About this house rental
Located in Denver, this charming house for £130 per night is a great option for your next break. Welcome to our cozy ~100 -year-old home! The space you will have to yourself is our basement with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette/laundry, private bathroom and a spacious living room. The unit has its own private entrance secured with a keyless deadbolt. These areas are not shared with us, but we do occupy the main floor of the home. As to be expected with older homes, sounds, creaks, footsteps, voices or laughter may be heard by all. If you are looking for absolute privacy this might not be the best place for you. We are very respectful of our guest's privacy and we will not directly interact with you during your stay. That being said, we are thrilled to welcome you and your companions to our home! We have included basic amenities for you to feel at home. We are well-located just 10 minutes away from downtown Denver and 1.7 miles away from one of the main highways to drive straight into the mountains for outdoor activities and incredible ski resorts during the winter! Huston Lake Park is only one block away and it has a beautiful scenic view of the mountains for you to enjoy! PETS: We consider our home "pet friendly", meaning that your 4 legged friends are welcome to stay with us (PLEASE SEE HOUSE RULES). Please note that we do not provide pet crate, care, toys, treats, secured backyard, etc. As such, we kindly ask our guests to please DO NOT LEAVE PETS UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME (It is the guest responsibility to care for their own pets. Please take into consideration that we are providing accessories such as lamps, speakers, etc. for the guest's comfort which may be damaged by pets. If any item is missing or damaged a claimed will be filed through the website). PLEASE BRING A PET CRATE: PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE BEDS, COUCHES OR FURNITURE. Please be respectful of our future guests :) PARTIES POLICY: We welcome the noise of friends and family get togethers while vacationing. Respectfully we ask that you to keep the number of people staying limited to the number indicated on the reservation, and additional visitors to only a few, as we do not allow parties in the property. We ascended on the property like vultures, all 10 of us! We found plenty of sleeping area, the couch was super comfy and slept 2. The private room was claimed by my son and girlfriend who got there several hours ahead of the rest of us. Wr had planned on cooking, but never did
There was enough parking for 2 vehicle. There are scooter and electric bike rentals with Lime a few blocks away and plenty of dining within walking distancs. It is in an area called Little Saigon so mostly Vietnamese food nearby. The only downside was only one bathroom, limited cooking space and the futon was uncomfortable.

we stay one night but hwas perfect. barbecue in the garden. perfect location and atmosphere. And clean we are really happy. I asked the owner some stuff for the barbecue and he says that was not a problem. We also had some friend for the barbecue. The owner came to check and was all ok for him and for us! Thank u a lot!

This property was perfect for staying for our granddaughter’s college graduation. It was conveniently located and had everything we needed. Damon was so very nice when he came to reset the Google assistant. Everyone was able to relax and rest!

Very clean and cute cozy space to stay!! Truthfully we expected a bit more room & physical bedrooms but it worked out and was perfect for an intimate sized bachelorette party !!! Super friendly & fairly communicative host who sets all expectations and processes ahead of time and is willing to accommodate if a request is made. Hosts were outside the property quite a bit, which threw us off guard a bit. Overall great stay!

The owners were thoughtful and kind and the property is super cool! There was enough room for everyone in our party to have their own bed and it felt like a giant sleepover. We loved the place and would stay there again.

Mariel's place is spacious and welcoming to accommodate a lot of people. There are some steep stairs going down into the basement sleeping level that I did not know about which was a little difficult for one of the guests. Overall, everything was very nice. Would definitely stay there again :)

The hosts are outstanding and will make sure you have everything you need. The space is thoughtfully updated with plenty of sleeping arrangements for a big family. The beds are extremely comfortable, one of the most comfortable I have seen in a rental property in a long time and they stock lots of bedding and towels to suit your needs. The location has easy access to Denver and Boulder metro areas making it perfect.

Had a great stay! Very centrally located and convenient for getting to most attractions. The back yard is amazing and our pup loved smelling each and every crevice. Mariel and Damon are great hosts and people! We will definitely be back!🙂

The house is very nice and is in a quite neighborhood. Easy access to the interstate and downtown. The hosts have done a great job of providing instructions and signage and the communication was very good.

We needed a place for a large group and close to Denver. This rental was so spacious with a huge living room / bathroom on ground level and bedrooms / kitchen/laundry/ small sitting area downstairs. It was a pretty quiet street after dark. There is a window a/c unit in the main living room and fans in the basement. You may want to pack a nightlight if you don’t like to sleep in complete darkness. Beds were comfy and the waterfall shower was amazing.

Mariel and Damon were fabulous hosts. The home was a great size with a fabulous outdoor space especially because we had ours dogs. The grills were awesome. Had a family of 8 with two visitors and we did all our meals here with the electric griddle, one burner, rice cooker microwave and small fig(with using coolers) Loved the heated toilet in the morning and the showers was wonderful. Couldn’t recommend it more and with a daughter in Denver we are already looking to book another stay.

The VRBO was fine for us. We really just slept there. The place is a basement apartment with the general living area upstairs, everything felt kind of damp, like you get in a basement. The only issue is that the bathroom required going upsstairs, so with aging adults it was quite difficult in the middle of the night. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were very nice and even took my aunt to the airport.

This was the perfect spot for our family of 9 to be together in Denver. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful to accomodate parking for our three vehicles and also to let us know our grandson forgot his bunny and offer to make arrangements to get it back to him. The appt was spacious, clean, and private. Everyone had a great night's sleep in comfy beds and quiet surroundings. There is also a big back yard to enjoy. We were so happy to find a VRBO that suited our needs so well. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

The place was amazing. Beautiful lounge area with lots of glass for viewing the backyard, which is a magnificent, peaceful oasis. Lots of space for relaxing outside. There were plenty of places to sleep and all the amenities anyone could need. I would absolutely stay here again.
The only possible negative is that the lounge -living room seems to share open and curtained windows with the main house, which I can only assume allows any noises or conversation to possibly be shared with the main house pretty easily.

We really enjoyed our stay here in Denver and the owners Mariel and Damon are SUPER nice and friendly and helpful. They even called us right after we left letting us know our daughter's favorite stuffie was left behind (which we would not have known until it was too late!!) The space was great, well decorated and furnished. The kitchen is not really a full kitchen (no range and oven readily available) so I wouldn't plan on cooking if that is something you really need. But there is laundry available right in the unit which was super helpful for us. The beds were comfortable and fit our needs. We would recommend this place.
