I was in NYC for a week for a business trip.The hotel was perfect for everythng I neded. It was clean, the statt was friendly and helpful and whenever I needed something, they were right there to assist me. I would receommend this hotel to snyome looking for a moderate price, extrememly well kept hotel in Tirbeca

The rooms here are tiny, so be prepared. But the room was very clean, and comfortable. And the bathroom was very nice. The hotel is pretty, in a great location, and right above a subway. And the price is perfect. I had a small issue with the heater being very noisy, but honestly I discovered it too late for the hotel to even offer a solution. Overall, a great stay for me.

Room was small, but clean and bed comfortable. Fridge had to be provided on my request, not really room for it. I have no complain. Breakfast provided extensive. Great neighborhood and convenient to much. Would have liked more Light and space.

The room was small which was fine, but the walls were not insulated well. I heard people coming and going all night. The sheets were rough as well.

The staff was always friendly and helpful. The hotel is very old, but nicely updated. Access to the subway is 1 minute away which made it easy to get to uptown and a lot of the sights. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. Easy walk to the 911 memorial.

This was our first time staying in Tribeca area. The Frederick was a great find and would consider staying again. Room was small but comfortable and clean. The breakfast spread was excellent. I would have appreciated the second elevator to be working although we were on the top floor and were able to get on with plenty of room. After breakfast on the day we were checking out, we couldn't get in our room. We had to go back to the front desk and have our keys re-activated. It wasn't clear what the "facility fee" was for except maybe a couple bottles of water. And the taxes that get added on are crazy - State Tax, City Tax, Occupancy Tax, Javits Tax. No way to avoid them but beware.

I really like the location of the Frederick hotel. It is centrally located in Tribeca. However, the hotel only has one (1) elevator in operation and that one (1) elevator is very slow. Patrons are better off taking the stairs. Also, the Peloton bike in the workout room is not calibrated correctly. The Watts (output) are recording too low. Peloton needs to service the bike.

Would stay here again! Will upgrade to a bigger room next time, regular room is super small. Also the bar was closed for private events each night so that was a disappointment. Staff was super nice.

Nice location for the purpose of our trip, beautiful design and very friendly staff. The room was small for 500 buck; I think our bed was smaller than the promised queen size, breakfast was average, one elevator didn’t work. Shower water pressure wasn’t great.

Well appointed hotel in a convenient location. We booked a small room which was a bit tight with our big suitcases, however it was comfortable and done out really nicely, the bathroom in particular was great! Staf were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was much better than we had expected. And wine hour was a lovely bonus!

Great hotel in a perfect Location. Very walkable. 20 minutes walk to Little Italy, 5 to the memorial and Brooklyn Bridge. Has a swanky bar and Serafina. Also loved Smyth bar next door. Friendly staff. I liked the big shower.

Great location. Very nice building. Room was in great shape. Cons: the queen room was very small; the shower head was a rainfall type with poor water pressure. It was difficult to wash my legs.

I love the Frederick and have stayed here three times already since August (I travel a lot!). The staff is absolutely superb - I don't think I've encountered a friendlier staff in NYC! Breakfast is basic, continental, but the chocolate croissants are good! The bar is really cute and foyer is nice with gorgeous bouquets. The rooms I've stayed in are a bit on the small side, but they are very clean and the beds are comfortable with no noise issues at all. I will definitely come back as the Frederick is my top choice for a hotel in NYC!

Really enjoyed the location and the hotel vibe. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Hotel bar was great, with some creative offerings. Might want to improve the offerings at the continental breakfast.

This was a great place to stay. Took off one star because only one elevator was working when I stayed there. Also, no free water or coffee in my room. Maybe this is standard for NYC hotels. Not sure. Finally, you can hear hallway conversations and bustling, but it wasn't too bothersome. Overall, minor inconveniences and a great hotel option. Loved that it was right next to an express subway stop, too.

Hotel is very nice, staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but this is expected for an older building in New York. Bathrooms looks like they had been re-fitted recently abd were very nice. Room was air conditioned. My only complaints would be the wi-fi was flakey and the breakfast was mostly high sugar items.

Stayed here to be close to my daughter's apartment in Tribeca. As this is my first time in this area, I was truly googling for the best and safest location I can find by googlemapping and it turned out to be the best location of all I researched. It's in a great safe location of Tribeca. I would even walk late at night at 11pm and still tons of people I would blend in walking with them for safety walking home. Never did I feel unsafe. Great staff, clean room,LARGE bathroom and a great restaurant downstairs and Starbucks too! This is my go to place each time I visit my daughter.
