Situated in Santa Barbara, this attractive house for £206 per night is a great option for your next break. This enchanting home on the ocean side of the city has mountain and partial ocean views in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to shops, dining and grocery and less than two minutes to downtown or one of several popular beaches. One of the most popular homes in our offering, the home is warmly decorated and includes extras such as hot tub, pack n play crib, boogie board and umbrella, kids toys and hot tub. Wi-Fi and washer/dryer included. One King, one Queen and a twin floor bed and pack n' play crib available. Beds are clothed with fine linens, comforters and pillows. Dining room seats four-five comfortably with kitchen bar seating for two. Chair mounted high chair available. Living room has flat screen TV, DVD player and movie library. Board games, tour and hiking books as well as coupons for local attractions are provided to make the most of your stay. Features: - Less than a mile to beach - Single family home. We had a wonderful time in Santa Barbara, the house was well equipped and very comfortable in a quiet neighbourhood close to local amenities. The only issue we had was the very charming, but antiquated, oven (71 years old). The owners came straight over and checked it out when we queried it’s suitability (it was safe). Having said that, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to this lovely house and hope to rebook in the future.

This is a wonderful cottage with 2 comfortable bedrooms, updated kitchen and a lovely outdoor space with beautiful views. It is very private and our host was very helpful. The location was perfect and home very clean and updated. We will definitely return !

Does not disappoint

This was the perfect spot for us to head to the Channel Islands for the day and enjoy some time in Santa Barbara. Just the right amount of space and the property manager was right next door and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

I loved how quiet, private, and quaint the property was; however, I believe there needed to be more updates and cleaning that should have been done before our check-in. Dishes, utensils, and pots/pans that were put away were not thoroughly cleaned so we had to wash them again before using. We were hoping to eat dinner outside in the backyard but the patio seating was covered with cobwebs. Nobody did maintenance on the oven to ensure that everything was working and despite us following the check-out instructions, we found that they didn't have some of the things required for us to not be charged a fee, i.e. laundry detergent for towels. The two other numbers provided (not Lynn's) were unresponsive when I had questions before and during my stay. I didn't get a responses regarding my texts until the morning before we checked out. Not the most professional in my opinion.

Charming little house
We loved our stay at this charming little house! The beds were comfy and the kitchen was fully outfitted with everything we needed to cook at the house. The property was the best part, we made good use of the fire pit and the hot tub. Would recommend and stay again!

The bed was comfortable. The dishwasher ran excessively; we finally got it to stop after it ran over two hours. Water pressure seemed to be another issue with the property. It would be nice if the closets & kitchen drawers were cleaned & tidied up.

We absolutely loved our stay at Alta Mesa! Online pictures don’t do the views justice! You get views of the mountains on one side & ocean on the other. House was extremely clean & well maintained. Lynn was absolutely wonderful. Very thoughtful & kind. I’d absolutely stay at the property again.

Perfect for a small family or two couples. Close enough to harbor for Brophy Bros. to deliver clam chowder and warm bread. Just got home and missing it already!

Amazing location for a getaway!
This place was perfect for our getaway. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has all the basic necessities. The bathroom was large and there was a small on-suite half-bath in the master bedroom. There wasn't any toiletries available so be sure to pack some or go to the nearby store to pick some up!
The views are amazing and the hot tub is a major plus. We hope to be able to visit again!

Comfortable home overlooking water and hills
We enjoyed a family gathering during Christmas week. Home had lots of room and all the amenities we could want. Hot tub was a big draw. Location was perfect to access so many activities. Would love to return.

Perfect stay for our family
Great property, wonderful for families. Loved the yard for playing outside and dining. The house was well equipped with a pack n play and toys for the kids which was awesome and hot tub for after they went to bed! Perfect location for us, close to mesa plaza, downtown and beaches. We will be back!

Amazing clean house with great views
This is an very clean and beautiful house with nice decor. Peacefully located on the hills but close to top rated restaurant and grocery store. We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful Views, Quiet and Ping Pong
We stayed in this property for several days while returning our son to UC Santa Barbara. The house was comfortable for four of us and our two dogs. There are many hiking trails nearby and we loved spending time at Hendry's beach for some off-leash romping. Essential services are a short drive away and it took us about 20 minutes to drive to campus at non-commute times. The outdoor space at this property is fantastic. We ate most of our meals on the patio, made s'mores over the firepit while enjoying the stars and used the hot tub most evenings. The hands-down highlight for us, however, was the full-size ping pong table at this home. We rolled it to the backyard as soon as we arrived and spent hours playing, having tournaments and laughing together. Genius move for reducing screen time and increasing family bonding! We hope to return soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Santa Barbara. This was a great place to stay with everything we needed. It was close to beach, grocery, restaurants, wine country and trails in the hills.

We are a family of four and found the cottage to be clean, comfortable and peaceful. The area felt very safe and easy drive to the beaches, restaurants, shopping, etc..

Great location with beautiful views.
We stayed for a month and loved every minute. The home is comfortable and has great decor. Mountain views from the living room windows and outdoor patio are stunning. The beaches are only minutes away as is downtown Santa Barbara. The hot tub is wonderfully relaxing. We loved it so much we will be back next year for another month. Lynn is a lovely lady and host. She made us feel very much at home.

Quiet place well located to everything
The property is located in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to any conveniences. The house is well maintained, Lynn is responsive if you need anything. The second bedroom would deserve the possibility to have two twins beds in case you are a familly of 4.
We were a bit concerned by the lack of air conditionning, but despite a very warm weather in Santa Barbara area, it is incredible but the Alta Mesa area is really cooler and you get frech air as soon as you open the windows.
Overall i would recommend this place without hesitation.

Enjoyed our stay!
Loved the views, the cozy house, the breezes. It was a great place to have to come "home" to after a busy day. Well equipped kitchen for cooking in, too. Both kids and adults enjoyed the ping pong, the fire pit, hot tub, and visits from the cats.

Lynn was amazing to deal with! Very responsive and gracious when we had a couple of mishaps, (none home related). The house was as pictured, cozy, well decorated, comfortable and clean. Beautiful natural light throughout the home. Hot tub was nice. We enjoyed visiting with Pebbles the kitty! The location was perfect we were close to State St., minutes to the beach, and close to groceries. We did all the fun things in Santa Barbara: zoo, the Mission, shopping on State St. and great dining. This was the perfect place for our family vacation! Thank you Lynn!

Cute two bedroom that is fully stocked with amenities including a pack and play and a feeding chair for young kids. The home is a little older, but very charming and everything functions just fine. The owner, Lynn, is kind, quick to respond, and great to work with. Nice location in quiet neighborhood, but a quick drive to everything in SB.
