Very good location, close to Downtown Manhattan, subway stations, groceries, friendly staff. The area is at the border of Little Italy/Chinatown and the less prestigious Alphabet city so you will definitely see substance abusers and trash. Good thing the closest subway station is only 5 min walk. Enjoy!

So glad to have found this gem! Nothing fancy, but it was clean, comfortable, had a little kitchen and was in a great location- just a stone's throw from Little Italy, Chinatown, East Village. Very friendly staff. Hope to make it back soon.

Always a warm greeting. Its nice to have a full kitchen. The place runs very hot in the winter and you will have to open the windows. Great location.

1hour away from Time square if walking...if not? The subway station 5 minutes away . Mix income neighborhood, low income housing few minutes away. Target and whole foods 10-15 minutes away. Check in time 2pm, we arrived 6:30am wasn't allowed to check in. Refrigerator inside suite was kinda musky, dirty.

This property is converted apartments, which translated into a surprisingly large space with an efficiency kitchen/dining area and living room, a bathroom, and a smallish bedroom with two twin beds. The place was spotless and the wood floors were shiny and seemed recently refinished. We ended up paying a premium for New Year's Eve Friday, $370 for the night; regular rate is half this and would be a very good deal indeed by NYC standards. Only two complaints: "parking," mentioned on the webpage, cost $55/night and was a six-block walk. If you're driving, this probably isn't your place. Also, although the kitchen had a small coffee machine, no coffee set-ups were provided, nor was there coffee (much less breakfast!) downstairs. Management could easily provide in-room coffee set-ups for a couple of bucks a night. Apart from these two things, the room was excellent.

Everyone that works there is very nice! The place could have been cleaned a bit better before we arrived, but overall it was perfect for the needs of my stay. Great location too! Thank you for having us!

Check in was great. Tvs need to be updated, i was granted a late check out which i very much appreciated because it helped me greatly. I get a call at 11:50 with the front desk person telling me it's time to go rudely. I explained i was granted an extra hlf hr which again i was thankful for but he continued to act like i didn't until i went down to the desk and showed him the email verifying that i didn't have to leave yet. Night and day difference from the nice treatment from the overnight person who checked me in and the rudeness from the morning person.

Very nice place to stay and friendly staff, clean rooms. Shared bathroom was with one other room only. And there was even a kitchenette to use.

The staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient to subway a few blocks away. The neighborhood is vibrant (can be a little noisy.) Everything was clean if just a little wonky as is the case with older buildings. Lovely lounge area in front. Clean.

Good value. Economy room with shared bath was small but impeccably clean. While it's small it feels kind of cute and cozy - like one of those old NYC apartments in a prewar walkup; there is a certain charm in that. No frills of course but no complaints whatsoever. Expect commotion on the street into late hours. If this is the neighborhood you want to stay in, maybe traveling solo and not coming to get pampered, just need a comfy place to crash, then excellent value - I'd stay again!

Partly very friendly staff, suite was clean and could be heated (good thing, as it was chilly outside). Good as starting point. Many restaurants around.

For a place in Manhattan, it was really spacious and the setup of the suite with one kitchen/living room (with a sleeping sofa) and a seperate bedroom with two beds was really good.
We enjoyed our stay and it was practical to have a kitchen, so we could prepare our own breakfast. The seating area with bar stools was also a nice touch.
All in all, we were pleased with our stay, also the bathroom, even though feeling a bit old, was suprisingly large and had plenty of storage space.

The property was in a ghetto area with lots of homeless , drunks , trash everywhere , graffiti . This was skid row in downtown L.A. not width paying over 200 for this. I never been in an room where I had to share another room with guest and had to share the same bathroom which I had to step outside my room to use. I really felt very unsafe and did not sleep all night left the room at 4 am. This this of hotel shouldn’t be part of the choice hotels that Expedia has

I suppose we got what we paid for. It’s NY and NY is ridiculously expensive. It was a great area to be but the property was pretty old, dreary and noisy and internet was slow and intermittent. I think our expectations were too high for the amount we paid.

We had a nice stay. Staff were really friendly.

Great location but overall disappointing.
The main reason we booked this was it offered a ‘full kitchen’ which we require to cater to our children’s dietary needs. The full kitchen indeed had an oven, however no oven trays, only one pot and was generally in poor condition. The metal stove circles were inexplicably hanging off the light in the kitchen! So we ended up living on what we could cook in the microwave instead. Also no tea towels and no plug for the kitchen sink.
The water pressure was not great in the shower and the first time we used it the tap wouldn’t turn off so we had to get this fixed by the staff.

The staff was very friendly and the check-in was easy. It seemed like a good value for the money. The linens could have been nicer, but that's my only complaint! Would stay again.

The front desk staff that I dealt with was excellent. We had the small suite, and it was small but had a large, shared bathroom and a small kitchen which is great if you are there for a while and was going to be cooking. The accommodation was simple but very clean. The area surrounding is a little sketchy but had a great bar/restaurant next to it and was close to great restaurants and the subway. Definitely recommend for anyone travelling to New York!

Taking into account that the prices to stay in NYC are really high, between 300 to 700 per night, paying 130 per night was pretty good since I had a short budget. The staff was pretty nice all the time but the facilities were not the best; the room was dusty and the bed smelled like the sheets had been kept in a closet for a really long time; the tv didn’t work since the signal was really bad and the iron was broken. It is located near Chinatown and Little Italy so you have access to those touristic areas really easily but because of it being near Chinatown and near a bar it is so noise at night and it’s really dirty, a lot of homeless people near the hotel and sometimes you feel really insecure because the area seems and looks insecure and although I didn’t have any bad experience in the area, it’s just was I perceived. One thing that I really like is that this hotel is kinda like in the middle of everything so is really convenient, everything is like 20 minutes away or less from the hotel by subway while in other hotels there are things that are near but other that are really far away. Finally if you are going by car and need parking, It is not 35 dollars per night as advertised, it is 55 dollar per night. In conclusion the hotel is not the best, the facilities and the surrounding areas are not the best but the price and it’s convenient location makes it a good option for people that are going to NYC on a short budget, if you can expend more find a better hotel in midtown.

Great location and perfect for a quick trip. Not a super star as far as amenities, but definitely worth it. The nicest staff ever !

The hotel is very old, the rooms are spartan, the beds small and uncomfortable with threadbare bedding. The unit had a shared bathroom. Wiring is archaic.

Good location if you want to be near Soho shops and restaurants. Area is dark at night and a little noisy. Check in was quick and staff is welcoming.
