10 minute walk upheld to canyon Lodge. Very cozy one bedroom unit. Bunk beds don't have ladder nor guards from falling off so not as ideal for younger children. But overall everyone had a great time

The condo was very comfortable very cozy with the wood inside. Would be really fun in ski season with the fireplace

The space was good for a small family trip. It is a one bedroom, which means the bunk beds are in the hallway with no privacy, and the other sleeping space is in the living room. The sofa bed is all old springs, so we used our own air mattress on the floor. The space was adequate, but there are several details that definitely need attention. The condo complex was quiet. I appreciated the dog-friendly condos. The pool and rec room were great! Overall, the condo was adequate and met all our needs.

Location and parking is great for access to town trail. Quiet complex even though it is right off Lake Mary Road. Very dated decor and no upgrades but has the basics you'd expect for a dog friendly unit at that price.

The condo was comfortable and spacious, more than enough room for our family with pups. Everything needed was provided in the unit, and there is a great pool and recreation room. Perfect for a relaxing summer getaway to hike and explore the gorgeous scenery. Location was convenient as well. Customer service was quick to respond if you need anything. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay last weekend. Condo was clean and comfy. Loved taking advantage of the fireplace as it snowed outside.

Perfect place for the weekend getaway!

Well stocked, clean, and plenty of space for a family of four (kids 8 and 12 yo) plus dog. Convenient location right by the orange line stop and a half mile from both Canyon Lodge and Mammoth Village. Grounds included a pool and two permit parking spots. The balcony might have a view and firewood, but there was about 6+ ft of snow blocking the back door.

Our stay was just great! Good location with trail access nearby, yet quiet enough to relax and enjoy the environment.
The owner has done a nice job thinking about all the creature comforts of a temporary home: dishes, utensils, appliances, games, maps, books, plenty of linens, mountain bikes at our disposal, (2) TVs, comfortable beds, etc, etc. Just fantastic!
Thank you for providing an excellent Vacasa experience for my daughter, her dog "Gypsy" and myself. Great memories made and some great hikes completed.
Regards,
Geneva

I thought about not saying anything so that this place could stay a secret, but it's not fair to Discovery 4 to limit the kudos. This place is wonderful. Even with the minimal amount of adventure mentality, you can WALK to Canyon Lodge. It's not far. Just don't lace up your boots. If you ski, I recommend taking regular boots and then locking them up, but it's still way better than parking. Somehow you get perfect location, comfortable commodities, and a good price. That's rare. I'm always checking here first.

Great location
Had a wonderful stay at Discovery 4 condo. Excellent location and a very quiet community.

This condo had many positives. It was very clean. It was well-equipped. It is in a great location. Walking distance to Mammoth Mtn Brewery and close to tamarack lodge and Lake Mary. And even though the condo is dark and the bathroom is tiny we would have been happy to come back and make this our go to place to stay EXCEPT for the fact that the bed is incredibly uncomfortable. I had to move to the couch which was only slightly less uncomfortable. The bed was so hard that my husband and I both ended up with sore hips and shoulders. I think the comfortability might be improved with a foam topper. We also would have loved to have been able to sit on the small deck and drink a glass of wine in the evening or coffee in the morning since it actually has a nice view of mountains. However the deck was completely inaccessible due to two bikes and a messy pile of logs/tarp that were stored there. All in all if you can handle a horribly hard bed it is a perfectly nice place to stay in Mammoth.

Great place especially for dogs
The place was great however bring your own pillows. The pillows used were pretty flat. Also the top bunk has no rail and if planning to use with kids I would recommend using the sofa bed. The place otherwise was great and we would love to stay there again.

Well Kept and Clean
Small, but clean and plenty of kitchen stuff for fixing meals, although we did not really cook much. Very quiet condo.

good stay but
Over all the lighting was very dim except at night the bedroom had very flimsy covering on the window and the room was way to bright from the outside lights. The bath area was very tight
