Kunea Place rests on three-quarters of an acre of beautifully landscaped property, with a private pool and tennis court access. The home sleeps eight guests and has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a living room, a large renovated and fully equipped kitchen, indoor/outdoor dining areas and barbeque. All of the rooms at Kunea face out over the pool, tennis court and the lush landscaped property. There are also views of the West Maui Mountains and the ocean in the background. The property has ample amenities and gardens. Activities include swimming, tennis, croquet, . Or you can choose to just practice your golf swing, throw the football around or simply lie by the pool under the palm trees. Additional Location Information Minutes from Baby Beach, Paia, Kanaha, Sugar Cove, Kahului. In terms of location you cannot find anything better. Kunea Place is a three-minute walk to Baby Beach and minutes away from gorgeous and accessible beaches for surfing and windsurfing. A four-minute drive (or a 20-minute walk along the beach) takes you into Paia, which as you may know is a fantastic original plantation village. Today it's a very cool surfer town filled with restaurants, boutiques, yoga studios, and the best health food store on Maui. When you decide to dine out you can enjoy any one of the delicious nearby restaurants. We have a 100 day cancellation Because the home sleeps 8 if we re-book we refund the funds. We are going to offer a free massage from the best on Maui for all new bookings of 5 days or more and she will be available for added people who want more at her cost listed in the welcome folder. My family of four with a 2 yr old loved staying at this home. It was very close to baby beach - perhaps one of our favorite beaches in Maui. The proximity to Paia - a very cute town - was perfect. It was so central and easy to get to every spot on the island. We spent a lot of time in the pool and loved having our dinners outside. Would definitely stay here again. The only negative was the plane noise but honestly we got pretty used to it by night 3 and our boy loved watching the planes land so maybe not even a negative đ

This was the perfect home on a private, gated lot with a pool and tennis court all to ourselves. Our family of six had more than enough room for everyone to have their privacy but was perfect for everyone to gather for dinner and to hang out. One of the bathrooms is not attached so be prepared for that...but it was absolutely no problem for us. The property manager Dennis was quick to respond to anything that popped up during our stay. The location is conveniently located central to just about everything on the island. Because you are close to the airport you do hear the occasional airplane but it was nothing that put a damper in our stay. We had the absolute best time and will definitely stay there again when we return! We give it 6 stars!

This was one of the best rental experiences weâve had so far! The house was on the most amazing, private and peaceful properties. The outdoor space was perfect for our family of 6 to lounge comfortably when not at the beach. We made good use of the fabulous pool! Dennis was very responsive and pleasant to speak with. If we visit Maui again, this is the first rental weâll check out! We would for sure stay here again!

The home is great for families looking for an authentic Hawaiian experience. The home is rustic and charming. Not exactly pristine which worked great for our family as we didnât feel like we had to be super careful or walk on egg shells. The home is well lived in. Well stocked kitchen so making meals was great! The outdoor living makes this home PERFECT. Baby beach is perfect for enjoying low waves for families. Dennis the manager is responsive and super nice! All the property maintenance personnel were super nice and even shared a coconut with our family when they removed coconuts from the trees. Dennis likes it when tenants report major issues so we did! We let him know there were no working smoke detectors and one of the toilets didnât flush well. He was grateful for the report. When the dishwasher leaked, his guy was here within hours to fix it. Overall great stay! Our only disappointment which really wasnât a disappointment more like a minor inconvenience, is the bedroom next to the living room doesnât have an attached bathroom. So we took one for the team and stayed in that room. Our midnight jaunts to the potty were easier for us than it would be for our elderly family or the small child. But itâs really just a first world problem so we didnât let that bug us. If youâre worried about the plane noise donât be. Iâm sensitive when I sleep and I got used to it on day two. Mahalo Dennis!

Beautiful home, many amenities. Well stocked and immaculate with comfortable beds and private baths, large kitchen had everything we needed for family meals. Pristine pool and lots of pool toys. Lovely yard with privacy, flowers everywhere. 5 minute walk to white sand beach, 2 mile drive to Paia, resort village with shops and restaurants. 10 minutes to airport. Good host. Highly recommend.

The house was perfect for our group! We loved the separate spaces and the pool was huge! Air conditioning would have been nice but we made it work. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this hawaiian Maui house with our family (me, my wife and our nieces and newphews ranging from 13 to 25 years old). The house is perfectly located, just a short walk from the beach and boasts a large pool with a terrace and a tennis court. Everything was thoughtfully provided - from towels to beach gear, BBQ, to play tennis etc. etc. Also to mention: the kitchen was very well equipped. The property is quaint and rustic. We enjoyed the privacy and immense pool.

Their were 6 adults that stayed at the property, all around 60 year olds.
It is secluded, with a giant yard with beautiful shrubs and trees.
The pool is enormous and the tennis and pickle ball course are in immaculate condition.
It is a 10 minute walk to baby beach and a 20 minute walk to Pa'ia.
The kitchen was great, the couches and outdoor furniture were in great condition. The covered patio was great that made congregation perfect.
There were roaches some dead and some alive and small ants in the bathroom near the garage area.
I would not recommend children stay here because of the depth of the pool. It starts at 5.6 feet to about 12 feet and has easy access to pool from all rooms.
There is NO air conditioning which can be uncomfortable while trying to sleep.
It is near the airport and if you want to sleep, you WILL need earplugs, planes start flying around 4 a.m.and continue until near midnight.
The master bedrooms bathroom is far from bedroom.
The T,V.'s in the bedrooms were not operational.

The home is older but well stocked with everything you could need for the bathroom and kitchen. The house is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach where we saw sea turtles daily. The pool was beautiful along with the landscape of the backyard. The main road takes you to all the grocery and gas or a quaint shopping and eating area. One of our toilets stopped working and Dennis had it fixed immediately. Very easy to communicate with.

This home is the perfect way to enjoy your stay in Maui! We had 9 people ranging from age 7 to 48! Our married daughter and son-in-law were able to have their own room and bathroom and the younger kids had their own space and the older had a large room with a big bathroom. The pool here is amazing! Gorgeous sunset views from the patio. Just a short walk to the beach. I canât wait to come back!!

Kunea Place worked out great for our multigenerational family trip. The pool is awesome, and everyone enjoyed hanging out on the terrace in the mornings and evenings. Itâs a short walk to Baby Beach and a longer one to Paia, and centrally located for adventures to the east and west of the Island. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the kitchen had what we needed. The house isnât air conditioned but you wonât miss itâ the breezes keep you very comfortable with the windows open, and we loved waking up to the sound of the mynahs and zebra doves in the morning. Dennis was very responsive when we had questions. This is a good choice for a Maui adventure!

This house was ideal for our family of 7 adults and 1 toddler. Great separation of space, a well equipped kitchen, outdoor dining, beautiful lawns (which were great for bocce) and a sparkling pool which we enjoyed more than anticipated. A nice neighborhood and short walk to 3 lovely beaches with Paia close by. We had so much fun here. Dennis was great to work withâŚ.Mahalo!

This property Has a really nice pool.The location is very close to the airport which is good and bad. In the evening between 8 and 10. PM you've got a lot of planes. The property is a little bit older but well maintained and everything you need has been provided.

Everything was perfect! It fit our two families perfectly. Loved the private rooms and all the bathrooms. The property was STUNNING and LOVE the 5 min walk to baby beach. We enjoyed the pool so much. This house was the perfect getaway for our family! It is in a very private neighborhood away from the resorts, but still a short drive away from Kahului. Between the 5 minute walk to the beach, tennis court, and pool, we could have just stayed at the house our entire vacation. Everything we could have needed and more was stocked/provided in the house, could not have chosen a better place to stay.

We had a great time staying in this home! It is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We loved sitting out on the lanai with the view of the pool, palm trees and distant mountains. This house is a paradise for nature lovers, lots of birds and little lizards in the garden. We found the host, Dennis, to be very helpful, available and friendly.

What a beautiful, clean, safe and welcoming property with all rooms overlooking the pool and so much space to spread around. A ten minute walk to a special beach and a quick drive into Paia with great restaurants made the location prime for us. We needed to contact the host a few times with questions and he responded immediately and even ran us out a new propane tank for the grill one evening.

Excellent rental!! We took our adult / married children to Maui and this rental was perfect for our needs! Everyone had their own place to retreat to after a long day experiencing Maui. The pool was a perfect place to gather and play and the tennis / pickleball court was just right! The beach was a 5 minute walk away

A very nice location with great amenities for a group traveling together. A short walk to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Nice house with individual suites for each couple. Sleepy Paâia just down the road with good shopping and fantastic food. A nice touch would have been to have mini-fridges in the rooms as depicted but no big deal. This was a great way to celebrate my birthday with my adult children and their friends. Mahalo Dennis!

Had a fantastic time!! Everyone loved the pool. Fun nights playing games at the big table outside by the pool. Great assortment of kitchen dishes pans. Enough for our big Thanksgiving meal. Host made great suggestions for pickleball in town. THANKYOU!!
