Kaleana’s Garden Special for the months of February through April $145.00 ..a night … come for a visit in beautiful Bend Oregon Come stay in the heart of the Old West side of Bend in a cute craftsman style house. You will love the location of the house so close to so many things. Come and enjoy all it has to offer with the beautiful Drake Park two blocks away and a short walk through the park to the old down town with all the best eating and dinning Bend has to offer. From the Deschutes Brewery to Mcmenamins Brew pub. Or walk two blocks to coffee shops, bakery and several great dinning places on the west side. Have the convenience of a bike and Ski shop two blocks away and great shopping treat at the Newport Market. The Old Mill District Shopping area, within minutes away which has a 16 complex movie theater, REI, and many more great shops. You are 20 minutes from Mt Bachelor Ski area for great skiing and snowboarding, don’t want to drive there is a bus shuttle 5 min. away. A fully equipped kitchen oven, microwave, dishwasher and all the dishes and pots and pans you need for those nights you wish to stay in for the evening. This is a two story house so any concerns for our guests about stairs … the second bedroom is up stairs and the bedroom down stairs has one step down into the bedroom … for those who need to take that into consideration when booking. The two bedrooms both with queen beds, linens and towels are all supplied and they both have their own full bathrooms. So this is great for four people , family or two couples The main house has a drive way that you can park two cars off the street. Has fully fenced in private back yard to enjoy with patio table and chairs. BBQ to cook when staying in for the evening. If you have any questions or need anything during your stay with us you can contact us in the apartment behind the house Kaleana’s cottage is the perfect place to enjoy your stay in Bend. With the many outdoor activities to enjoy from hiking, biking, boating, golfing, skiing, snowboarding, and much more We personally take care of the cleaning and maintenance on our home .. we follow the strictest guide lines to the cleaning of the home for our guests ... we have made adjustments to ensure that our guests have a wonderful stay with us ! So we want you to enjoy your stay with us and we will take care of everything when you leave. Our house is only listed on VRBO and is the only way to book our home ... if you see adds any where else they are fake .. as we only book through the VRBO website NOTICE if you have stayed at our home in the past ... we now are a two bedroom rental in the past we had three bedrooms available but it has changed and we only have two bedrooms at this time. Some of the reviews mention that it sleeps 6 but that is not the case any more. This is a non smoking rental. And sorry we do not allow pets at this time . Overall the place was comfortable and pleasant for our ten day stay. I would stay there again as the location is the best in Bend. You can walk to two coffee shops, numerous restaurants, Newport Ave Market, Sunnyside Sports, and you can easily walk to the River, Drake Park, downtown and even the Old Mill district. We’ve stayed in many similar cottages in Bend. The renovations here are above average and the owner has made an effort to make the place nice with a greenhouse room next to the living room, dining area which lets in more light as these cottages are often dark. The dishwasher and stove are great and the kitchen is tight but fine for one person. The upstairs bedroom is very nice with places for clothing storage and a wonderful walk-in shower with glass tile surround. The downstairs bedroom has a 9” step down from the front hall. There are also small single steps between other rooms. Cottages like this are inherently quirky and this one is no exception with the refrigerator in a separate room from the kitchen. The owner was extremely responsive and easy to deal with. Check in and out couldn’t have been simpler. I would highly recommend staying here for people without mobility challenges.

Perfect location to all things Bend. Walking distance to local breweries, food trucks, coffee shops, amphitheater, and floating the Deschutes River. The house is located in the Orchard District, with a small back yard that has a beautiful apple and plum tree. The house is small but enough room for 4 adults. The upstairs bedroom has its own bathroom, it also has the only window air conditioner. Downstairs bedroom with its own bathroom. No air conditioning downstairs or screen doors so it got a little stuffy in the afternoons. The backyard has plenty of shade though. We enjoyed our stay and will book again in the future.

We really enjoyed staying at this house! The pictures dont do it justice. Its very homey and comfortable with a perfect private backyard. Within blocks of the river and lots of restaraunts. We would love to stay here again!

This adorable cottage was the perfect place for our Bend getaway. The location can't be beat....a short stroll to Drake and downtown. Comfortable home stocked with everything we needed and the gorgeous garden backyard was our favorite afternoon spot. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property is very quaint and well-maintained, and it worked perfectly for our girls' trip because my friend and I each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The location was close enough to walk into town yet set back on a quiet street. I hope we can visit again soon!

We loved the vrbo accommodations. Probably the only two things to know before booking here. There is no 1st floor A/C. We used the 2 fans while downstairs to keep the temperature tolerable. The upstairs bedroom has a window conditioner that is loud for sleeping. There are step up/step downs throughout the first floor. Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

Property is well maintained. Things to note: the bedroom upstairs doesn’t have a door but off to the side enough to feel private. Does not supply travel shampoo/conditioner. Interacted with the owners. Very friendly. Would book again.

What a place! Everything was a 4 minutes walk! So many good food spots. 2 minutes to paddle board. We walked everywhere! Thank you! We’ll be back for sure. Perfection in Bend!

The cottage was perfect for 2 active senior couples. The steps and stairs would have made it not accessible for someone with walking challenges, but no problem for us. The neighborhood is charming and walkable, with a grocery store and restaurants nearby. Easy driving to our conference location, and a great home base for trips to the High Desert Museum and Crater Lake. We loved it, and had a great time!

My wife and I spent a long memorial day weekend in the cottage with another couple. The cottage was cute, clean and well equipped. It had multiple places inside and out that felt comfortable to hang out and chat and enjoy each others company. The kitchen was small but had everything that we needed. Perhaps the best thing about the cottage was its location. it is just on the other side of the river from downtown - we could walk to almost everything. There were a couple of breakfast cafes and a well stocked grocery about four blocks away. Drake park, the Deschutes River and downtown Bend were also a short work, as were the cluster of breweries and restaurants and food trucks on Galveston. There were 10+ breweries that we could walk to from the cottage. It was also a pleasant 1.5 mile walk to the Hayden Homes Amphitheater, mostly through quaint neighborhoods and along the river, which saved us having to deal with traffic after the two concerts we attended. We'll definitely stay here on future visits to Bend.

We stayed at this darling little bungalow for 4 days in April. We loved it! Lots of wonderful plants and a little solarium with a small table and chairs. Absolutely loved the upstairs bedroom and bath. Charming- bathroom super clean with a nice shower. This spot had everything we needed to be comfortable. Nice neighborhood and close to town! Highly recommend. We will return when back in Bend :-)

What a great location to downtown, the river, and places to eat, all in walking distance. The cottage was charming and well maintained. Added bonus was the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet.
If we visit Bend again we hope hope the house is available.

The cottage is clean, comfortable and convenient - perfect for easy walking access to downtown Bend. It has a small patio and nice little garden path that is obviously well-cared for. Karen, the owner, was perfectly responsive. Highly recommended!

My husband and I absolutely loved this little home. So quaint on a quiet street with birds singing. Two Mule Deer visited us one morning enjoying the shrubbery in the front of this delightful cottage. I would definitely stay here again.

Quaint Cottage in Bend
We had an excellent time at Karen’s garden cottage in bend. It was exactly as described and was the perfect launching point to explore Bend, which has so much to offer. Karen was a great communicator and made our check in and check out process so seamless. Would recommend for any group heading into town.

Walk to wonderful grocery, near town, restaurants, bakery. Darling garden, house plants galore, small backyard. Clean, comfortable beds, bathrooms accessed through bedrooms, add-ons to original house create step ups and downs so watch your footing. Lovely proprietor. We were offered early check-in. Kitchen very well equipped.
