Family Friendly Lake Front Home with Amazing Views
About this house rental
Beautiful family friendly home with an easy walk down to the lake! The main floor has a wonderful open floor plan with a large kitchen, living room and dining room. The master bedroom has a king bed and full bath attached. The 2nd bedroom also has a king bed, and the 3rd bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds for a total of 4 twin beds. The living room opens up to a huge sunroom with a queen bed, and the sunroom opens up to a large deck with a gas grill and breathtaking views of the lake! Head down stairs to the partially finished basement and find a ping pong table and 2 more bedrooms with full size beds and a bathroom. Exit the home onto the large grassy backyard perfect for lawn games, then head through the fence to the lake! We have gently sloping lake access, perfect for young kids or dogs to play in the shallow water. Or you can cannonball off the end of the dock into 20 ft water. There is space available on the shore of the lake to build your own fire and roast marshmallows and connect with nature. We have a 2 slip boat dock, one of which houses our boat, the second is perfect for yours. We have a variety of baby items available for you to use, if needed. We are located in Martin, Ga. 45 minutes from Clemson by boat, 55 minutes by car.

This is an amazing property. The yard is almost a full acre and fenced all the way around, so you don't have to worry about your dogs. The house is large - so large we didn't even use the 2 bedrooms and bathroom in the basement. Large kitchen and open living area. Sunroom all across the back of the house - with a bed in it. Plus a deck outside of it.
Nice lake access. Weather wasn't conducive to use enjoying the dock or water too much, and the lake is very high due to all the rain lately that part of the gangway was under water.
Will definitely stay here again when the weather is warmer!

We so enjoyed this spacious property. Great amenities. Wonderful neighborhood. Plenty of things to do or just relax. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed the home...plenty of room for everyone. The house could have been cleaned a little more and spiderwebs/cobwebs in every room. Was a nice place for our family vacation.

No complaints at all. It was so nice to have a completely fenced in yard, open the door and let my dog run and play. Plenty of room on the inside for my family to spread out and relax without being on top of one another. Will definitely go back!

The place was plenty big enough for a family of 12. There was separation for sleeping and enough room for all of us to hang out. Some of the electrical outlets did not work and there was mildew in the downstairs shower and refrigerator.

Bathrooms were mostly clean, bed linens were clean and all the appliances worked great. The host was responsive when we had communication issues and it was wonderful to be able to use the boat slip. There was also many essentials supplied like detergent, hand soap, laundry soap, paper towels and zip locks. As others have said - the home is mostly outdated and needs to be deep cleaned and painted - while it is a house in the woods and you expect to see a few uninvited guests or things a bit run down - I believe it could have been better. It was more like a cabin rental than anything else, but we certainly enjoyed the water, view and the water toys supplied by the homeowner. Understandably, it is hard to maintain a home of this size and we were blessed to be able to stay there.

Beautiful property. Some minor things needed attention but nothing to interfere with our stay.
We had a toddler and there were no baby gates to block stairs but we put chairs to block and rubber bands on cabinet doors. He loved the space. I don't know how many laps he did around the den through the kitchen.
Nice quiet area. Easy trip into to Lavonia, Clemson and Toccoa.

Overall great time. Lake is beautiful and house sits right on it! Dock was a good size to sit on all day and had extra slip to bring a boat. Had paddle boards, kayak and canoe to use. House was spacious with lots of beds and rooms. Plenty of seating for large families to eat and play games. The only drawback to this property was the overall lack of maintenance, mainly on the exterior (but also some interior) . Looks like it hasn’t been power washed in years, gutters full of leaves etc. and interiorly not a lot of kitchen dishes/pans/storage containers. For a house capable of hosting 10-15 people, only 8 plates/bowls and one small set of pots/pans. Overall it’s a great property and we had a blast but we just kept noticing how truly amazing this house could be with some TLC.

Great home! So large and accommodating. We had Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was so well stocked we did not need a thing. The boat dock was perfect for both our boats. Amazing! Will return.

We had a great time at this property. There was plenty of room for the entire family to spread out. Also lots of room for dinner etc. The dock was perfect for our 2 boats. The paddle boards were a hit with everyone. The fire pit was perfect for making smores. We made memories that will last a lifetime.

We love this location on Lake Hartwell. The home does have some maintenance issues which we shared with the owner after our stay. With a little TLC this place would be an all-round 5 star..

House is really a good size for the whole family. Location is in an awesome place. House has great potential.
Only thing I would say that needs a little improvement is, as nice as the upstairs was the bottom floor wasn’t as clean as expected. It worked out for our needs though.

Also the windows and glass doors made the sun room seem like part of the living space. There was a view of the lake from every angle in the house. Our dogs had a great time as well as the entire yard was fenced. Downstairs we enjoyed playing ping pong. The dock had plenty of room for our pontoon and the family spent hours fishing boating and paddle boarding. Hopefully we will return soon.
