You can also walk through beautiful Drake Park along the Deschutes River to the Historical Downtown in about ten minutes. The front deck is a delightful spot to enjoy morning coffee, or retreat to the back deck for a quiet spot under the large canopy of trees. This home features: ● Two private bedrooms, one private bathroom ● First bedroom has a king bed ● Second bedroom has a queen bed ● Hall bathroom with tub/shower combination ● Sunken family room with flat screen Smart TV and gas fireplace ● Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking at home ● Coffee bar with whole bean coffee, grinder, sugar, non-dairy creamer, tea ● Living room / sitting area off of kitchen ● Private office with desk and additional sofa sleeper ● Free high speed wireless internet ● Central AC/heating throughout the home ● Washer and dryer ● Family features: pack n play and high chair ● Private hot tub on deck with outdoor dining table ● Fully fenced nature-scaped backyard and tall shade trees ● Front yard with grassy lawn and traditional porch ● Outdoor propane BBQ (seasonal, Memorial Day - Labor Day) ● Two cruiser bikes (seasonal, Memorial Day - Labor Day) The large living areas are what make this home perfect for big groups or longer stays. The dining room, living room and fully equipped kitchen are all open concept, making relaxing together fun. For a two bedroom, one bathroom place, this house LIVES LARGE. The Cumberland House offers all the conveniences of home matched with all the amenities that travelers hope for. This is a private, standalone house exclusively for guest use. The house, grounds, hot tub, and parking area are unshared. We have complete contactless check-in for the convenience and safety of our guests. **This property also has a one bedroom, one bathroom standalone cottage adjacent to The Cumberland House that can be rented alone or in conjunction with the big house. This is great for larger families traveling together that want to be close yet have some privacy as well. Ask us about our discounts for booking both places for that memorable family vacation! All towels, linens and bedding are included. We also leave guests a small amount of starter supplies including: toilet paper, paper towels, dish and laundry soaps, hand soaps, bath soap, shampoo, and coffee bar items mentioned above. We also provide blow dryers, iron and ironing board. Please plan accordingly to bring anything else you may wish to have with you on your trip. Note: Guests who book this home will be required to sign an auxiliary rental packet with specific rules and information included, such as neighborhood quiet hours, check in and out time restrictions, and non-smoking policies. If you are traveling with a pet, you will also need to sign a copy of our pet rules. --- **Our cancellation policies that you agree to at the time of booking are in effect even during a pandemic, winter travel season, summer wildfire season, etc. We highly recommend researching and purchasing third party Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) trip insurance for any unforeseen circumstances that may arise that may require you to cancel or postpone your reservation, especially those related to COVID-19 closures and restrictions.

House is very clean and in great shape. Location is perfect. House felt more spacious than than anticipated. The office with the loveseat sleeper couch was very handy and really acts like a small third bedroom. Property manager Erin was great. Easy communications. Would rent it again.

Darling, unique home in a perfect location for us. Walked to Old Mill, downtown, along the river. Hosts provided a very comfortable, cozy home, with clear information about how to work everything plus tourist info. More than enough parking. If there was one more bathroom the place would be perfect. As a historical home though, it's easy to see why there is only one. Would work well for a family of four, even so. Additionally, my daughter was surprising me for my birthday by decorating the door with balloons and streamers and signs and the home manager came by to check that the house was ready; she was super kind to my daughter (who feared she might be in trouble).

This house was great not only for the location but also the space. We had a slight issue with the only shower and Erin was able to seamlessly move us into another property within walking distance. Great Bend House!
Really enjoyed our stay at Cumberland House. The location was perfect. We could walk to breweries, coffee shops, shave ice, restaurants, shopping. Short bike ride away from Old Mill shopping area. We felt like we were in the middle of it all. The house was all that you need in Bend - basic and super clean. Property manager was great. Highly recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. From the hot tub to the king size bed, everything was comfortable and a home away from home.
We were able to walk to both the Old Mill district and local breweries in the west side with other destinations a short bike ride away. The dog park being close by was also great.
Definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Bend.

Not very clean! Dead bugs in the windows,old sheets,hair on the floor,baseboard dirty!
Great location but this home hasn’t been deep cleaned and freshened up for a long time. Dirty blankets old sheets, dish towels and pot holders dirty! For the price and reviews I was expecting much nicer. I washed all the blankets so I could get a good night sleep.

Perfect for a family vacation
We loved our stay at the Cumberland house. It had everything we needed for our small children (pack and play, high chair, toys!) and for us (well-stocked kitchen, hot tub, washer and dryer). Plus we could walk to all of our favorite places in Bend. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Bend over the Memorial Day weekend. This cute little house had everything we needed. Plenty of room for the 5 of us, hot tub, bikes, and when they say a fully stocked kitchen they mean it. From pots and pans, utensils, plastic wrap, and spices. So impressive. House was very clean and easy to keep clean.

Amazing house in a great location, loved our first visit to Bend.
The property was great, I really liked the layout of the house. Our daughter loved the park that was right down the street. The house was fully stocked so we were able to have a couple dinners there instead of eating out every night. The baby gate was great so we didn't have to worry about our daughter running up and down the stairs to the family room. Hot tub in the backyard was amazing, used it once after our kid was put to bed, very relaxing. Can't wait to stay here again.

The Cumberland House was perfect for a long getaway. Not only was it in the perfect location (close to restaurants, shops, parks, etc) but the home is in great shape. It comes with everything you could possibly need during your stay, short or long. Will return again!
