Come relax in this newer home situated in the middle of Surf Pines, a quiet, beachfront community on the North Oregon Coast. The 2,800 sq ft house features 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and sleeps 10 +guests with plenty of room to spare. From the large elevated deck and hot tub you will enjoy listening to the nearby waves crash and watching the numerous deer and elk feeding on nearby grass. Take a short walk down one of the communities private trails to beautiful Sunset beach which offers miles of beach combing, kite flying, boogie boarding and bonfires while watching the sun set over the Pacific. The house's central location puts you within 15 minutes of Downtown Seaside, Gearhart, Astoria and numerous beaches. For the outdoor enthusiast Sunset beach offers fantastic clamming and nearby seaside and nehalem bay offer a chance to catch tasty Dungeness crabs. Public golf courses, kayaking and miles of hiking and bike riding opportunities are all within a short drive. The house features a fully equipped kitchen, wifi internet, flat screen televisions, and cable for all the amenities of home. Parking is available for boat trailers and/or rv's and house is kid friendly with a pack and play, baby gates and high chair. Overall, the house was a nice place for us to stay centrally in the Seaside-Astoria area. It was unseasonably warm for the first day of our stay and the house had little airflow with no cooling solutions, especially with no breeze which was problematic for our group as the house was 78 degrees that night and made sleeping hard.
Other than that, it housed our group of 10 well with adequate spaces for everyone to have their own spot and privacy. The walk to the beach was also nice and a fun way to spend the evening.

The house was great for 4 guys fishing trip. It was very clean, large and the amenities were as advertised. We will definitely try to stay here on future trips.

The place was nice, spacious, and in a great location! A short walk to the beach, and lots of wildlife to see, especially early mornings. The local breakfast place (The Nest) at the corner of Sunset Beach and Lewis rd quickly became our favorite. Friendly people, great coffee, delicious food.
Only stressful part was making sure we staggered showers to not overwhelm the septic system.

The house is nice, but definitely isn't "newer." The patio furniture is in the final stages of rusting out, the stairs to up to the back deck have missing support boards, and the overall condition is "aging" with a LOT of emphasis on not overwhelming the septic system (signs in bathrooms, by the sink, etc). The kitchen has a random assortment of things, but all starting to show age. The can opener doesn't spin when you turn the handle, the (only) big cooking pot has a BIG bulge in the bottom making boiling water a long-term project, the toaster warms eventually and browns on one side of the bread only, etc. When we checked in, one patio chair was collapsed from rust, there was a hole in the kids-bedroom door, some window screens are missing, blinds don't close all the way due to broken pull-cords, and the paint is chipped and scuffed throughout. The community is gated and there are a LOT of speed bumps, but the neighbors seem friendly and it's close to the beach (though you just barely CAN'T see the ocean from the house because it is behind a 1/4 mile wide sand dune.

We enjoyed the house for the weekend. It was clean, spacious and well kept. The kitchen was well stocked w/ pots / pans / dishes / spices. There are 11 of us and we all had room to hang out, play games and even have some private times if needed. Overall, a good house to rent for a family gathering.

We had a great trip! As a group of 9, this house was absolutely perfect for us! They had everything we needed to cook for a big group and it was an amazing location with a short walk to the coast. We take annual trips with family and this was the perfect location for us to meet up. We visited all the local breweries and attractions. Seaside and Astoria are very close. Thank you for a great trip!

House was as advertised, found everything we needed for a great weekend stay. Lots of room to hang out and sleep. Hot tub was a nice bonus. Clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

The only thing is the gate by hot tub needs fixed and the back of house could look more finished off if below deck was fixed up.

We loved our stay. Tons of space for our party of 11. Lots of living space to hang out. Large kitchen. Kids loved seeing the deer everyday. Only downside was not knowing they had a septic tank. So we had to be careful how many showers we took in a row, which was inconvenient at times.

The home owner was awesome at communicating. The house was perfect for us and the hot tub was amazing after a cooler day at the beach. Would recommend this home and plan to stay again. It was a beautiful vacation spot.

The house was good. You had to walk through the neighborhood to get to the beach, but it wasn’t too bad. The house was roomy and in a nice neighborhood. There was plenty of parking and an extra fridge in the garage. The bbq sucked and when we showed up the trash was full and there was trash in the back yard from the previous guests. Checkin was a little clunky I didn’t hear from the owner until day of checkin and he had my name wrong and our checkin checkout dates wrong in the message but they were correct on the reservation so it didn’t really matter. Otherwise it was good though. We would stay there again if we had a large group. The house was clean. Overall it was a good experience.

Wonderful large kitchen! Could have used some in between sized pots but I always bring one that works for our size of group. I also bring a can opener and sharp knives. Leather furniture was flaking and needs removed. House was pretty bare bones but very functional and clean. The pads on the beds were comfortable but either were sliding off the beds, we’re not big people either or the sheets wouldn’t stay on properly. Run on sentence lol!

Nice place for family gatherings with plenty of space to spread out. Great kitchen has nice fridge/freezer and good-sized eating counter. Parking for up to 4 vehicles with ease. Quiet community setting with not too much traffic and walking trails to beach.

June 13 - 18, 2022! First family vacation in a very long time. Our whole family had one of the most fantastic times we’ve had in quite some time. Great location! Seaside, Cannon Beach, Astoria, Long Beach, and other attractions were within short driving distances. Beaches were easily accessible…beach front property 😊. House and property were very well equipped with basically everything you needed. Couldn’t get the toddlers safety gates to work, so we were extra careful watching them when around the stairs. There were enough adult eyes watching, so not as huge problem. Great hosts…very accommodating. Answered all of our questions, prior to and after arrival. Thanks!😊The chartered fishing trip on the Salty Dog was incredible! Everyone caught their limits of rock fish and a few were lucky enough to catch some ling cod which was an added bonus! Clamming on Sunset beach was awesome. Grandkids and great grandkids thoroughly loved everything, especially the hot tub. Lots of toys, games, puzzles for everyone to enjoy while relaxing in the evening. Lots of precious memories were made here. Too short! Definitely could have stayed a few days longer to see more sights. Maybe next time. Would definitely recommend this house for a large group. Just wish we could of had our other five family members stay as well. The house could easily accommodate a few more. They had to stay in an Air B&B in Seaside. Not far from us so that was great. All in all, everything was perfect. Would do this all over again in a heartbeat😍 Thanks again!

Very nice for a medium size group
The bedrooms were large with abundant bunk beds for the kids to camp out at night with their cousins. Plenty of rooms and space for different groups to mingle and co-mingle. The kitchen was well appointed with cooking tools and lots of serving plates and eating utensils to use. The dishwasher and clothes washer worked well and everything we needed was available to use. We had a one year old child who was protected from the stairs with a baby gate to lock him in the upper area. We used the provided barbecue but did not have a chance to use the hot tub. We had over people staying with us and a couple of other of other families rent their own places and came to visit during the day.We ended up with a great family reunion.

Nice home, comfortable, easy communication with owner, clean, comfy & well stocked kitchen, fans for every bedroom.
Suggestions for better stay would be newer/better pillows & blankets. There was a storm, which caused us to lose power & so we could of used better blankets & flashlights/emergency lights.
Hot tub was over powered with to much chlorine, so unfortunately we did not use it like we wanted. Neighborhood not friendly to VHR, which I understand. We would stay again!

This home away from home was set up for a large group. Lots of space! Very quiet neighborhood. Deer viewing 24/7! Lots of birds to watch. You could hear the ocean (and spring frogs) at night. Hot tub was a time machine! Clean, quiet and uncluttered!

Great house for a group
We had a wonderful time over spring break with a group of teens. They took the downstairs and we took the upstairs. It was fun to hear their laughter and movies at night but I will say since there is no sound barrier between the 3 TV areas, I'm super glad I brought headphones so I could watch my own stuff at night. The furniture was comfortable (albeit a bit worn) and we were super glad to find the kitchen so well stocked. And my husband LOVED having the hot tub! Thank you & we plan to come back.

Placed perfectly between Astoria and seaside with tons to do and eat. The place is clean. It is really set up for kids, pack and play, high chair, baby gates. The hot tub is great. Communication was good. Good beach access nearby

Short drive to either Seaside or Astoria. Good location for kids (bikes, beach) and large enough for a decent group. Lot's of space to spread out inside the house. Overall, great!
Some updating could be done for a few pieces of furniture (looks like in process now) and kitchen items, but completely functional and nothing missing. Did not use the grill, but it was functional.
If we decide to stay in the area again, we'll definitely consider coming back.

My Family had so much fun at this beautiful clean well stocked home. They even had a Christmas tree set up for us. We all had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend this house.

Best place we stayed at !
This house is huge ! Kitchen was perfect . Bathrooms are nicely put . Lots of beds ! Great view !!!!! Even had a chance to see the elk up close. Great experience . Will book again no doubt .
