Had a wonderful two weeks at this roomy, comfortable cabin in a private location, very convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park. Loved waking up to a view of Long's Peak, and sitting on the deck enjoying the sunshine in the afternoons.

Great location a few minutes from the park entrance and town. Saw deer and elk in yard several days. Plenty of space.

We just left after 5 days of relaxing fun with five adults and 2 children. Well stocked kitchen and cooked most meals there. Check out the pantries and cabinets before you go to the grocery store. Beds were comfortable and the cabin was spotless. The huge deck was great for hummingbird watching as well as seeing deer walk right through the yard. The kids had fun exploring in the large yard and trees were perfect for the hammock we brought. Owner was communicative and helpful. Thank you Kim for your hospitality.

We were in Estes Park to explore Rocky Mountain National Park and this was a perfect home base for our group. We had 6 adults and 2 children and this was a good size for us while also being affordable. And literally 5 minutes away from the RMNP gate which let us spend more time in nature and less time in a car.
It had all the basics but then there were also these very helpful touches like tissues in every room, hairdryer for each bathroom, hiking carrier for children, so many toys for the kids, a plethora of blankets, humidifiers, good info on the surrounding area etc…It felt like the owners really cared about their guests.
Fully stocked kitchen including children’s utensils and bowls!
Everyone in our group commented on how comfy the beds were.
We made very good use of the horseshoe court! Pretty incredible being able to play out there with a fantastic view of Long’s Peak and the sound of the Big Thompson river near by.
We were thankful to be shielded from the hustle and bustle of Estes Park downtown but still a 5 minute drive to groceries and restaurants.
Only downside was the Wi-Fi desperately needs to be upgraded. Had to use phone data to access internet.
Despite that, I would definitely rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Had a great time at the house. Plenty of room for a set of grandparents, 2 young married couples and a 2 and 3 year old!
Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of space to hang out together inside and on the deck. Appreciated the toys and table and chairs for the kids. Enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at the feeder on the deck!
Also a great location for getting into the park and into town and just hanging out.

Family vacation
Absolutely the best location hands down for coming and going into Estes Park and RMNP. House was exactly as it is in pictures and when they say fully stocked they mean fully stocked ranging from condiments to toiletries. We saw so much wildlife right outside on the deck. Saw a family of elk with the baby nursing , and deer. Will be planning out next trip again. Thanks for allowing us to use your home for the week.

Wonderful, Beautiful, Cozy
Such a great place to stay. Beautiful views from the deck. The deck was a perfect extension of the living space. This house is located away from the tourist hustle of Estes Park yet so close to everything. The house is comfy-cozy and the kitchen is well equipped. The beds were pretty comfy for a home away from home. We used the grill almost every night and avoided the crowed restaurants. The two living/family rooms were perfect to spread out in for a big group. The washer and dryer were clean and great. We used the wood fireplace on two cool nights. It was such a treat. There were many games of horse shoes. Who knew that would be such fun for the family. We also gathered around the large table and played games. The animals passing by the windows were amazing. We even hiked right from the house. If I ever come back to Estes park with a group I would absolutely rent this place again. The driveway up was rough but kinda of fun and part of the adventure. Beware of the busy main grocery store. The staff was overwhelmed. I have never waited in such long lines. Maybe try to go in morning while tourist are in the woods. Yikes!. Also great pizza at Antonio’s Real NY pizza. I accepted all of my family’s kudos for picking out this wonderful VBRO. Highest recommendation.

Beautiful spot, comfortable home
We had such a nice time here! The beds were really comfortable, and we slept great after long days of hiking in RMNP. The layout of the house was perfect for us - the upstairs living room and downstairs family room gave us room to spread out and gave our young adults their own space. We had some fun horseshoe tournaments, made good use of the huge collection of family games, enjoyed sunrises and rainbows from the deck, and cooked great meals in the well-stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Estes Adventure
The property is conveniently located close to town (grocery, shopping, liquor, etc) and is also close to RMNP park entrance. We went on amazing hikes during the day and then were able to easily dine at some wonderful local restaurants or grill back at the house.

Fun Family Time!
This house and the property served our family's needs perfectly! Even though the house has neighboring homes very nearby and isn't remote, it's still very quiet and has a feeling of seclusion which is what our family desires when we vacation in/near the mountains. When you're at the home, you truly have the feeling that it's secluded but yet it's only minutes to shopping and dining so you get the best of both worlds. :) We felt like this was home away from home.
The house is laid-out very well with 4 bedrooms (2 upstairs, 2 downstairs) and 2 bathrooms (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs), and it comfortably accommodated my husband and I along with our 3 adult "kids" and son in law. We made use of the entire home and especially enjoyed the living room area with the cozy fireplace as well as the deck where we spent a great deal of time sipping coffee and enjoying the mountain views and wildlife. From the deck, we saw elk and mule deer on multiple occasions. During our stay, the elk were in rut so when we'd sit on the deck, you could hear them "calling".
The only little bitty negative thing was that the neighbor's dogs barked at us briefly a couple of times, but the dogs' owners were very quick to calm them and call them indoors. Even though we live on quite a bit of acreage and aren't used to that, it was not a deterrent for us! We'd love to come back and stay again!! :)...only stay LONGER next time!
