The are is beautiful. The staff were nice . The heater in the bathroom. The shower pressure is as good .
The room needed to be updated. The washcloth had a funny smell to them . The heater was the room was not strong enough to keep the room warm. There was mold in the toilet.

Located next door to a really good small restaurant. Room was clean.
No staff available at evening nor morning.

Staff cleared a parking spot for us when the lot appeared full. Very comfortable beds. Person from the front desk came to the room and fixed the TV when it acted up. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and it was enjoyable to chat with her.
The motel is on a busy street, so a bit noisy. There was quite a bit of noise when some of the 'guests' left very early in the morning.

Super tiny town and therefore most places was within walking distance.
1 word … BEDBUGS!!!!! Woke up covered in bedbug bites when asked to change rooms I was told that they were booked, asked for a refund they said no ended up leaving four days before my checkout day. There was never any parking had to park on the street.

Well, first of all there was no breakfast. The absolute only good thing I can say about this property is that the room was clean, and the lady who was at the front office, although only there sporadically, was friendly and tried to be helpful.
It was an old run down Motel. In all fairness I believe it was the only Motel in that town. But for Booking.com to give it the rating that it did was totally misleading and dishonest. It was so difficult to unlock the door that it was a battle every time I went back to the room. They even gave a different key, which was the same problem. Only a couple of outlets in the room worked, there was not a place to hang clothes, correction, there was a place but no bar and no hangers. No security bar on the door, no GFI breaker in the bathroom ( the sink being about 6 inches from the outlet ). It was noisy late at night and early in the morning due to the fact that there are families that live there. I have never reviewed a Hotel or Motel because I don’t expect perfection. The biggest reason I am this time is because this is the 2nd and last time I’ll use this site. We used it the first time when needing to bookend our cruise with a room. It was a horrible room, so much so that we got another place to stay on our return.

Beautiful town with friendly people, motel didn't look like much but it was very clean and newly renovated inside and comfortable!

The beds were comfortable. The room was clean.
It seemed like there were loud, rowdy guests also staying at the hotel as there was a lot of loud speaking, laughing in the hallway and in the parking lot past 9 PM at night. We could hear others being loud even in their rooms.

The motel was located close to where I conducted our students’ clinicals

Great location
Bed mattresses too soft for my liking.

Heidi's restaurant is a true "Gem". It's very close to the motel so our family could easily meet for breakfast. We've eaten there on previous trips.
The Pines motel has a great location, and we walked to most places.
It was gratifying to see a number of forest fire fighters staying at the motel, and we assumed it was their R&R location. Thank you to The Pines for helping out the fire fighters. The staff were helpful and polite.
The Pines Motel is an older motel and very "tired" looking. It could use an update. A good place to start would be new bedding.

We stopped here as part of a bike packing trip. Had to call the owner as the office manager had surgery and was not in the office. He came right over and got us into our room and the next day drove us to a safe spot to continue on our bike ride.
If you’re looking for a high class hotel this isn’t it. But it was clean. And the owner was accommodating.

Room needs or is schedule for a new floor.

We did not eat/drink anything that was provided at the motel. However, it’s a really kind gesture to have refreshments for guests.
The room was musty smelling and dim. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the pillows were too flat. There were a few stains on the sheets.
