Restore yourself after a long day of hiking, skiing, hunting, fishing, ziplining, rafting, or snowshoeing by sprawling out in bed and watching the wall-mounted TV. When you’re not up for dining out, you can prepare simple meals or reheat take-out in the microwave and eat at the spacious dining island with a built-in sink and cabinetry. A compact refrigerator and coffee maker also come in handy. The bathroom provides a hot shower after a rigorous hike before you head out for the local restaurants. Working while traveling? You’ll appreciate the comfortable desk and chair, ready to serve as your workspace. Traveling in summer? A ceiling fan and wall-mounted air conditioner will contribute to your comfort. You will have privacy and access to the entire house using your special code given upon booking. Front door has a digital smart lock. The Neighborhood: Your private getaway is located in Old Colorado City, a National Historic District and one of Colorado Springs’ most desirable neighborhoods. It’s one of two major hubs in the Springs for great eats, drinks, and cultural attractions. The other is Downtown, just a 7-minute drive by car. Enjoy award-winning restaurants and cafes, breweries, wine bars, lounges, museums, theaters, and much more. The most notable detail of this location is its amazing proximity to The Garden of The Gods Visitor & Nature Center, where ancient rock formations tower overhead at 300 feet – just 2 minutes away! Outdoor types will also appreciate the proximity to Red Rock Canyon Open Space (2 minutes), Bear Creek Regional Park East (6 minutes), Cheyenne Cañon Park (13 minutes), and Pike’s Peak -- also known as “America’s Mountain” -- reaching over 14,000 feet into the clouds (15 minutes). Getting Around: We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation. Other Things to Note: AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in. -We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP. -The bathroom only offers the shower. The bathtub convertor is disabled. -This is shared with a multi unit property with other vacation rentals and small businesses. -Parking is limited to one spot per unit. There is limited overflow parking in the back so we don't recommend more than 2 vehicles per unit. -There is a Mini Split unit controlled by remote to adjust the thermostat or level of heating and air inside the unit. -Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking. -Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area. -The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out! 🐶Dog Policy: -This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance! * Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check-in. No other animals are permitted unless they are Certified service animals. There are no charges for service animals. Locations of all Security Cameras: 1. Ring Doorbell Cameras on the corner of the building facing all the front doors. 2. Ring Doorbell Camera on the back corner of the property facing the walk way. It is on and operating. This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests: - NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop. - We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc. - Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay. - We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early. Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver: - Instead of charging a security deposit, we charge a non-refundable damage waiver fee (See Rental Agreement for a detailed breakdown of our guest fees) that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they may be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager. Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL. **By completing the reservation you agree to the following** I agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions. AC unit didn’t work properly so room was hot, bed was uncomfortable, pillows were worse, and the front door never felt like it closed or opened properly. And cell service was nonexistent only worked spottily on wi fi.

The room was beautiful. The location not great if you need to park anything larger than a Kia Soul. If you are over 6' the bed is not going to work, not a true Queen bed. If you like temps below 77 degrees - don't plan on getting cooler. Great room for a single person with a compact car and who likes it warm. I had asked about parking concerns prior to visiting - no one mentioned the one way out of the parking would be closed so you have no choice but to back out onto a busy road. The alley to the overflow parking is very small - mirrors in please if you have anything larger than a Kia Soul. If two SUVs are in the lot, you may not get out without a ding.

We could see outside from under the door. On very loud highway. Didn’t sleep well. Advertised as queen but the bed is a full size and not big enough for me and husband. We opted to stay in a local hotel the last two nights of our booking. Unit was clean.
