This hotel is perfectly located. You can access to the principal tourist attraction (Sagrada, Batllo, Ramblas) by walk (between 15 to 30min). I don't know about transport but I guess you have some close to the hotel.
For the room, you can have some with only women or not and there is lockers for each bed.
If you check-in before 15h they can keep you stuff in a secure place (perfect for travelers)
The bathroom was not really good (toilet not functioning, no dry space for the clothes in the shower)

The location is great! The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The room was clean, although empty, just two beds and a bin. For an overnight stay the location is great. The shower was one for three rooms and you could use showers throughout the hostel. The shower was clean, although a bit old. I'd go back
One of the 4 times we went to shower, there was no hot water

The hostel is relatively close to the main attractions. The staff is friendly, you can leave things at the Reception after check-out, if the check-out is in the evening. And this is the cheapest hostel in Barcelona). Suitable for those who come to spend the night, no more, wash, charge the phone and sleep.
The room has only central lighting and the room itself is quite dark. If you arrive at night, you will have to wake up all the neighbors to get things. There is a socket near the bed, there is no shelf where to put the phone, you will sleep on the cable from the phone that charges me) It is very far from the sea, you can only go by bus, otherwise you will wipe your legs. There is no kettle in the kitchen, water for tea will have to be heated in the microwave.

It was an affordable bed with accessible kitchen.
There was no social vibe and no events to assist with this. The bathrooms had mold. The common space was not very used.
5.0
The location, and maybe the price (passable if you take into account Barcelona's average prices)
Mattrass was hardly comfortable. There was only one single toilet, and hardly the cleanest one, for way too many people in the area, which led to very long waiting times.

location
the lock of the room was not working. There is also a time for the reception and it opens late so not very much convenient for those who leaves early if they have questions

The location is very good. The staff was ok, they helped me when i told them the outlet near my bed didn’t work, they gave me another bed, and verified the rest of them, maybe to try to repair the ones that didn’t work.
Didn’t have enough locks to buy one, the bathroom didn’t have space in the shower cabin to keep your things, it was very small, plus it had some mold, but somehow clean the rest on the rest of the bathroom.

location, staff, use of kitchen were great. the NOISE from people ringing the doorbell at all hours and the front door slamming was horrible. But, I’d be back; just would stay not on the first floor by the door.
Loud from people entering and ringing bell at all hours.
Room was small so if there is a disgusting smelling person it’s hard to escape that. but I slept on the couch in the common area haha

Location. The kitchen space was cute.
Super tiny room that almost only fits the stackable beds. Overused blankets. Uncomfortable mattresses from overuse. Quite old facilities that don't look very clean.

The facilities are the same as shown in the photos, it is clean and has pleasant social spaces. The rooms are separated by men and women and each bed has its socket to charge your cell phone and locker as well (bring your own lock). I would stay here again :D
The rooms are a bit small and if several carry a large suitcase it is difficult to accommodate. Some of the staff are unfriendly.

cheap and close to almost everything
some people I share the room with and the showers were not so clean

Great front of house staff, easy check in. Fun decor. Fantastic location!
Not the cleanest. one day was cold showers, one shower cubicle upstairs didn’t lock, didn’t look like they’d been deep cleaned for a while.
We also had a much older lady in our room who had a terrible cough and wheeze the whole way through our stay, she wasn’t wearing a mask and seemed to not care about spreading her germs.

Nothing at all
Communication it's terrible. They say they have late check in, we tried by email and WhatsApp but in the end no one was there and no way to get in, 1AM and we were stuck outside. long story short - The worst Hostel ever!
The rooms don't lock, the room was dirty with hair and some suspicious fluids in the bed, mold in the ventilation, super small rooms some without window!
The bathroom full of mold, dirty, no dry place for you to change, the light has a timer so you take your bath in the dark or waving like a crazy.
The kitchen its not full equipped, there's not forks and all the stuff you actually need to cook.
We where in there for 4 days and only saw the receptionist once.
Drunk people inside, you feel super unsecured because the kitchen its in a basement and there's no one to ask for help (we actually had a situation with a guy in the morning, he was sleeping in the stairs and was disturbing us).
I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot, but run away from this place.
