About this cabin rental
Situated in Bend, this lovely cabin for £157 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This property is a beautiful large log cabin on an acre of treed natural landscape. Please do not rent this space unless you are going to take care of it. It is our private vacation home and we really love it. This property is a beautiful large log cabin on an acre of treed natural landscape. Outside there are many amenities to help you enjoy the outdoors; with a hot tub, deck, hammocks and a fire pit. Inside, you'll find even more, with a WiFi connection (although it is rural Bend so bandwidth can sometimes be an issue), four bedrooms, three and a half baths, large functional kitchen, and high ceiling living room with a gas fire place. On the main level, there are three bedrooms, living room, kitchen and sunken dining room, and three bedrooms on the main level include: an en suite bedroom with a firm queen bed and attached bathroom, a bedroom with a medium-soft queen bed, and a third bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. There is a full bathroom in the same hall as these three bedrooms. This hall has air conditioning. Upstairs, on the other side of the house, there is a large master bedroom with a soft king bed and gorgeous bathroom. This room does not have air conditioning, but does have windows and a ceiling fan. The living room has a large, comfortable couch, large screen smart TV with DVD player (there is no cable), a book and movie library, and a sound system you can hook your phone or iPod up to play music throughout the house and outside. The kitchen is the hub of the house, sitting between the dining room and living room. It is fully equipped with newer appliances perfect for cooking and baking. It has place settings for 16. The sunken dining room is adjacent with a traditional fire place and seats eight. The play room, downstairs from the main level, has a flat screen TV (with a DVD player and a Wii), toys for young children, and lots of board games. There is a queen sized futon and two comfy couches for extra sleeping arrangements. Nearby is downtown Bend, Mt. Bachelor, golf, and endless possibilities for outdoor activities in the mountains and on the river. We are just a mile and a half from hiking and biking trails at Shevlin Park. Winter sports include downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, dogsledding, and snowmobiling -- all a short drive away. Summertime brings golf, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, mountain and road biking, canoeing, rafting, and many other activities. Bend has a wonderful selection of restaurants and shopping. DCCA#277. Entire home except for one bay of the garage and one locked closet in the master bedroom. We are generally available by text, phone, and email to handle any concerns. If we will not be available for more than 24 hours, you will be provided our housekeeping service contact information in case anything comes up. We are near Chevlin Park and Tumalo Park. There is biking, hiking, tubing, and many other outdoor activities nearby. You will need a car to access the property and to get into town unless you are a very fit biker. Please do not rent this cabin for parties or if you are going to cause damage. We love this place and ask that you take good care of it.

House was clean, communication with owner was easy and quick. The only thing off in description was the upstair living room is much larger in person than in the photos, which was great it fit 16 of us.

Overall it is a large enough house for larger groups and has the essentials without a luxurious feel. Close enough to downtown Bend to Uber or drive/carpool. No space for yard games. I did not see that the master bedroom does not have AC; I strongly suggest discounting 3 sleeping places in the summer, it was miserable up there. Also extra sleeping arrangements are mattresses on the floor. We chose to use air mattresses and the floor. The AC did not cool the large TV room either where others are supposed to sleep. Ran in to minor inconveniences like a broken dishwasher rack, TV sound system was not working properly, broken ping pong paddles, outdoor furniture hadn't been assembled (new); the host assured me they would have fixed these if I had spent the time to discuss, which I believe, but my priority is enjoying my vacation.

We were a group of 50-somethings gathering for a 35 year reunion and while the size and space was great for a large group, it was on the whole a very disappointing experience. The house is most definitely a "party" house based on the overall conditions. This was verified by an Uber driver who referred to it as the house with all the bridal parties. The exterior of the house was a mess, with an overflowing dumpster, weeds, broken furniture, filthy windows, and uninstalled light fixtures. The interior was clean enough (with the exception of the stove area), but carpets and furniture are stained and need refreshing. Additionally, the interior shared spaces are quite dark and uninviting. When we contacted the owner about the conditions outside, she seemed surprised and said her husband had recently been there and all was well. When contacted again, she had found and explanation and said that the gutters had recently been replaced and that was the source of the mess and that the "good" furniture was in the garage. I sincerely doubt it, since the broken furniture was the same furniture in the photos online. She also suggested that they would have "remedied" the situation if I had contacted her while I was there - which I did and was brushed off. Also, the remedy would have required hiring gardeners to clean up the exterior spaces. We were confounded by the positive reviews of this place.

Lovely and quite large home located about 8 miles from downtown Bend. It was quiet and peaceful and the house had more than everything needed for a fun spring break in Bend.

We rented this home for our two day Annual Event. We had seven people on our team; accommodations were perfect and beds were extremely comfortable! The best part for our group was the open feel and huge living room with a beautiful fire place - it was absolutely perfect for our event. Lorena was beyond accommodating and always responded within minutes. I will be booking this for our next annual event! Thank you Lorena!!

We need a weekend place where our elderly parents could rest and our kids could let off some energy before and after a family wedding. The varying bed firmnesses worked just right for the needs of our family members. The hot tub and game room provided relaxation and entertainment in our down time, and we were grateful to be able to visit and take meals together before our long drives home in every direction. If only we could have stayed a little longer to enjoy the home and beautiful location.

We had to use our own batteries in the controllers, too. The SSID for the wifi given to us was not correct. The password posted in the living room by the TV is not correct. There were no large, extra blankets for the king bed which made regulating your temperature at night more challenging. The comforter was too warm, but using only the sheet was too cold. We used two smaller blankets, one for each of us, which worked okay. Some of the light switches were in weird locations. The switch for a couple of kitchen flood light was never found, so we could turn off the lights. I know it sounds like a lot of complaints, but all in all we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin and we would rent it again for a special occasion.

We only stayed two nights and would love to come back! More than enough space for our group of 6. It could easily accommodate twice that number with room to spare. Nice space to sit outside in the evening in the backyard. No complaints.

Beautiful Home Close to Bend
We only stayed two nights and would love to come back! More than enough space for our group of 6. It could easily accommodate twice that number with room to spare. Nice space to sit outside in the evening in the backyard. No complaints.

The property was great! The oven was broken and we didn't know ahead of time so I had planned meals which required a stove. So we ended up having to eat out and pack our groceries back home with us. Other than that, the house was great...lots of board games to play too

Being a dog friendly home it didn’t have animal smells. We had one family member very allergic and did well.Hot tub frustration-very murky, dirty water the first night. Somebody was there in the morning to shock the hot tub but we couldn’t use it till that evening. But we did a huge trail walk and could’ve used it in the afternoon- so never was able to use the hot tub.Overall, location was easy to get to trails, downtown Bend. Located next to Johnson Road- busy with truck and car noises. But still doable.

Risa Cabin is Great
We had a fantastic time in Bend at our daughter's wedding -- even though the snow was unexpected! But it made our time in Bend more magical. Risa Cabin was perfectly located, just a mile from Aspen Hall and the wedding. It was well appointed and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. You can't go wrong here with this rental.
