every type of cookware, etc but we did bring our own food and linens. We will definitely be returning!!
