Very accommodating staff. perfectly located within the heart of the city.

Very comfortable room, loved the location at the old port. Easy walk to metro station. Location right on St Paul central to all things at Old Port . Was visiting during off season, so it was quiet …prob a lot crowded/ busy during summer .

Vieux Port is simply amazing and Hotel Epik is siituated in the heart. Authentic "Vieux Port" vibe and the most incredible personal and informed service. For a small property they offer so much and expertly. Absolutely love Hotel Epik and this may be my new "go to" in downtown Montreal.

This is a lovely boutique hotel. It has a fantastic staff who effortlessly slip between French and English depending on their clients.
It's a well managed, professional and friendly place. The staff provided a unique and surpisingly customized continental breakfast which is a huge step up from the bland continental breakfasts you might find elsewhere.
If you can't walk up a couple of flights of stairs, then you should probably consider another place. But chances are if you are walking around old Montreal, then you likely won't have any problem handling a staircase that ultimately takes you to a lovely room.
Great value for money. Highly recommended.

The location of this hotel was ideal. We walked to absolutely everything! The neighborhood had the best sights, museums, eateries of all kinds, and shopping. Beautiful hotel, definitely worth it!

Clean and great place, super friendly staff and great location. In the heart of the old port and many dining options within walking distance.
One and only thing: soundproofing could be a bit better but understandable considering the age of the building. Overall, excellent experience and stay

Nice property. Close to everything.

Cozy and quaint in Old Montreal. We stayed in the King Suite and loved the preserved architecture and rustic feel of the bedroom balanced perfectly with a fully modern bathroom. Great location - walking distance to restaurants, bars, waterfront, etc. Note there is no elevator but the concierge volunteered to help with bags. Overall a great spot - we will return.

The room was lovely, wonderful rain shower. Staff was friendly and switched beautifully between English and French to accommodate the guests and make them feel welcomed and understood. The continental breakfast was wonderful and such a surprise. Each table had their own individual basket containing quality items. We almost skipped the breakfast, expecting a buffet of sweet pastries. We are so glad we did not skip it. It really sealed our plan to return to this hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Épik for New Years was absolutely perfect! The staff were all so lovely and attentive, the location doesn't get better in Old Port, and the breakfast included was very yummy!

Nice location, nice room, nice breakfast. Good experience staying here

For a short stay in Old Montreal - Hotel Epik is a smart choice. Boutique style hotel with large rooms. The lobby needs a renovation (probably less cafe tables and chairs and more soft furnishings) but the rooms fine. For the price, it's a great deal.

Great stay in a very cozy old montreal atmosphere.

beautiful hotel. Staff was not very helpful or friendly. stayed in montreal where staff went above and beyond, it was quite a change from the staff we encountered here.

Lovely property, attentive staff. But it was hard to sleep - it was loud outside and in, and the bed linens made for hot sleeping, but without the sheets you were freezing.

The Epik Hotel is in a very good location for exploring old Montreal. Bed very comfortable, excellent shower. The basket breakfast was less than desirable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with getting around old Montreal. This hotel is probably over priced compared to others in the vicinity and does not look like pictures on Hotels.com

Great location. NIce breakfast. Awesome room. The only negative is the parking situation, which is never good in a big city.

The rooms are lovely and the staff is wonderful. We were disappointed that the bar and restaurant were closed during our stay. But we would come again in a heartbeat!!

Beautiful small boutique hotel. Friendly staff service consistently. No elevator and even with a baby and a stroller it wasn’t too bad. The area around old Montreal is amazing and feels like Europe only at night it can be quite noisy with the bar crowd and cars revving engines in the street (though this is not the hotels fault). Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Ad states the following: Superior Room, 1 Queen Bed
301 sq ft. Room size is closer to half that size unless you add in the washroom then you might get close to 301 sq ft. It felt a little cramped in a the Queen room. Recommend going with the King Room.

I will definitely be staying at Hotel Epik for future trips to Old Montreal. It is a charming little hotel close to everything…great restaurants, art galleries, shopping! Parking is off premises but very easy! We parked for three days and enjoyed walking to everything right from the hotel! Highly recommend this hotel.

This was a very charming hotel in the middle of Old Montreal for a very reasonable price. The room itself was only missing a mini fridge, but that's hardly anything to complain about. The bathroom, and specifically the lighting in the shower was wonderful and really helped me to relax after a long day of walking around the beautiful city.
The staff was super nice and the breakfast, while minimal, was delicious.
If you're looking for a quiet charming place to soak up the culture of old montreal, look no further!

Amazing greeting/service as I walked in late. The lady at the desk was incredibly professional, helpful and so sweet! The room is lovely and the place is quiet despite being steps away from the gorgeous old port - I'm so happy with this hotel choice; highly recommend it!!!
