OLD FASHION HOTEL - you pay for the location not for the stay

Location was 2 min by walk distance from the office and it is in a very central and expensive area Breakfast included hot drinks and fresh eggs made at the moment

Old fashion hotel Small room I expected something more from the cleaness

Good value and excellent service. Would love to go again

Booked a family room, really nice service since reception. Been shown a map in the city and have staff to assist for luggage! Liked the balcony and used the swimming facilities. Sparkling clean

Hôtel à l'emplacement idéal pour un séjour agréable à Barcelone

L'emplacement dans le quartier de l'Eixample permet d'accéder rapidement au centre ville à pied où en vélo. La chambre était propre et les lits très confortables. Le personnel s'est montré accueillant, à l'écoute et disponible.

Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen!

Das Zimmer hat alles was man für eine Reise in Barcelona brauchen könnte. Das Zimmer beinhaltet ein Bett, Schreibtisch, Kasten, Safe und ein Badezimmer inkl. Regendusche & Badewanne. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, man kann alles gut von der Metro-Station "Diagonal" aus erreichen. Das Personal ist auch sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Der Fön im Bad war eher alt und hat nicht mehr funktioniert. Nach Nachfrage haben wir einen anderen Fön bekommen. Die Zimmer sind sehr dunkel, da wenig Lichteinfall möglich ist.

Hotel świetnie zlokalizowany, blisko centrum. Czysto, personel bardzo miły i pomocny.

Mogłaby być podawana na przywitanie woda w pokojach.

RETENCIÓN POR VALOR RESERVA

La habitación amplia

En ningúna parte de la reserva te avisa que con la tarjeta de crédito te retiene el valor d ela reserva al 95%en mi caso 108€ a pesar de cuando haya llegado al hotel haya pagado el importe completo de la reserva, al preguntar de manera peyorativo el recepcionista de la tarde nos dijo que era política del hotel sin más explicación. Antes de marchar volvimos a comentar y recién en ese moemnto nos efectuaron la devolución del importe retenido. El la primera vez en los años que viajo y son muchos que me. Encuentro con esta situación y más sin previo aviso ni comunicacion. Es una pena porque por. Negocios me venía estupendo.. No volveremos.

We had a great stay, location was great, lots of great restaurants and sights close by.

Beautiful hotel, artwork was great, staff were friendly, room was great.

Pool was tiny, and there was often no where to sit around the pool, as it was so crowded. Shower configuration was very odd and awkward to use. We chose not to include breakfast as it was so expensive compared to other hotels. Tried to go to the lovely bar a couple of times, and it was not attended.

Great hotel in BCN

The room is great, it was big and very comfortable, especially the beds (amazing bedding). I love the hotel's decoration with its vintage vibes. And of course the pool, which saved us in this crazy weather.

Nothing, I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

Good

They say that you should hang up the towels if you want to use them again. But they gave us all new towels every day. I try my best to save water and be environmentally responsible so this is very disappointing. They gave us about 6 new towels everyday even if we wanted to reuse them.

The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Barcelona, the staff is nice and the rooftop is perfect to start the day. Thanks to the hotel for accepting the last minute cancelation of 2/3 of our stay : we highly appreciate this flexibility. 100% recommended!

Good 3 star hotel, excellent positioned, good breakfast

Position of the hotel is great, good 3 star hotel with very good breakfast and good service. At site you can find a permanent Ricard Opisso exibition. Hotel is close to metro station Diagonal and part of the important atractions (Casa Batlo, Casa Milo La Pedrera.

Room window towards an inner pit, old bathroom that needs to be upgraded. Sound insulation is not too great and you can hear when pepole from next room are using the shower. Bath tub drain was not working great and we had to ask them to clean it.

Best family room for the value ever!

We have two older children (13 and 17) and I often have trouble finding a family room that offers what we need. I.e. space, storage, privacy, comfort, facilities for 4 people - plenty of hangers, hooks, sockets etc. This room had it all! Twin beds for the kids in one room, a king size bed for us in the other room, both separated by sliding doors and the space in between served as a washroom with mirrors, storage, closet. From this space a door led to the shower and toilet. The beds were extremely comfortable, the master bedroom had very large closets. Among other things we had an amazing terrace overlooking the street and city leading from the kids room. The rooms were modern and practical. The hotel itself had beautiful interiors and also a terrace with a small swimming pool on the roof. The access to the hotel was amazing - located right in the center of the tourist zone.

I recommend this hotel. Good location, everything is within walking distance, near the metro and bus stop. Wonderful and cozy interior. Staff is friendly. Rooms are cleaned daily and cleaning was so good. Towels are changed daily. Very comfortable bed and pillows were chic, there were 7 of them:)) so cool! We enjoyed our holiday and time spent at the hotel. Thank you.

Poor soundproofing. In the neighboring rooms you could hear singing or someone sneezing and so on ;)) We woke up in the morning because the staff starts cleaning, all sounds are very audible. 2) internet free for seven days and very slow. Work was difficult.

Loved it, sleept well. Wery Comftable

nice and quiet room because it faced the back. Remember to ask for a room not facing the noisy street!. the beds very comfortable. Really friendly staff in all service parts the hotel. good atmosphere. pool on the roof was a hit with the 11-year-old daughter.

Superb

What we liked about hotel - well almost everything, since we didn't expect the 3 start hotel to be that clean, that comfy and well equipped (full bath tub, bide, king size bed...). The location is perfect because most attractions are in less than half hour walk, and metro, buses etc are very close to it. Also, 5 minutes walk from there you can catch all tourist bus lines.

What we didn't like about hotel - The fact that hotel staff didn't let go my reservation money on credit card until the very last day possible (15 days from reservation), and we were told that it would happen the same day or day after. Very unprofessional, ruined the entire experience with amazing hotel.

Nice staff- helped when needed, comfortable beds, classy vibe

Small pool compared to what you’d expect. Had noise from the street at night, and got woken up by drilling noises in one of the mornings.

Beautiful peaceful hotel

The calm and peace, amazing comfy beds, cotton fresh bedding..soft towels,

There was no tea and coffee making facilities in room... And breakfast was £18 each per morning so we didn't have that as ridiculously expensive...
