The unit was much more spacious than I expected - large living space and bedroom. The murphy bed meant that our lounging space wasn't disrupted each night. The kitchen was a decent size with good sized oven and fridge - the only suggestion I'd make is for more bowls and baking trays - one is not enough for a family that needs to cook! But we still managed a full Christmas turkey dinner.
The outlook through the large lounge windows was beautiful trees - very private. The huge hot tub was very welcome at the end of the day and never seemed to get crowded during our stay. Great to have a dishwasher and washing machine/drier.
The location is ideal - walkable to restaurants and shops. Sadly the snow conditions this year meant we couldn't ski in ski out - but we walked down to the gondola and stored our boots in a locker at the base.
A brilliant place to stay - would love to come back.

Great property, very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the quiet around the condo but just a short walk to the Village. Enjoyed the heated pool after our hikes. Unfortunately, the hot tub was being repaired for the week. Otherwise the stay was perfect!

Really appreciated not looking at other buildings, just trees and the quiet! Even the gas fireplace was quiet. It was only a short drive to the main village and a short walk down to the gondola. Lost Lake was very close in the other direction. Two excellent bathrooms and comfy furniture. We were completely satisfied!

Perfect ski-in ski-out, a little off the main village. A Murphy bed is much better than the usual sofa bed.

Great location for ski-in and out. Room is spacious for a family of 4. It has everything you need. Really loved the gas fireplace, automatically controlled.
Cons: outdoor pool was closed and jacuzzi was very dirty. These amenities are essential for winter vacation.
4.0
Let's start off with what is 5 stars about the property/suite:
- cleanliness
- fireplace
- location to ski in/out (about a 75 foot walk from the ski lockers to the run on Blackcomb). This is hard to beat.
- helpful staff
Now the reason why we gave it 4 stars.
The bed in the bedroom.
Simply put, its not a Queen. It's much closer to a Full Size.
This isn't debatable because we actually measured it and compared it to 2 different North American websites that publish standard mattress measurements.
If you intend to have 2 adults sleeping on this bed, this size might work for some but it definitely did not for us (I'm 5'9, 135lbs and my spouse 6,1 195lbs).
Any movement from one of us woke up the other. Virtually without exception.
Incidentally, some reviewers noted the firmness of the mattress as a criticism. It is firm yes, but no firmer than our own bed at home, so that did not factor into our commentary above.
Another interesting point is the relative low countertop height in the ensuite bathroom.
The countertop issue aside (which would not be a significant issue in and of itself), if you increase the size of the bed to a true Queen, or better yet take out one of the night tables and put a King in there, then you make the Suite (and property) almost perfect.

We loved it! Very cozy and as listed. Being right on the slopes was awesome. The blinds could use some TLC, but otherwise, great stay.

Amazing location and we really enjoyed the pool. Unit is really spacious but dated- bedding could be updated. Good communication and care from the property managers. We would stay again

My wife and I stayed here for a week. We usually stay at the Aspens, but that was a bit more expensive and this was right next door. The place was nice. It was large, and the vaulted ceilings made it feel very spacious. Heated flooring in the bathrooms and kitchen was also a welcomed amenity. The furniture in the place was a bit old and dated and the bed in the master was pretty firm as others have said too. The supports for the Murphy bed were also kind of falling apart at the foot of the bed, but it just had to be put back together before using it. Just needed to be careful not to hurt ourselves playing with the metal pieces. The bathrooms were updated which was nice, but there were some spots that the cleaning folks missed. The unit could also use some new pots/pans, as they were pretty old and at times tough to cook with. Free underground parking was a HUGE plus for our stay because we’re used to the Aspens which charges over $20/night for parking onsite. Having the washer/dryer with the supplied detergent was wonderful. Just a couple issues while we stayed that should have been prevented: First, on our last day, all of our keys were deactivated for some reason. Thankfully another guest was able to let us in and we checked with the front desk and they said that this happens sometimes and they were able to reactivate one of them for us. Unfortunately this actually happened to someone else who was in the hot tub at the time. Thankfully we were out there as well and were able to get them back in the building. Had nobody been out there with them, that could have been a slight issue. Lastly and very important to mention, there is a landline phone in the unit with a direct line (as opposed to an extension). At 4:30pm on our final evening in the place, we received a telemarketing call for a cable tv survey. I politely told them we don’t live here and are just renting and that was that. A bit strange, but didn’t really care that much. Where things turned south was that night we received another one at 4:30am that was an automated telemarketing call. Being that our alarms were set for 5:45am to wake up and check out only to drive 5 hours to Seattle and then fly 6 hours home, we were fuming and did not fall back to sleep after that. We highly recommend to anyone staying in the unit to unplug the phone from the wall for the duration of your stay unless Whistler Superior can supply a new phone with a DND button on it. Aside from that, we had a nice stay

We had an awesome time at the Woodrun Lodge. True ski-in and out property located just before the base of Blackcomb. More spacious than the photos, and the fire place was a highlight! Full working oven which we did amazing roasts in (better than our oven at home!). The reception staff were very helpful, and parking was great too. Would definitely stay here again next time!

I prefer to stay in the woodsy area's of Whistler, away from the hustle bustle, so this unit was perfect for us. No crowds & nice tree lined forest outside. Unit is cozy & equipped with dish & cookware needs. Unit was clean but I always clean a little extra wherever I stay. Bedding wasn't the best; and bed is a little firm for my liking. The unit could use some updating as it's a bit dated but we expected this & brought our own comforter, pillows, flowers, and throws - to make it more cozy. Due to covid there isn't much staff but yet they were still able to get us what we needed in a timely manner. Free parking was an added bonus. Looking forward to returning. Cheers

Loved our stay in Whistler this summer. The air conditioning in this suite was greatly appreciated during the hot days! Nicely decorated, roomy and in a great location. Mattress on the bed was quite firm, but after we added our own foam mattresses, it was absolutely perfect. We will be back.

Mattress in bedroom was too firm. It was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. We decided to sleep on Murphy bed but noticed the bed hadn't been changed from the last renters. Had to call the front desk the next day to change it and they did. Tap in kitchen did work very well. But everything else was good. Not sure if I would stay again because of the mattress

Merci !

The Condo was not cleaned properly and pool and hot tub and deck area was not clean at all. It was a disappointing. We were excited about a little get away during these trying times with Covid 19. Just relax and do some hiking. The Hiking is great in Whistler 👍 but the Condo and pool. I do not think we would stay here agian...

This top floor condo was very comfortable and well equipped. We loved the two full bathrooms - such a luxury. It is a short walk down to the Upper Village and right on the hill. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and were not busy. The small balcony has a pleasant outlook into the forest and was very private. Just perfect for a romantic weekend away.

Room was nice and clean, Murphy bed allowed for usable space in the living room. Kitchen had all the fixings. Only complaint the bed in the bedroom was SUPER firm haha. Great pool and short walk down to the upper village (8 min) and 15-20 to main whistler village

Nice location, nice vaulted ceiling
Kitchen and bathrooms seem recently remodeled. Enjoyed high ceiling and nice big windows. Could use a bit bigger TV in the living room. Little mud room was very convenient to store out helmets, boots and jackets.
Overall, very happy with the stay.

The condo was very clean and comfortable for my wife and I. The condo is on the top floor (serviced by elevators) and was very quiet. The second bathroom was great. The location could not be better - right on the slopes and a short walk to the village. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We stayed for 5 nights in January for a ski vacation. We have stayed in this unit before, and have no major complaints. Everything was in good working order. We like the murphy bed, it is much more comfortable than a pull out couch when an extra bed is needed. Our only criticism of this unit is that the queen bed in the master is incredibly firm. Otherwise we highly enjoyed our stay.

This was a return visit for us and we like Woodrun as it is Wonderfully located to enjoy the quiet of the mountains, yet good walking distance to both the upper Village and the Village centre. Pool and amenities are well kept and staff always helpful. The unit is clean and has comfortable basic amenities. We will return as it is good value for the $.

This property was exactly as described. We loved the unit as soon as we entered. The view of the trees provided instant calm and serenity. This unit was very well-equipped and provided everything we needed. The only drawback was the Whistler maintenance staff cutting down small trees and undergrowth for fire maintenance at 8:00 am Saturday morning. The chain saws at that hour woke us up and we were unable to get back to sleep. The pool was also unavailable due to maintenance.
