Amazing apartment close to everything

My stay with Bairro Alto Bronze of Art Apartments was amazing. The host was informing me about everything before my arrival: how to get the keys, how to get to the apartment, even got a guide with recommended activities, restaurants, bars, cafes etc... It was easy to communicate with him. The apartment was fully equipped, I didn't miss anything. The wifi worked really well as well.

The only thing if I have to mention something is the noise. The building is old and you can hear if someone is walking upstairs or coming on/going out at the main entrance. And unfortunetly there are few homeless people in the street, but they are not bothering anyone.

Freezing cold and extremely damp room än linens

We arrived at an apartment that was freezing cold och very damp. It was so damp that the linen, the towels, and the carpet were wet. We booked for 3 people. The big bed was good but the so-called bedsofa was horrible. It was beautiful designed as a sofa BUT you couldn't sleep in it. I wrote the host immediately when we arrived, and she answered med 9 hours later. She said that a bedsofa may not be as comfortable as a bed, and she said a housekeeper should check our room about the heat, etc. This did not happen. I tried to reach her a whole day but she didn't come back to me until late at night saying that we could change the room the next day. Since we only had one day left that wasn't an option for us, we had already spent 2 out of 3 nights in the apartment. If they change the bedsofa I think it's a nice apartment in the summer but not in the winter. The host has got good reviews but can't take criticism and was not especially polite. I have worked in the tourist industry and as a hotel manager myself for several years, and I would never treat my guests like this. We have also traveled a lot around the world and we are not picky.

Insgesamt ok

Die Unterkunft bzw das Loft ist wirklich sehr gross

Leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit das Fenster zu öffnen. Es ist eher feucht und die Luft ist nicht gut. Ich denke das liegt aber vorallem an der Winterzeit, wir waren im Januar da.

Ottima posizione in comoda per raggiungere vari punti strategici della città. Supermercato vicino e baretti e ristorantini. Nuno molto disponibile e gentile ci ha dato un sacco di consigli.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit.

Nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Große Küche in der bei der Ausstattung nichts fehlt.

Wenn man selbst kochen möchte sollte man ein paar Gewürze, Salz und Öl mitbringen oder beim Supermarkt kaufen (der ist nur ein paar Meter weiter)

Schön war’s.

Gestaltung, die Raumgestaltung war unaufdringlich . Es war angenehm, dass es neben dem Bett noch durch das großzügige Sofa eine gemütliche Sitzgelegenheit gab.

Durch die Fotos hatten wir eine helle Wohnung in einem oberen Geschoss erwartet, sie liegt allerdings im Souterrain und hat lediglich zwei kleine Fenster zur Straße, die man ausschließlich gekippt öffnen kann. Eine Möglichkeit der Lüftung ergibt sich nur durch die Air condition.

Prachtig schoon appartement, mooie locatie.

Sfeervol, hygiënisch appartement middenin centrum Bairro Alto, aardige eigenaar via whatsapp bereikbaar.

Appartement met terras, terras stelde niet veel voor. Weinig ramen, geen uitzicht ergens op in de woonkamer. Maar was voor ons prima.

Great apartment in Lisbon

Location was great, easy to find and within walking distance of many great spots in Lisbon (great bus and tram connections too). The street was quiet at night so no disruptions and the apartment itself had all the great amenities as expected. Perfect spot for a 3-night city break.

Exactly what it said on the tin, practical and comfortable with a good shower room

Simple apartment but has everything you need, good location, shower much more powerful than most. Steep steps to enter in so not ideal if you have any disabilities.

We left two full bottles of water in the fridge, it’s always nice to have cold water to drink on arrival and I think most people would replace it as they use it.

Well located but not really comfortable

Very good communication with the owner/manager. Very well located to Biarro Alto.

Our accommodation was very tight. One side of the bed was against the wall. It was smaller than we expected. No bed head for pillow to stay. We paid more for our accommodation than our friends and our accommodation was worse.

Uncomfortable, room to small to accommodate a family

The location

The flat was absolutely not suitable for 4 people. The second bed was a folding sofa. It was extremely uncomfortable and when open made it impossible to move in the room because it was so small. The flat had nothing to do with the pictures online. There were many homeless addicts directly beneath the flat which was unpleasant.

Very good

The apartment was beautiful furnished and decorated. It was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The location of the apartment was good and close to all amenities and in a nice area. Nuno was exceptionally helpful and gave great recommendations.

Some of the neighbouring properties were in poor condition.

I would definitely recommend to stay here!

The apartment is gorgeous. Beautifully furnished and so clean and very well situated. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and cafes. Nuno, the owner I believe, was so kind. He upgraded us to a 2 bedroom apartment. He was always available on WhatsApp. Thank you Nuno!!

We didn’t like that there were homeless people right next to the apartment. I didn’t mind them, they are harmless. The kids were a little scared. That’s all.

Well located and fine for a few nights stay

The apartment was well located and communicating with the host via Whatsapp was easy. The host sent a lot of recommendations in advance which was appreciated. The room was smaller than I expected based on the photos however it was fine for a few nights! There were some thoughtful touches throughout the apartment e.g. the provision of shower gel/shampoo, coffee pods for the coffee machine and the ability to leave our bags for a late check out.

The building had very creaky floorboards so there was noise of other people walking in their apartments/on the stairs. This made for quite a noisy environment especially at night if other neighbours are not considerate.

Amazing stay!

The apartment was great! Spacious, clean, beautiful, and fully stocked with everything we needed. Nino went above and beyond to share his recommendations with us, he was responsive and helped us whenever we needed. One of the best and most prepared hosts I’ve seen in all my travels.

The location was a little sketchy with an abandoned building next door and a homeless man who sat outside the apartment door for all 3 days that we visited. Arriving at night did not give us the best impression, but it ended up being okay.

We enjoyed staying one week in Bairro Alto Bronze of Art Apartments.

It was a cosy apartment with a really good equipment, we found there all that we needed during our stay. Location is really good, 10-15 min walking to the city center.

Cockroaches! Find somewhere else in Principe Real.

The location is the only redeeming quality of this hotel. You are literally in the heart of Lisbon’s finest shopping and eateries. Also, the clubbing scene in Principe Real can’t be beat!

Cockroach infested! We found a dead cockroach right in the middle of the living room, and more in the staircase coming up into the room. There were hardly any towels. Beware, the room is NOT serviced during your stay. Overall, there are much better, cleaner establishments for a similar price in the same area.

Perfect little studio apartment in great location.

We had a great stay. The apartment is perfectly located and it's a nice neighbourhood. Would recommend for a city break.

The wooden stairs and floor were noisy. Could hear other guests coming and going.
