Located in South Padre Island, this charming condo for £220 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT!! NOT QUITE THE PENTHOUSE, but close as we could get! The penthouses are on the tenth floor - we couldn't afford a penthouse...chances are you can't either if this is your budget!. Great views of paradise overlooking the gulf from this Aquarius beachfront, 9th floor unit. Watch sunrise on the gulf and soon Space-X launches from living room balcony. Located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Sandy and I stay often in our units and update them constantly. No need for a rental car, you can walk to entertainment and great bay side restaurants such as Louie’s Backyard, Palm Street Pier Bar & Grill, Laguna Bob's and Daddy's. Shopping, water park and theater also close by. Just out the back door is miles and miles of white, sandy beach to walk, or you can relax around the large pool and hot tub, or if you must work, there is W.I.F.I. in our room. Jet skis, parasail banana boats, dolphin watch, museums and lighthouse are just some of the nearby attractions. The Aquarius is a gated beachfront complex with a friendly 24 hour management /security staff. The Aquarius also has a laundry room, a small fitness and sauna room and 3 BBQ areas. S.P.I. We had a great time with beautiful weather. Right practically on the beach with great view. The place was clean. The only thing we found was that their were some wine drinking glasses that did not get cleaned well in the cabinets. We would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay! Perfect view of the beach every morning. Also could watch the fireworks from the balcony. There was two teenagers and two little ones and 2 adult. It was just right for us. Pool and hot tub were clean and very nice. Loved that it was gated. Felt very safe. Will definitely go back

Perfect little getaway for our family. The condo had absolutely everything we needed and was super clean. The location was perfect! We could walk to anything and everything in no time!!! The view was absolutely beautiful overlooking the beach! I would definitely return without hesitation!!!

This is our second visit at Mr. Dotson's Condo at the Aquarius. This condo has a breathe taking view, comfortable beds and in is perfectly located. Our kids loved their room and the decor. We are hoping to come back this summer. Thank you for your hospitality.

Coming from FREEZING Colorado, a weekend in this charming condo is just what my family needed! Cozy, clean, and a great view of the beautiful ocean! The staff/residents were friendly and wonderful, the pool was warm, the beach was well kept and everything we dreamed of! Comfy beds, big shower, and even a toy box full of beach toys for the kids. Thank you Greg & Sandy for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

This condo is very well kept and in a great location. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will probably be making this an annual trip. The room faces east so you can sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise with your cup of coffee.

We loved the storage space available with cabinets in the bedrooms, great closets, and lots of shelf space in the bathroom. Very enjoyable! We want to rent this property again next year! location was very good. the condo was very clean and kitchen had everything needed for cooking. laundry room conveniently works with an app, so you do not need to bother with coins. i definitely recommend this location as a great stay for a family.

It was okay, just first day was bad. Wasn’t clean so didn’t get into room til 9pm. So my guest was staying later and they got mad, but was there fault. Overall the rest of the stay was good.

Beautiful ocean views from the 9th floor! Secure parking lot and complex with easy access to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, shopping etc Staff was polite and very helpful. Owner had exceptional communication and very comfotable unit. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This condo was perfect for my family of five. It is on the beach with a beautiful view! The location is stellar, too! You can walk to great restaurants and shopping. Parasailing and banana boat rides are just across the main road as well. The condo was well appointed with plenty of dishes and pots and pans for a meal at home. There were plenty of linens and blankets, and the beds are very comfortable! The hosts were attentive and easy to contact, should you need anything. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The photos of the unit were accurate. The condo building and amenities are well kept, though this unit is a bit dated. The shower door (glass) was broken upon our arrival, which was a holiday weekend so we had to deal with that hazard for a couple of days since this is the only place to shower. Owner apologized but didn’t offer us anything for the inconvenience, just blamed the prior guests. The shower door issue should have been identified and repaired before our stay. Water pressure is terrible so I never felt clean after a shower either. Parking was sometimes tricky as well but again we were there during a holiday week so maybe it’s not normally that tight. Fold out couch is not comfortable for adult, but child could sleep comfortably there. Beds were comfortable. Other than these issues, we had a nice stay. Not trying to be negative, just wanting to share our real experience with anyone considering this unit so they know what to expect.

The room was great overall clean with a great view. The only complaint we have is that we have 2 family members near the area we haven't seen in 30 years that wanted to grill for a few hours by the pool with us and the property did not offer a visitors band or anything. Over all pretty good. Great location!

The rental property and room was very nice. Parking and grounds were very safe. The pool, hot tub, beach access and pavilions were so pretty and well kept. The room was very nice and functionable with plenty of towels blankets dishes and pillows. The view was just perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my mom and myself. Greg&sandy were so nice and attentive.

This was a very last minute trip. I’m honestly not a fan of condo/hotels because I’m super sensitive to noise. We typically rent houses. I was surprised how quiet this place was especially since it was Spring Break. We all slept great. The condo fit our family of 4 perfectly. You can’t beat the view. Proximity to the beach was great, especially with kids. The heated pool was a sanity saver when the weather was not cooperating (hello 30 mph winds). Overall we had a really great stay. The building is in need of a little TLC but for the price it was a great spot to stay.

I loved staying in the condo because of the amazing view and the amenities within the property. It’s got a great location where it’s around 5 min from multiple good restaurants and not to mention the spot on the beach. Having a condo to walk into work a full kitchen and many provided needs made this trip less stressful. Definitely would recommend and come back!
