Burgess Creekside Townhome w\/ Balcony, Attached Garage + Wood Burning Fireplace
About this house rental
Nestled in Steamboat Springs, this charming house for £80 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Burgess Creek Townhomes are a hidden gem within close proximity to the ski area (1/2 mile up to Thunderhead lift and 1 mile down to gondola) and downtown. This two-level townhome will pamper you in casual, western comfort. The 1460 square foot bi-level townhome is spacious and contains very comfortable Eddie Bauer furniture. From the deck, dining room, living room and bedrooms, you can watch and listen to the sounds of Burgess Creek. Use trails immediately behind the unit to access ski, snowshoe and mountain bike trails. Bedrooms: 1 King & 1 Queen +1 convertible chair/single for guests. Bathrooms: 1 tub/shower combo with separate vanity area; 2nd bathroom has a walk in (curbed) shower across from queen bedroom. Third bathroom is a powder room (toilet/sink) on the main level. More description: Lower Level The lower level has a primary bedroom with a newer Casper King mattress and a guest room with a queen bed (both with windows facing Burgess Creek) with large closets, 2 full bathrooms and a spacious laundry room. Both bedrooms are very comfortable and light filled for lower level rooms. There's also a single bed pull-out chair which can be placed in either the primary or 2nd bedroom. We provide all bed linens and towels so you can arrive with just your suitcase and cosmetics. The primary bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with separate sink/vanity area and a second large closet for the primary bedroom. The tub/shower combination has updated tile, paint and toilet fixtures. The 2nd bathroom is across from the 2nd bedroom and has an updated shower enclosure, sink and toilet. The full size laundry room with clothes folding area and drying rack is conveniently located near the bedrooms and bathrooms. Main Level: Entry, Powder Room, Storage Closets (2), Living, Dining, Kitchen, Attached Heated Garage The upper level features two entry closets for gear storage and a 1/2 bath/powder room. The spacious living room with a wood burning fireplace also boasts a queen pull-out sofa for guests and new sliding glass doors to the deck overlooking Burgess Creek. Additional sofa and oversized chair make for cozy and spacious entertaining space. The dining room area has a 6 person table and a kitchen/bar area with 4 stools. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and all the gadgets, dishes, pans, glassware that you'll need for a comfortable stay. The townhome boasts an attached one car, heated garage with plenty of room for a car or lots of gear - in addition to a covered (carport) designated parking spot. This is a quiet building of professionals and residents and not a party property. Renters are not allowed to have pets and the HOA (and we) are very strict on that policy. We give priority to longer term rentals and especially during ski season, we typically require 3-6 months. Please note we aren't on the bus line to the ski area nor do we have a hot tub. Heating is baseboard electric heat and for longer term rentals, we bill that each month separately. I'm happy to send past bills to get an idea of the cost but it is very dependent on individual usage. I also have a full inventory for you to see how well stocked it is. Ours is not a fancy condo, but very homey and comfortable and I strive to make your stay fabulous. We don't find our guests exclusively on this site so have many additional references to share. Thanks for considering our condo! Please inquire for longer term rental rates.

The photos do not do this property justice. All the rooms are large with comfortable furniture. Master bed is very comfortable. The unit has everything one needs. The attached garage was convenient to the kitchen. We most enjoyed the patio with the sounds of the creek.

Well maintained, clean, and convenient. Away from the bustle, yet close to everything. The owner/manager was easy to work with.

Awesome place!
We really loved our stay here! Laura was amazing to work with and was very helpful! She even upgraded the master bed from a queen to a king while we were there. The location is amazing with lots of walking trails nearby and just above the little base village with shops and restaurants. The unit has not been updated, so don't expect granite countertops, but it is clean and spacious and comfortable. Really convenient with the attached garage and an additional parking space under the carport.
We would definitely stay here again!!!

We had a wonderful stay in Steamboat at Laura's apartment. All the appropriate amenities, spacious and comfortable. Friendly neighbours and peaceful with a beautiful stream running past the balcony. There are many walks available fromt he property onto the mountain. We had a great time. Laura as a host makes herself available if there are any issues that need addressing. We reccommend her place.

A wonderful retreat space
What a perfect retreat space! I was in Steamboat, by myself, for 9 days as I needed time for reflection and to focus on some work projects. I had a cozy time and felt at home at this lovely condo (I want to come back in the winter). The condo was quiet, very clean, and super close to town, yet it felt like it does when you're deep in the mountains, where it's quiet and settled. Trails were also close by. I had such a sweet trip and wonderful stay here.

I rented this condo for a year. Couldn't have been happier. The interior is clean and comfortable. New carpet and flooring, and the bathrooms were remodeled. You can't hear the neighbors, and there is barely any noise from the road across the creek, just the creek running during spring. The furniture was in great shape. The top floor is an open plan living room to dining room. The kitchen is separated by a bar you can sit at. It's great for socializing. In the fireplace there's a working wood stove with a glass front panel that still gives the feeling of having a fire, plus it heats the place wonderfully. I found it difficult to find a condo with an attached garage, which this place has plus a covered parking spot. The landlord is friendly and easy to deal with. It's not on the bus route, but the ski parking and bus to town is not far down the road. The view is of the small creek valley. It's not sweeping view, but it's scenic and green. I saw moose and bear from the patio. Plus you're not looking at other buildings, and no one is looking in at you. I would definitely recommend this property. I only left because I moved out of town.

I stayed in this great creek side condo in July 2017 and January 2016. It is super clean, very well stocked and the owner is extremely responsive. In the winter there is a great fireplace which makes the living room so cozy. In the summer, it’s great to hear and see the babbling Burgess Creek right outside both bedroom windows and from the balcony. The bedrooms are spacious and have a ton of closet space for storage (much more than what we needed). The location is away from all the tourist traffic and is a quite and peaceful getaway. You really can’t go wrong with this town home - winter or summer.

I completed a BIG item on my bucket list - being a ski bum for a season. My adult daughter and I spent 5 full months in the condo during the 2014/2015 winter season, and had a great time. Condo is really well appointed, clean, very livable and we felt at home after just a few days. The property manager is easy to work with and accommodating. The location is beautiful, peaceful and off the beaten path, so you don't get rowdy crowds during the holidays. The drive on Burgess Creek Road in the winter can be tricky. I ended up buying winter tires with my AWD SUV to get up and down the road. My daughter's Prius had all-season tires and she needed chains a few times during the winter.

My husband and I headed up to the mountains to celebrate his birthday and found this little gem to stay at. Since I owned a housecleaning company for over a decade, I was wildly impressed with the level of cleanliness inside the property, so much so I felt compelled to write a review. While we were there we cooked up a storm in a very nice kitchen, and on one of the rainy days started up a fire in the fire place. The deck offered lovely afternoon light and a great place to have a glass of wine. Everything in the condo worked well and we will be going back for certain! p.s. We did have a fabulous autumn day on the ski mountain playing their disk golf course. Highly recommend.
