Excellent, excellent, excellent

Linda and I stayed at Catalonia Born 10 years ago when we hiked the Pyrenees It was great then and this time we just completed a cruise on Windstar from Lisbon The Born was the perfect transition from the comforts of the cruise ship back to land Thank you Catalonia Born You are the best

Excellent on a adoré

Emplacement top On peut faire beaucoup de visites à pied. Parking à proximité. On retournera au même hôtel lors de notre prochain séjour à Barcelone.

Great stay in a perfect location

Perfect location, lovely clean hotel and the roof top pool was great! Attentive staff who provided a surprise birthday gift which was very much appreciated!

Loved the stay - nice hotel in spot on location!!!

Very nice hotel, perfect location - we walked to most of sightseeing spots, some others are easily reachable by metro. Lots of restaurants and bakeries around the hotel. Hotel looks like on photos, has a nice pool, room was clean and cleaned every day. I really recommend this place.

The additional bed in 3-people room could be more comfy, but this is a small suggestion only, not impacting overall positive impression

הצוות כולו היה אדיב, נעים ונענה לכל הבקשות שלנו במיידי. המלון מרוחק מהמרכז כ-15דק הליכה(דקותיים משער הניצחון..) ונמצא במקום שקט. ארוחת הבוקר היתה נהדרת, הרבה יותר מארוחה מקובלת באירופה לטעמינו ומוגשת עד השעה 11:00, לנו זה היה יתרון. בית מלון לא גדול אבל נעים.

היו חסרים שקעים לחשמל בחדר והטלוויזיה ריצדה והיו בה רק ערוצים מקומיים..

You won’t be disappointed staying at the Catalonia Born in Barcelona.

The room was clean & quite. The location was convenient. The breakfast was superb. It put breakfasts served in major USA hotels to shame. The staff was most helpful and accommodating.

Would have preferred a little more air conditioning since it was 90 + degrees outside.

Great hotel in a brilliant location for Barcelona

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. We booked a Double/Twin room, it was spacious, clean and really quiet (7th floor). Beds are really big and the air conditioning worked really well. Tea/Coffee provided in the room was a nice bonus. The hotel is in a great location in El Born, 2mins from the metro and lots of really cool restaurants, bars and shops in the area.

The rooftop pool and lounge area was really small. Only a few loungers and the pool was more of a plunge pool. But we didn't book it for that so wasn't a problem for us

Great stay in superb location, would definitely come back again.

This is a fantastic location in one of the nicest areas. You have lovely streets, squares, restaurants, parks, etc. right next to the hotel. It's literally opposite the popular Elsa y Fred restaurant. And all the "non-grid" parts of the city are within walking distance. Also some of the nicest and warmest staff I've met in years. The hotel is lovely and has a tiny but pleasant rooftop pool area.

Maybe the room was a bit too dark as the window faced something that was more of a ventilation shaft than a backyard. But we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Also, the A/C was a bit noisier. Minibar in the room could be a bit cheaper (3-4 EUR for drinks that cost 1 EUR in the store next door).

Catalonia Born is comfortable, and perfectly located!

We loved the location. The hotel is embedded perfectly in the El Born neighborhood. Cafes, restaurants, and shopping are all close by. We were able to walk to the train station and bus station (we used both during our stay). The Arco de Triunfo is a short stroll away. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful answering all of our questions. We even enjoyed some time at the rooftop pool. We will choose Catalonia Born again on our next visit to Barcelona.

Superb

Great hotel in the heart of Born, with clean, comfortable rooms, an excellent minibar selection (both food and drink), helpful and friendly staff, and many on-site facilities (often lacking in urban hotels). Highly recommended.

The rooftop swimming pool is very small, which wasn't a problem for me, but if you're looking to do lengths on holiday, you may be disappointed! That's just being picky - this hotel is great.

Had a pleasant stay, but would not return and would explore other hotels in the area

The location is amazing, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, the reception area is very nice and modern.

Four star rating for this hotel is generous - the room we stayed in was very basic and only had 2 plug sockets (not even next to the bed) - there are no iron facilities in the room which is un heard of to me, so clothes were creased for dinners out in Barcelona - the safe in the room was broken and due to previous guest reviews about cleaning staff stealing belongings, we did not feel comfortable allowing our room to be cleaned - it was our anniversary and this was listed on our booking but had no recognition of this from staff (this is not an issue, but it takes an experience from a 3 star one to a 5 star one if some recognition)

Small pool with limited places to sit, went twice to the swimming pool and had no chance to stay or swim as already all the chairs were takken.

Perfect place to stay and a great city to visit

The location was perfect - within walking distance of all major tourist areas like the parks and La Ramblas and 20 minutes to half an hour walk to the beach . Breakfast was perfect - even had gluten free options available and a huge choice . Would highly recommend this hotel
