Everything was fantastic. The room was incredible, the service was impeccable, the breakfast was superb, and the location was outstanding. I can't say enough about this hotel. 10 out of 10!!!!

Even though the hotel is outdated, the matresses, both on the king size bed and the sofa-bed are uncomfortable, and the shower head had no pressure whatsoever, we had a very good family time over there. The staff is helpful and amazing, especially Daize, who took really good care of us. Breakfast team is super efficient and friendly. The buffet had something new every morning. It's extremely well located, walking distance to the CN Tower/Ripley's aquarium and there are many restaurants in the neighborhood. The indoor pool was perfect for our kids and us parents, the flat screen tv was giant and had many options of streaming channels. The kitchen in our bedroom had all the utensils we needed and the fridge was big enough to store all our leftovers and drinks. Front desk was comprehensive of our situation and agreed to give us a late check-out. We enjoyed our time in Toronto, primarily because this hotel was perfect for our needs.

Great hotel! Comfortable bed, very clean. Enjoyed the option to stream on the television. Breakfast was tasty and varied, impressive options at coffee bar. Appreciate that you are seated by a host at breakfast so it’s not chaotic. Wonderful location for exploring the city!

Centraly located and close to the Union Station. Confortable bed and nice pillows. I didn't try breakfast. It was very busy, long line up.

The hotel was in a great location to the CN tower and aquarium. Walking distance to stadiums. Breakfast was really good quality. Elevators were an issue several times in the trip with them breaking or needing maintenance time. Lots of people trying to "tailgate" on the elevators due to needing a room key to access your floor. Made for some uncomfortable situations with other guests. Parking was way too expensive, but was able to find close surface lots with reasonable overnight rates.

Room was spacious, clean and had plenty of features (hotplate, fridge, dishwasher, microwave) that made our stay very easy. All staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel amenities (pool, gym) were well-maintained, the included breakfast had something for everyone. Great location, too. We will come back, hopefully for a longer visit!

The Residence Inn by Marriott is in an excellent location in the Entertainment district in Toronto, close to shopping, entertainment, and plenty of great restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and the fitness room, pool, and included hot breakfast buffet are top notch amenities. Our studio King suite was amazing! A full kitchen with full sized fridge, a two-burner stove top, microwave, toaster, kettle, single-serve coffee maker, and a dishwasher (!!). Also all the plates, cutlery, dish soap and cleaning supplies, bowls, pots and pans, and knives were there for use. This room was huge, with a King sized bed, a two room bathroom (sink and mirror just outside of the area with the toilet and tub/shower), a full sized sofa bed in the spacious sitting area, small breakfast table, large TV on a "lazy susan" topped dresser so it can swivel to be watched in bed or on the sofa, and a desk for a computer work space. Lots of lighting and outlets for the things we plug in, as well as plenty of closet and drawer space for garments. All of this at similar cost to a simple King bed room at other hotels in this general vicinity. Given all the extra space, amenities, and included breakfast, we will stay at the Residence Inn from now on when we are in this area!

I stayed at the Residence Inn for two weeks and it felt like home! The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. The room was a studio with a kitchen and it was nicely furnished, seemed like recently renovated with a new 55” TV. Absolutely loved everything about the hotel and the location is perfect. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

Location was good, that was about it, they were polite receiving us but extremely rude checking us out. We were in town for an event. The hotel room is dated. The room was cold I tried several times to open and close the window with the latches but the breeze lessened a bit but the seal is ruined I mentioned it. Along with the bed is hard as a rock.. I like a firm bed, but dang. Toilet took minimum 3 to 4 min to stop running after each flush sometimes more. The tub is 1970 shallow no bath happening here. Left side of the closet.. Nope not hanging any close on that side. Door wouldn't slide. The first night thought we might grab a hot tub. That might have been nice if we could actually have the had water levels go below our chest. As well as have water be more than Luke warm. The tub up there was brutal and so old. Not to mention going in and out my husband slipped on their floor tiles are super slippery.. Not what you want around a pool areas. Just walking. We were disappointed being there for a mini getaway that hotel could careless either. When the manager was told about the concerns he basically looked at me like I had two heads. Alright. We'll we won't be staying at a Marriott again. We travel plenty. The early eighties called they'd like their decor back. At least update being downtown. So you can justify paying the price you charge.

Excellent response from hotel, with email requests for any special requirements (we had none). Staff were very friendly and check-in. No problems. Main lobby is a bit cramped. Oh well. Rooms were excellent and very generous in size. Everything was clean and well kept.

Our familyvif 5 liked that it was wasy walking to great restaurants like PAI and the lakeshore and TIFF cinema. The 2 bedroom suite was spaciois and well laid out.

Everything was great! It was great they had several gluten free options and the food selections all around was awesome! It was great they had a small bar to order a drink. The staff was so helpful navigating the city and offering great restaurants to try!

The hotel is very handy for events in downtown Toronto (e.g. Scotiabank Arena) within walking distance. Check-in was easy. Our room was great, very clean, comfortable and well appointed for our overnight need. I was concerned that one phone in our room always rang busy trying to call reception, or housekeeping. The second bedside phone did not have dial tone. There is a phone beside the elevator on our floor (20) and it did not work at all either. This should be looked into for safety concerns. The included breakfast was good but the eating area was very tightly packed with tables and post-COVID, we did not want to be sitting close to large groups of people. If there was a better option for taking food back to our room (such as take-away recyclable containers not plates, glassware) we would have opted to pick up and take back to our room

Valet service was outstanding. The english gentleman (valet) was outstanding. Oh i can not forget about the bartender. He was so helpful amazing service. Keep up the wonderful work. These 2 gentleman would be the reason for our return and recommendations to friends and family.

Loved that breakfast was included! It was a busy place for breakfast time, but we could take our food to our room. They upgraded us to a suite when checking in, which was amazing. The concierge was very helpful in telling us about an underground parking lot around the corner that was cost effective. Loved our stay!

We consider this a find in downtown Toronto. It is conveniently located, reasonably priced (based on prevailing hotel rates) provides a good variety at breakfast (though hot items were all cold - something needs to be done about this) and our front-desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. All this meant for a good stay and we will certainly return.

Good stay. Comfortable room. Nice staff. Decent hot breakfast included. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Close to the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, Hockey HOF and Scotiabank Arena. Lots of ride sharing in DT Toronto also.
