Room had a VHS player … very dated

Friendly staff. Great location. Walkable to many places. The room was clean and tidy. The only drawback was that the bed mattress was a little soft.

Check and staff were awesome. Room was perfectly fine. The fact that they were willing to keep our bags until we need to leave for the airport on our last day was super helpful!

Overall, we had a good stay here. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. My one gripe is there is no coffee in the room nor the lobby. You have to pay $4.99 for coffee in the attached restaurant and it's not even good coffee. I wouldn't stay here longer than a day or two for that reason. I like to enjoy a cup of coffee while I get dressed.

We loved this hotel for several reasons; the room itself was lovely, comfortable, with a nice view, but the location was the best! We were close to the wharf, aquarium, Quincy Market, Freedom Trail, Paul Revere house, and so many great restaurants. We’d definitely recommend a stay here, loved it!

The hotel is conveniently located next to the subway station and walking distance from downtown.
The building is old and looks beautiful from the outside, but is not very comfortable inside.
I had an atrium “view” room, which actually is a window to the elevator. The room was spacious and clean, but it felt like you are in a bunker.
I would not stay to this hotel again.
The room reservation said is coming with a bottle of vine, that I never received.

No gym. No pantry. Room smelled like paint when I walked in. Bonus points for free lemon ice water dispenser upon entry but I will not be staying here again. Comfortable bed tho

We had a great stay. We stayed in the basement it was clean and nice. but there were some smells in the main areas that smelled like sewer. But the room was very clean and service was awesome. will go back.

Location is great but this no frills hotel was overpriced for what it was. The floors are uneven and doors and windows need to be replaced (curtains moved with the wind with the windows shut). No coffee maker in the room. Parking garage is down the street and no valet. Expected nicer finishes and basic amenities for the price.

This is our preferred hotel when visiting Boston. Always clean and a great location for what we like to do.

We loved the room. It was very quiet, clean, and modern. Best price for the location. I would stay there again with my wife and 2 kids.

This hotel is not a four star hotel at all, at the best a three star hotel. The bed uncomfortable and small windows, despite we had booked the best rooms at this hotel inclusive a bottle of wine, which we didn’t get. Good it was only for one night.

Wonderful location for exploring downtown Boston and very convenient for the Convention Centre which is a short taxi ride away. Clean comfortable rooms and a very comfortable bed…highly recommend this hotel

It is an excellent location and good facility. Service was effective, helpful and friendly.

As stated in many reviews, there isn't a microwave or the ability to make coffee in the room. Management should reconsider as this is a standard convenience in most hotels today. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city and accessing transit. The front staff was excellent as was housekeeping. The room was comfortable and spacious. We'd stay again next time we visit Boston!

It was a great location, and I knew it going in that I had an internal facing room, so no view of the outside. Only complaint would be that in a five night stay we only had maid service after the first night.

i had a great stay, however, the lights in my room were very dim. There was also no fan in the bathroom which I thought eas odd.

Nice welcome. Enjoyed the restaurant off the lobby for dinner and breakfast. Great location. Near Quincy Market, North End and the airport. Third stay this year,

Hotel staff members are professional and friendly. We can request the house keeping service every day, the service is perfect. Hotel location is very convenient.
Room facilities are old fashioned and keeping clean. The light in shower room was broken and the air conditioner in room was noisy on sleeping.
3.0
It was basically a windowless room in the interior of the hotel. There was a window that faced the interior of the hotel, but you could not open it unless you wanted every person getting out of the elevator to have a view into your room. Only off-site parking with no in-and-out privileges.

Parties and functions in the bar in the hotel every night for non guests, the restrooms for the bar were downstairs in basement beside our room. One night when we came out of lift to go to our room there was 3 woman outside the restroom getting changed to go to the party in bar upstairs, They were standing in full view of everyone getting changed, you could also hear noise at all hours of drunk people coming up and down to use restrooms then wondering through the hall way. Some of the staff at front desk were very nice but some were very rude. Good location and room was clean and pleasant but would not stay here again due to the parties in the bar and the people wondering around the hotel making it feel unsafe.

Really great hotel, right next to a Subway stop (Aquarium). Friendly, helpful team of staff - quiet, warm, comfortable and a good spacious room. Quirky design vibe to the place which I liked a lot

Lovely hotel, great central location. Great friendly staff, and a nice bar off reception. T rail station right outside door. Highly recommend A++

Really unique, conveniently located. quiet and clean. The room was nice clean and comfortable. It was a nice weekend with my husband. There was never noise or busy common areas. Intimate unique experience.

Really great staff! Treated us very well. Upgraded us when we arrived at no cost because they could.

Room is large, comfortable in clean. Only complaint is that it seems dark in the room. Since the window opens to an inner shaft there was not much sun available. Great locations for Quincy Market, Aquarium, restaurants and airport.

Price taken into consideration this was my worst hotel experience in several years. Breakfast was so poor and unhealthy that I ended going to the adjacent 7-Eleven to have a cup of more decent coffee and an apple. No cleaning of the room during my 3 day stay. Location was only positive.

Good location. Two stops by subway to Logan Airport.

Loved our stay here, comfortable room, excellent location, great view. A kettle in the room would be excellent, but only a minor gripe. Beds very comfortable and staff super helpful;

Excellent location. Great service. Second time around was better than the first. Recomended!!!

Great stay for a great price. We had some poor weather on our trip and it was nice to have access to such a cozy lobby with plenty of space to unwind. One drawback is the parking is off site and not included in the price. We didn’t know what when booking but it’s understandable.

Everything and everyone was great. But just a question/feedback, do you think your lobby or front desk will someday offer more than water & lollipops? Don't get me wrong, always grateful for a complimentary item, especially water. Thank you. But even if hotel guests had to purchase a snack or toothpaste, etc... that would be helpful. Guests won't mind spending money if it's convenience of right there. A lot of the local businesses were closed nearby, even 7-11 was closed at night time. Seems like you have enough space, for a few items & inventory within your lobby. But overall very happy with our stay and customer service. Thank you very much.

This place is a comfortable and cozy boutique hotel that has unique character. I really liked the rooms they were nice with that inviting "you want to stay there" feel with warm lighting and decor. There is pool so if that is important to you, however there is a connected bar for that much need nightcap or fortification for your journey home. This place is just a block away from the Faneuil Marketplace with a massive indoor food court. Well withing walking distance you will find there are lots of surrounding shops, bars, other restaurants and the WARF all at the heart of Boston. If I ever go back to Boston I want to stay here again.

Excellent stay, great service, comfortable, and close to all we wanted to see.
Highly recommend and we will be back.

We arrived in the morning and were able to store our bags and park our car in their recommended lot. Because we were staying only one weekend night, there was no need to use the parking voucher that the hotel offers. The room was quite comfortable, a king sized bed, plenty of lighting, two, 2 drawer night stands, a closet, small round table with two chairs. Large TV, safe and small fridge. Bathroom was equipped with toiletries, plush towels, large sink area to accommodate women’s toiletries. Modern shower stall. ( no tub) All very clean and quiet. Only drawback was no usb outlets so bring your plugin cell phone charger.
There is coffee and water in the lobby. Cell phone USB ports under the long couches. Plenty of seating for hanging out and waiting for friends. Can park at the valet section out front to load/unload your bags. Short walk to the parking garage from the hotel.
Restaurant, Joia, for breakfast. Very good, although the music was too loud for early morning. They have a decent menu eggs, omelets, pancakes or French toast.
We Did not go there for dinner. We walked to the North End (10 minute walk) and ate there. Back at the hotel we had a nightcap in the lounge. Service was good. I would totally recommend this hotel.

Took my daughter to Boston for a concert for her 18th birthday. Hotel was fabulous, artsy and unique, cool and funky but not too expensive, with a great Italian restaurant downstairs (Joia). Two minutes walk from Faneuil Hall where we went the next day for clam chowder. Love being close to the river and a short walk from lots of shopping. Great room with a fab view. Loved it and will stay again in the future!

Great location! Good little find. Unique little hotel with everything you need. I’d recommend higher floors. Occasional street noise and downstairs restaurant has dj.

This place was exactly what we were looking for! Plus the location absolutely could not be beat!
If I had anything mildly negative to say it would be that the neat little restaurant/lounge called Joia (Italian-style food) seemed to turn into a thumping nightclub at night… not the best atmosphere for grabbing a pre-dinner cocktail for me and my husband -who are, I should say, still fairly hip and young (40)- it was too much of a party scene for 20 somethings. Oh well, TONS of great places to eat and drink within walking distance.
