Cedar Springs Cabin Unwind in this new custom-built cabin with lovingly crafted artistic woodwork created mostly from timber harvested on the property. While rustic, the Cedar Springs Cabin has everything you want for your Mt Hood vacation including a modern kitchen with stainless appliances and a gas cooktop, an easy-to-use gas fireplace, a private hot tub, awesome views of Mother Nature, and a secluded setting next to the Mt Hood National Forest. The vaulted great room with walls of windows brings the forest and wildlife into view. Get cozy by the gas rock fireplace or gather around the outside firepit warming your hands and reliving the day’s adventures exploring Mt Hood. The backyard-covered patio is perfect for any time of year to sit with a glass of wine and a good book that is if you are not distracted by the scenery. End the day with a soothing soak in the private, outdoor hot tub. Everyone in your group will appreciate spending time together while cooking meals, watching TV, or playing board games in the spacious great room that is open to the kitchen and dining area that leads out to the back patio. What an incredible place. So clean, and spacious! You are surrounded only by woods. It’s quiet and peaceful. They have thought of everything-hot tub, outdoor fire pit with wood, beautiful fireplace, large dining table, etc. Kitchen was well stocked. We travel all of the time and this place is top notch!

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend getaway. The cabin was comfortable, clean and quiet.
One thing I would recommend is to have a few staples available to make things a bit more convenient. Such as coffee and cooking oil.

I hate to leave a bad review here. But, I have no other recourse, as I have tried multiple times to contact Meredith Lodging (the 3rd party rental company), and VRBO to resolve the issues I had during my 2 night stay. I was super jazzed to come to this cabin mainly because I was bringing my kiddos who have food allergies and we were there to celebrate a birthday. I needed a place where I could cook meals, which this place advertised. We arrived there on Friday 1/27. A couple hours after we arrived, the teens went for a soak in the hot tub while I made dinner. Well..that was the plan anyway. I preheated the oven to cook dinner. And, as it seemed the oven was set to preheat, the kids came back to report the hot tub was too cold. It was supposed to be 102 degrees upon arrival. The power button did nothing for us. So, I called the local management team who suggested checking the electrical panel. That seemed to ‘work.’ But, the hot tub never got hotter than about 80 degrees for the remainder of our stay. When I complained about it, all they could say was it may take a couple hours to heat.
I then put dinner in the oven to cook, and set the timer for 30 minutes. It’s now about 7pm. When the timer beeped, I took our food out of the oven to find it hadn’t cooked one bit!!!! So, I called again, and they sent someone to come ‘fix’ the oven. This person took apart the entire oven all over the kitchen floor. And, after an hour, they said they didn’t know how to fix the problem, and th

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was appropriately decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. Definitely lives up to its reviews and rating on Vrbo.

We fell in love with this cabin as soon as we arrived. It’s much better in real life than pictures. The cabin is super clean, warm, cozy, spacious, beautiful, has everything you need. The location is perfect & completely private & quiet. There are several easy & beautiful hiking trails nearby. There are a few cozy & authentic restaurants in the area, some you can walk to. I just wish we had one more day, as two days were not enough to enjoy the serenity of this cabin. We won’t look for another place if we visit the area again!

As you pull up to the cabin it's a pleasant surprise. It's very nice and on enough property to feel alone. Parking is good for a few vehicles. Close enough to town to run down and grab pizza. Hot tub is in a great location. The cabin is very nice. We would stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the cabin has a nice layout and felt very easy to relax in. It’s still quite light dispight being in the forest as it has lovely big windows and a high ceiling. The gas fire has real flames so it still felt cozy in the evening with a touch of a button.
The hot tub is in a great spot looking out to the trees tho one of the jets didn’t work so well at the time of our stay.
Over all a lovely spot and would defiantly go back again.

This cabin was the perfect cozy retreat for my husband’s birthday weekend. We went with another couple and this cabin is perfectly appointed for 2 couples to be quite comfortable. There is even more space if someone doesn’t mind sleeping in an open loft, but it certainly isn’t necessary. For 2 couples it had lots of privacy.
We really enjoyed the scenery as well. You’re somewhat near the road, but far enough away that you can’t hear any road noise. We didn’t get too see any wildlife while we were there, but I really enjoyed sitting on the couch and looking at the scenery with my cup of tea.
The hot tub was an additional plus. The perfect temperature for those cold evenings! The cabin had all of the kitchen supplies you could hope for and was very well appointed. The only complaint I had was that I wished there was a dresser or closet for guests to use in the main floor bedroom. I am someone that dislikes living out of a suitcase even for a few days and there was limited space for us to put our clothes in that bedroom. Otherwise, this cabin was perfect! We would definitely stay here again.
