This cabin was awesome!! From
The view to the cozy rooms and beautiful town we loved it!! I would have stayed longer honestly if I could that’s how great it was. Highly recommend this home!!!✨✨✨✨

This was a very cozy and very enjoyable place. We loved coming back for the night rest after visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park during the day. It is very close to Beaver Meadows entrance. It was so memorable when we comeback after a fun day at the park and we encountered two male elks butting heads and a decent size mule deer herd roaming the neighborhood.

Owners obviously keep up on the property. Updated, and everything is in good working order. Beautiful view! Only downside is that cleaning was needed on our part right away upon arriving. Bathrooms, all the dishes, bedding, and floors. Having all the tools, and supplies, and laundry room was a huge plus! This place was perfect for our family of 4, and would easily fit twice as many people with comfort. Great park access, and lots of wildlife on the property the entire time. We really had a good time!

Loved that everything we needed for the week. Made cooking easy even for 6 of us. Lots of space to gather or spread out. Greet location for access to the town and the Park. Lovely house!

Other than checking in with a faulty carbon monoxide detector beeping when we arrived the house was great. We loved all the elk around the property which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Great property and location. Would stay here again. Rating due to a few minor inconveniences. Clocks need new batteries. No dishwater detergent. One bedroom ceiling lightbulb needs to be replaced. A couple of bedroom table lamp sockets need repair. A box of Kleenex would have been nice.

Great house for our group

Stay was lovely , few minor updates and repairs are necessary though. First and foremost , we didn’t realize this home has no AC - perhaps that’s fine most of the year but in August it was quite hot and uncomfortable , especially with no fans to help circulate the air.
Basement shower head was wrapped with mushy toilet paper(to not spray everywhere) and dripping. Perhaps the past guest left it like that as a temporary fix but it was not addressed. I also found someone else’s pants between the dresser and wall thinking it was mine!! Lastly, as per the house rules - we were asked to start the first load of laundry; however when I opened the laundry basket to put all my towels in, it was filled with the previous guests soggy and smelly towels . This was really an embarrassment as I took pride in choosing this rental for my family . Vacasa is the rental company used once booked here but they really need to see through their properties .

Beautiful home. Mostly well stocked. Minor hiccup with check in. The boiler plate instructions had an inaccurate door code which made us struggle a bit to get inside. Communication was good at times and abysmal at others. No dishwasher detergent which slowed down checkout. I would definitely stay again though.

We were with some of our adult children. The easy access to RMNP was the best feature of the VRBO. It allowed us to get into the park early so time restrictions were not a problem. The downside to this specific VRBO was that it was not as clean as we would have liked. Some of the dishes needed additional cleaning, and the dishwasher was not especially clean either.

Great home base for a Rocky Mountain adventure! House is close to the Park entrance making it easy to come and go from the park. Bottom floor family room with beds made the perfect spot for couple with small child to have their own space. The small play cubby in the living room was a nice surprise and a big hit for our 6 year old. The dice game on the coffee table got a lot of use! Beds were very comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Would certainly stay here again!

House was big enough for everyone to have their own separate space, but intimate enough for us all to be together.

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay here! Cabin was in a perfect location since we were spending most of our time at Rocky Mountain, views from the decks were beautiful! Highly recommend

I booked the rental on VRBO, the info. on Vacasa's site was different. Very confusing and frustrating. Vacasa said I had not made a security deposit when I had, but on the VRBO site. Forget contacting Vacasa Customer Service by email. The responses were canned responses that had nothing to do with my question. After 2 days of back and forth email, Vacasa wrote and said "contact your trip manager". Wait, I thought you were the trip manager? I will never book another VRBO managed by Vacasa.

Great property with a terrific layout for a family, easily accomodated six with beds to spare. Property was extremely clean at check-in and was a great base for exploring RMNP.

The view from the deck is great. Location is good for access to park and town. Store nearby. Lots of beds. Internet is slow. Very clean. Overall, we had a good stay.

Our family really enjoyed staying in this cabin. It is super cosy and comfortable. Great views through windows! The cabin was super close to RMNP visitor center and park entrance. Everyone enjoyed their turn in master bath using the "rain shower"!

House was perfect for our family. Kitchen is small but was pretty well stocked. Fireplace was only for appearances and not designed to provide any heat.

The view, The house wasn't very clean, everything dusty, under the bed in the master bedroom, had garbage, pens, chapstick, someone's underwear, the refrigerator didn't work, the brought a smaller one and placed it by the sliding glass door and table. The couch down stairs had a large stain on it , which I cleaned, so that I felt comfortable letting my grandchildren sit on it. Also the carbon monoxide detector alarm was beeping when I first arrived and wouldn't quit, it had an error code on it, I unplugged it once I finally found it and set it outside. The maintenance man who brought the refrigerator took it and one was never brought back. There was also someone half full soda cup left on the counter and trash in some of the garage cans. I didn't expect to have to clean, a rental that I paid a lot to stay in.

The house was nice and clean with great views. Plenty of towels and nicely decorated. Good size table to seat all of us. Limited seating to watch a family movie together. The only real issue was the Vacasa service fee was almost 35 percent of the rental fee. The service fee broke down to an additional 110 per night, ouch. I can see a cleaning fee but that makes you want to stay clear of booking agencies.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house. The millions Dollars View makes our every dinner so memorable. The only suggestion we may have is to change the laundry room door locker . We don’t know how to reopen it once we accidentally closed it. We will be back again once we have time.

My family of four enjoyed our stay at this unique comfy home during our third hiking trip to RMNP. We were surprised by the updated bathrooms not mentioned or shown in the listing. The master bedroom has been redecorated, and a spacious master bathroom has been added. The other bathroom on the second floor has also been remodeled. A Keurig coffee maker has been added in the kitchen, but a drip coffee maker is still available. There are an up-to-date full size HE washer and dryer on the lower floor and a full size piano keyboard has been added to the adjacent second living area. Both of my teenagers play piano and enjoyed practicing away from home after our daily hikes! They only wish they had known about it in advance so they could bring music! The views of Long’s Peak from the deck were spectacular. I wish I could post pictures. We also enjoyed reading about the family history of the owners — the original Lehmkuhl family immigrated from Germany in the mid-1800s and were well acquainted with William Jennings Bryan. There is a poster describing the family’s history downstairs. We felt very at home during our stay, knowing a lot of love and care has made this house a temporary home to so many people. We plan to stay here again on our next visit to Estes Park!

The home is located close to everything in Estes Park and to the entrance of RMNP. We enjoyed the views of the mountains and occasional deer grazing nearby when sitting out on the deck. The home is well appointed and has all the amenities you would need to enjoy your stay.

We had a great time staying at this property. We had 4 kids, ages 1 to 11 and 4 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone and we did not feel cramped. House was sufficiently stocked with necessities and was very clean. The older kids enjoyed staying in the bunk beds on the bottom floor. Bathrooms have been wonderfully updated, pictures don't reflect the updates. We ate most meals on the porch outside as it was very hot during our visit. The bottom floor is also the coolest in the house during hot days and we were perfectly comfortable with the breeze coming in open windows. My only negative comment is the mattresses - very hard! Overall, we highly recommend!

Perfectly located and perfectly equipped wonderful cabin that my family was able to use to visit and experience the Rocky Mountain national Park for a week. Four bedrooms (6 beds - King. Queen. Full. 3 twins). Beautiful views and everything you need to have a wonderful experience. Laundry room. kitchen with everything you need. Two of the bathrooms on the main floor have been completely remodeled and are absolutely gorgeous. The master bath has a double shower with a rain shower that is the best we’ve ever experienced. Lots of windows to enjoy the amazing view directly into the Mountains. Super short drive to the bear lake entrance to the park. And just about five minutes to get you into downtown Estes Park where all the happening places are. We couldn’t have been happier. It was super easy to book to check in to check out. Everything was great.
We will be back!!

Christmas vacation in Estes Park. Was Was full of surprises primarily the weather. The house was nice and cozy. Well stocked with essentials that you would need for your stay. However, in the future it would be very wise to let guess know that you need an all-terrain vehicle or a vehicle that has snow tires just in case the weather decides to change unexpectedly. After we were able to obtain snow chains for our tires we had an amazing stay. This will be our third time to Estes Park. Each time we have stayed in a vacation rental. This particular vacation home was a little bit further up in the mountains; with spectacular views I might say.

We stayed at this home for a week with family and it was the perfect homebase for us to enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park! The cabin is as described and had plenty of room for our group of 3 adults and 5 (older/teenage) kids. Having 3 bathrooms and the two living/game rooms plus multiple decks was awesome. The kitchen was well stocked in terms of utensils and pots/pans which is unusual for rentals often. We really enjoyed our stay and all the memories made this week!! Would highly recommend and would stay again if able.
