Vriendelijk personeel altijd beschikbaar
Bed was te zacht, beetje gehorig

Beds were well spaced and the bathroom was fine for 3 people to share. Both windows opened which was great in the evenings to cool the room while we slept. Had a nice view over the city roofs.
25 min walk to the main city (including free boat across the river) which was manageable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The beds were very hard (common in Europe it seems but not for us from NZ). There was no lift and the stairs are very steep, which is a bit of a battle when you're on the top floor with luggage.

It was just outside Amsterdam, 5 min walk to free ferry into city centre!

The location was good, I just had to cross the river with the ferry (free).
Friendly staff.
Very worn-out rooms, the mattress was very dented on one side, I could slide to the floor if not careful. The shower wasn't leveled, so the water pooled around the edges and didn't go down the drain. Very small sink, I would wet all the floors while washing my face.
I understand that rooms in Amsterdam are very expensive, but this one was too expensive for the quality of the room you're getting.
Also the doors on the rooms and hallway slammed very loudly, and there were people arriving all through the night, which kept waking me up.

Location was really good, 5 mins walking and boat and you are near station
You have to give the key to the doorman every time you go out

Good value for Amsterdam. Close to the city in a quiet area with shops around (grocery store, cafeteria, small restaurants with good prices)
Nice room
A bit cold at night, heating was off. Narrow stairs to upper floor in case you need to carry suitcases.

Location
The shower did not work - it was either freezing or burning since the mechanism was broken. I was told by the person working there - "you have hot and cold water" - so he was basically telling me to sponge bath myself which I did as I had no choice and did not have time to find a new hotel. Never been treated this way in my 40 years of travel.

Location was great for visiting Amsterdam and it was a more reasonable price than most properties.
Room on the 4th floor with no lift and steep narrow stairs.

Excellent quiet location with very friendly local community
Nothing

I appreciated the ease of checking in and out, the clean and modern room, and the lack of hassle coming and going.
I have leg issues so i wasn't too happy being moved to the top floor, but i know stuff happens and things change. There was also an odd uneven step at the very top of the stairs we both kept tripping over. These are both small things, though.

Great location, especially if like us, you take the car. Plenty of on-street parking. Quiet neighbourhood, 5 mins walk from the 24 hour free ferry that takes you directly to Amsterdam Central Station.

I like the staff so helpful so kind people and the location was great ,
To go to Amsterdam central you have to take the boat every 3 min 24h ,,, walking to the boat place in 5 min, the hotel wasn't that big but so elegant and beautiful view from the rooms with balcony , very valuable 🤍

Quiet area
Cold room. No catering facilities except vending machines. Only 3 TV channels. Not a hotel, a guest house really

Excellent service for its relatively low price.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. One of his colleagues provided us with a spare heater in the room as it was cold and my father gets cold easily. 24h reception is very convenient. The tables downstairs make for a nice place to sit and work. A very quiet neighbourhood and that suited us just fine.
The only thing was that one morning we asked for the room to be cleaned and found later when we came back that it hadn't been. I assume that this was simply due to the individual on the desk at the time being slightly careless - not a major issue. An affordable hotel with a nice family feel.
