Great apartment, really nothing missing, all was there and great location.
Missing elevator, you need walk to walk the stairs.

Beautiful property, excellent location
The club downstairs was very busy on Friday and Saturday night. We didn't hear anything from our apartment but there were lineups of people every night after 10pm making it hard for us to get in and out of our place since they share an entrance.

The rooms were clean with working appliances.
No elevator makes the climb up to the 5th floor tiring.
No bedding was provided for the pull out sofa.
The air conditioning remote control was difficult to understand and operate without instructions.
The exhaust vent in the washroom was again difficult to operate, so was the shower. It needed an explanatory video to operate.
The bed on the main level made squeaky noise and did not seem sturdy enough.

Location was great. Pharmacy which is actually supermarket is almost next door, as well as Concordia University. Nice downtown area.
Room was clean, just a few places can be cleaned better (like floor in the corner of fold out bed), but it is tricky place.
Communication with host was quick and easy. Host provided baby cot and baby chair, which was nice. We traveled with baby, so, to have access to kitchen and washer was crucial.
We stayed for a week and shower was semi-broken all this time (it was impossible to change temperature of the water, it is not unbearable, but unpleasant). Room was not as big as expected (in reservation it was 60 m^2, but I don't think it was anything close). Some furniture, like fold out bed, were dated. Renovation in the room was done with significant expenses cuts: holes in the walls were just covered, but walls were not repainted, same with window sills... Table was unmovable and way too close to the bench, it was impossible to sit there. We asked for additional hours (4), and answer was that they either could provide us 1 or we should pay for a full additional day, so, we had to change tickets to earlier time. All in all, Le Downtown Central is not so much cheaper then hotel as they try to cut expenses.
