With a sweet enclosed backyard with BBQ and charming front patio, this property embraces the indoor/outdoor living experience. West Beach is quite an unbeatable location much like the center of a wagon wheel, with the beach, the harbor, activities, festivals, restaurants, bars, train station, State Street, The Funk Zone and cafes stretching out in all directions. No need for a car when you stay at one of our units, everything is a short walk or bike ride away! Professionally interior designed to capture the uniqueness of this design, this property is filled with Santa Barbara local treasures with quality bedding and linens. This property gives you the "resort like feel" yet the comforts and amenities that only a home can provide. Guests can stretch out and unwind and have privacy all at the same time...there truly can be “two masters” in this beach villa. All linens, cookware and supplies are provided to all of our guests, all of the time. Pack and play portable crib and high chair provided. Beautiful place with all the amenities, even coffee! Nice patios front and back, spacious bedrooms, and a beautiful kitchen. Close walk to beach and restaurants and quick access to the State Street businesses, stores, restaurants….and funk zone bars and restaurants. All in all it was a wonderful stay!

This is a wonderful family home, with a spacious living area, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, garage, a large rear garden with bbq and a variety of seating areas, and a pleasant front garden that gets the morning sun.
The property is a couple of blocks from the beach and the so-called “funk zone” that offers many restaurants and tourist options.
The property was very clean and nicely decorated. There was some minor noise from the upstairs apartment, but nothing out of the ordinary. The large, walk-in showers were good, and the kitchen was well appointed with useful cooking equipment.
Overall, an extremely pleasant stay in a beautiful town. We will certainly return!

Our stay at this home was great! The location was a short walking distance to the beach and popular restaurants. We could also walk just blocks to the Funk Zone. I would return to Santa Barbara and this VRBO property in a minute. As a side note, we were on the bottom unit and the upstairs sounds traveled easily. That didn't spoil our stay, however.

The location of the apartment (you can walk to the beach and downtown), the style, and the great service of the apartment's rental service are all elements making this apartment a great place to stay. The only slight negative was the upstair toilet was very loud when flushed.

The cleaning company was late so I didn’t get in at 3 PM. I got into the place at 4:30. They did let me sit upstairs at the one that was empty until my check in.

We loved taking the beach cart just two blocks to dip our toes in the Pacific. Kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms spacious and all common spaces are comfortable and well designed. As noted by others you do hear every footstep from the above unit, but in our case it sounded like young kids and quieted by 10 pm. The Amtrak blows through with a loud horn very nearby and startled us the first night, but once I downloaded a white noise app on my phone we were fine.

Let me start off by saying that the property is aesthetically really great. The appliances are all new and the property management company provided lots of pots, pans, bowls, etc for cooking purposes which was really great. It's located in a super quiet and nice neighborhood that is within walking distance from the beach as well as downtown Santa Baraba which was highly convenient for us. The property is also very clean and has a really nice outdoor patio space that we used quite a bit. There were a couple of issues with our stay, however. First, we were unaware that there was another property above ours and that people would be staying there the entire time we were. This would normally not be an issue but their footsteps were quite loud on our ceiling at all times. To make matters worse, whenever the tenents above us flushed their toilets we could hear a very loud flushing sound throughout our apartment. As you can imagine this was quite disturbing, especially at night when we were trying to sleep. It woke us up in the middle of the night several times. We were not informed about this issue from the property management company ahead of time which is disappointing because we would not have stayed there knowing this. We were looking for a place devoid of noise and if you are too I would try to avoid this property.
