About this condo rental
Plan a memorable family getaway at this beautiful and spacious two-bedroom two-bathroom Bend vacation home in the popular and desirable River Ridge development at Mt. Bachelor Resort. With a location less than 20 minutes from the slopes, you'll be skiing and snowboarding in no time. And in the summer months, you're only steps away from the Deschutes River Trail for hiking, biking, and other high desert outdoor activities. The complex has a pool and two hot tubs (no hot tub in unit). The unit features a large living room with tall ceilings and lots of natural light. There are two decks that overlook beautiful nature and there is a view of the Old Mill district. Bedrooms are on separate floors, which provides additional privacy. Both bedrooms feature queen size beds and additional sleeping is available with a pull-out sofa. There is a 3rd bedroom option with Vrbo 1490666. The 3rd room is accessible via separate hallway that is locked off from both sides for full privacy, but if you would like to book the 3rd bedroom with your stay please check availability of that unit and contact us prior to booking (or book concurrently for both properties). There are plenty activities in Bend year round. In the winter enjoy all the snow sports including skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and hiking. Summertime brings its own set of activities to Central Oregon, including rock climbing and hiking at Smith Rock State Park, over 20 miles of trails for running, walking, or hiking on the Deschutes River Trail, and white water rafting on the Deschutes River. Scenic downtown Bend is only three miles northeast with its cafes, bookstores, galleries, and the charming duck-and-greenery-filled Drake Park. Year-round, Wall and Bond streets are vibrant with shopping and people watching. After working up an appetite, stop in for a Mediterranean-inspired feast at Joolz or Zydeco Kitchen for shrimp etouffee and drinks. The whole family will enjoy a trip to the High Desert Museum to view outdoor animal exhibits, artwork, and insights into the area's history. This Bend vacation rental is ideally-situated to enjoy both skiing at Mt. Bachelor, sightseeing in downtown Bend, and shopping at the Old Mill District. The place was super comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. Also the location in Bend is great to get around. Kids loved the pool area also.

This was an amazing place to stay in Bend. It was so clean and had all of what our family needed. Parking was easy, the pool was wonderful and there was so much space for our family of 4. We were on the outskirts of the town, but we’re still minutes away from anything we wanted to do. It was so comfortable! When we come back to Bend, we will stay here again!

We loved this house. We have stayed in others in this village and this is our favorite so far. The house was very clean and had everything we needed as far as dishes and cookware. Loved the fact that it had a large cast iron skillet. Took me a minute to figure out the fancy temperature controller but once I figured out where to tap and slide my fingers it was simple to use. Only issue I had was that when I went to BBQ my steaks I found that the LP tank was empty. I was bummed but we were able to use the broiler to cook our steaks so not the end of the world.

A great little space for our family of 4 and the grandparents to stay while attending a wedding near Tetherow resort. Spacious bedrooms with roll away bed and cozy living space.

The condo was close to restaurants, the river, and an easy distance to Mt. Bachelor. The two decks were very nice and comfortably furnished. We were particularly glad that the AC worked very well during the record-breaking heat wave. My only complaint is that there were no tissues provided.

The online photos and property description perfectly matched our experience. I was there with a friend with a week long golf trip. The place was very clean, quiet, and very comfortable. When you add in the how close we were to all the dining and retail locations in Bend, it made it perfect.
The owner was responsive to all my questions, The check in and out experience was excellent. I would not hesitate to come back and stay at the same place again.

Central Oregon is one of our favorite places. This is our first time staying in Bend after selling our Sunriver place.
We were down for our daughter's wedding and it was during the super smokey fire season. Everything on the decks were covered with smoke and dust. A little inside as well. This was certainly not a housekeeping issue. Just circumstances.
This unit is within walking distance to Curlys, our favorite BBQ place. Its surrounded by walking trails and an easy drive to Mt Bachelor. We will be back

We couldn’t get the air conditioner to cool the condo down and especially at night for sleeping. Getting out of master shower very slippery. Kitchen cabinets were sticky. Lovely deck to sit on and enjoy. Very close to town was a great thing. Living and dinning area very nice.

Perfect location, for adventure or relaxation
the rental had everything you could expect to need during a stay. Spacious rooms with plenty of natural light and beautiful views. We really enjoyed coffee from the balconies every morning to start the day. Close enough to all that Bend and the surrounding areas have to offer, while being tucked away in the woods enough to get peace and quiet as well!

An Amazing Place to Stay
This property is just as advertised. It is super clean and very comfortable. The location is great with easy access to all that there is to do in Bend. A great town and a great getaway. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect location
Easy access to town and to the mountain. Very quiet which we greatly appreciated. Our only suggestion is to provide new bed pillows as the current ones are flat and hard. Otherwise great.

Just suggestions
Very nice place, beautiful property and view. We would suggest slightly softer beds, but maybe that’s just us. The downstairs was cool but the upstairs was hot....(imagine that, heat rises)....not sure how that could be rectified exactly, but it was hard to sleep upstairs because it was so warm, while at the same time the downstairs was a little too cool to watch tv. Oh well. Nice place overall.

This Condo was the best!
What a wonderful unobstructed windowed view of gorgeous trees of so many kinds! Windows everywhere - when it snowed one night we felt like we were inside a Christmas snow globe with a fireplace too!
Friendly deer roaming and more peaceful and beautiful than we could imagine. Large pool, two hot tubs and lovely lounging area. Weather was awesome in September! We stayed the whole month! Warm enough to golf, then a few awesome light snow falling days. And fabulous fine dining as well as great pubs all very near by. Perfect location, cozy and beautiful two story condo. So roomy and well maintained. Big deck off living room made for fabulous barbeque nights outside. No insect issues here either! So nice to grill meats and not see one insect. The deck off the upstairs bedroom is another wonderful feature of this perfect condo. We absolutely loved it!

Perfect Bend Vacation!
Peter's place was exactly as described. Peter was so helpful and made everything easy! The home was clean and beautiful. I walked to the river every day, I could walk to the mountain bike rental store and my husband was close to golf. We spent hours on the deck looking at the trees and wildlife. Thank you, Peter, for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous home. We will be back!

Enjoyed the condo. Well stocked. Limited kitchen space. Need additional bedding and pillow for sofa bed. Super view. Felt like in a tree house with visiting deer with fawn.
WiFi very spotty. Got on internet then dropped and unable to get back on. Password did not work. Dissppointing.

Near all the Fun!
Great property that is close enough to just about everything you will want to do, but far enough away to be quiet. Located in an older but well maintained condo development. This unit overlooks a rugged common area that eventually meets the river. Owner was very responsive to newbie questions from us and a huge help. Highly recommended.
