Host and house was amazing, space was modern, and conveniently located :)

Loved the stay. Very clean and well decorated. Just like the listing. As a Falcon fan, I got a laugh out of the bedroom photo of the Saints… but nice touch! Tub is definitely slippery, got to be honest about that. Must be sober with good balance to stand in the shower for sure. Neighbors are a bit close, could hear them in the back yard. But overall, very good location and positive experience.

Nice house in decent neighborhood and close to the trolley line. There were minor cleanliness issues when we arrived but nothing major. Just some dusty light fixtures and overall could use a deep cleaning. The shower in the primary suite needs work as the temperature control is non existent. It's either scalding hot or a trickle of water. Also the tub is in desperate need of a bathmat. It is extremely slippery and is a fall waiting to happen. Informed the manager of these things as we were leaving. (He arrived when we were just getting ready to back out of the driveway). Overall we liked the property but the minor items do need addressing for safety and a higher rating.

Property was very nice and a convenient location. Property manager was very accommodating and accessible. I’d stay here again

I have no complaints at all other than low water pressure. The house was neat and clean. Very spacious. The foosball table is useless though as the floor is not level. I would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

Great place to stay and great location! Just one block from the canal street car line so easy access French quarter and downtown! Would definitely stay again!

Host replied to me they do not supply soap/shampoo due to different preference. Remember to bring your own.

First the positives. The unit is what was described with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Lovely kitchen and living space. Cody met us at an early check-in and got our code for the door. House was clean and mostly ready to use.
Some recommendations.
1. no closet in bedroom so over the door hooks with hangers would be helpful. We’ve purchased those and left for next guests. A dresser for clothes storage would help as well
2. No towel racks in bathrooms to hang towels for drying or ease of retrieving after shower. Also water in main shower is a trickle and ONLY hot!!
3. Bathtub in primary is very slippery, mat in tub would be best for safety
4. Personally I would remove the foosball table and get more seating for more than 3-4 guests.
5. If this is more a rental for people who want a place to shower and sleep that’s great but the 4 of us were here for a football game and sightseeing so we brought in food, etc and expected a bit better outfitted kitchen.
6. It was clear the unit was cleaned prior to re-rental but chairs weren’t put back on floor nor dishwasher emptied.
7. Perhaps modify listing to show only 1 king and 1 queen
We’ve used many short term rentals in past and believe that the owner should put themselves in the guests shoes depending on the guests needs.

My friends and I came to celebrate her birthday. The location is perfect close to French Quarter and not far from Bourbon Street!! Quiet area and Waffle House around the corner. Nice and clean space with plenty of room. The owner was great with communicating. 10/10 recommend!!

Short Uber ride to everything, very clean, and perfect for the long weekend in NOLA!

The house was as described and very very clean! Near EVERYTHING so catching ubers to different areas were very reasonable. I definitely will rent again!

Overall this was a very nice stay. It was very easy to find and we had our own private parking and did not have to park on the street which was great. We got a little nervous when our check in time was 4 pm and we still had not gotten our code, address, and instructions for checking in. I did send a message and it went unanswered for a couple hours. When I called, the host answered right away and sent everything over just before we got into town. Everything seemed pretty clean, other than the floors had quite a bit of trash, such as tags from clothing, etc. I didn’t really see any dirt, just “things”! The laundry room trash had not been changed and we had to hunt bags for the trash cans. I did feel like it was a decent place to stay and I would book there again if I needed a place to stay that was convienent to the French quarter and attractions. It was very peaceful.

We stayed at Creole Nest III from June 26 - 29, 2023. There was a heat wave during that time, and we did a lot of walking and sightseeing on this trip. When we got hot and tired, we returned to this little house to shower, cool off, and rest. We kicked back and watched TV or took a nap on the comfortable king-size bed. This place was perfect for us. It has a full kitchen. 2 coffee pots (a standard drip machine & a Keurig). 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Great air conditioning. And a private driveway beside the house, so no jockeying for a parking place on the street. It's an old house in a quiet neighborhood that has been totally & beautifully remodeled. Waffle house on the corner, Betsy's Pancakes 2 blocks away. (You have to eat at Betsy's; they serve breakfast and lunch. Home cooking. Yum.) There's a streetcar stop on Canal Street 2 blocks from the house. This will be our go-to place to stay when we visit New Orleans. Thank you Cody!

We have been coming to NOLA for almost 30 years and have stayed in the Quarter and other surrounding tourist areas. This was ideal as we drove this time and had off street parking which allowed us to move around outside the Quarter but a short walk to the trolley got us in and out of The Quarter easily and safely when driving was a hassle. Apartment was very clean and had all the basics needed. It was a treat to stay in a more residential neighborhood and try some truly local restaurants (Juan’s Flying Burrito is a new favorite!) Looking forward to another visit!

Room was clean, within one block of trolley stop which saved parking expenses at convention center. Also Betsy’s pancake house was at the corner of the trolley stop which was absolutely perfect for breakfast.

Well I had read some previous reviews and had found that the guy who rents out the property does stay on the property in the back. I had no issues at all with that. The rental for us was more of a place to come and sleep and get ready that was about it. The only negative thing I could think of is that the property manager did not contact me I had to contact him the morning before we were checking in to make sure that we were able to still use the property.

This was a special birthday trip for a family friend that has never experienced all the fun and food of NOLA. We had a group of 5 so it was really nice that everyone had a bed or comfy pullout sofa to sleep on. Mattresses were VERY comfortable. The property was immaculate and looked exactly like the pictures. Had a little trouble checking in because the cleaning crew was running about 45 minutes behind. But the owner was super helpful about keeping us updated and gave us lots of info about grocery stores around the area so we used that time to grab some groceries. It’s about a 30 minute walk to Bourban Street but we enjoyed the walk and felt very safe. All in all, great trip. Will definitely stay again.

Cute house, easy to find. Many streets in NOLA are one way but GPS found this place just fine. Off-street parking! We rode the street car almost everywhere. Stop is one block from the house and it was a 10-15 minute ride to Bourbon street. We wish we could have stayed another week to explore the rest of the city. RedZone liquor is close to the stop and other food markets as well.
House was great, updated everything, and the beds were VERY comfortable! Not all VRBO or Airbnb come with king size bed so that was great! Plenty of room to move around and the foosball table was the kids favorite in the evening! Satellite television was great for finding whatever we wanted to watch.
Thank you for the great stay and place, We will definitely look for your place again when we come back!

Owner has great great communication even called and asked if I needed to check in early. Neutral location Uber drive with 10 minutes pretty much anywhere you wanted to go. If I come back to New Orleans I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great experience.

This place looks nice from the photos but in actuality this old “gem” had some hidden secrets that came out at night. We were so disappointed to see our kids have been bitten all on their arms and legs and we had planned an outing that day.

The house looks smaller on the outside, but is very spacious for two couples on the inside. The street was under construction, but we were able to access the driveway just fine. The house has a very comfortable family feel to it. I loved that. My husband and I stayed in the guest room, while our friends took the master. There was a closet in the guest room, a full/queen bed, nightstand, and tv. I saw that there was a sofa in the master bedroom, with the king bed. Linens were provided, and I'm so glad because I didn't check beforehand. My husband loved the foosball in the Livingroom. Our three nights went by too fast, thank you for allowing us to stay.

Loved the place, very cozy, I cooked and we enjoyed everything.

The road was completely tore up, about a foot drop down and no side walk. Could not get luggage to the house. Very dangerous for our 3yr old to walk over a construction area with rebar sticking out.

Great home 1 block off streetcar running Canal Street. Owner communicated well with us even though prior renters overstayed their welcome. Would stay here again.

I originally booked a 4 person two night stay for a Sunday and Monday. When I booked the trip, I mentioned to the owner that we would be having extra guests some nights. He reminded me that would incur an up-charge of $35 per person, per night. While driving to New Orleans on Sunday, I learned that a fishing trip we had booked for Wednesday was getting moved to Tuesday (due to weather). I contacted the property manager Preston and explained this to him. After discussing options, we ended up extending the rental two more days, to include Tuesday and Wednesday Feb 15 & 16. Late Monday night, I remembered to text Preston, the property manager and let him know we had 5 nights where there were extra guests at the VRBO. Specifically, one night with one extra guest and two nights with two extra guests.
Our fishing trip on Tuesday went from 6:00 AM to late afternoon. We drove back to New Orleans, got back into the rental and were just heading out for supper when I got a call from VRBO. They said the owner had been trying to contact me and was within his rights to evict us! I told him this was all news to me. We were 70 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico and well out of range for cell service. Having no phone number for the owner, I told the VRBO rep that I would contact Preston the property manager. I called Preston immediately and he did not take my call. Instead, he texted me that he was busy at "his son's practice" and told me I had to pay for the extra nights right now. I looked at the charges and saw that we were charged for 6 extra nights instead of 5. I texted Preston to discuss that. His response was to threaten me with immediate eviction if I didn't pay the full amount he had charged us (for the 6 extra nights). Having no choice, I paid the amount and (successfully) disputed the charges when I got home.
I don't know if it was the decision of Preston, or the owner to threaten us with eviction. But given that I volunteered to Preston that we had extra guests, it was obvious that we fully intended to pay for them. I've rented a lot of VRBOs and this was far and away the worst experience.
