Let me first say that this house would probably be a 3.5 star for a short term few day stay. As a 30 day rental, it fell a little short. Pros: 1. The canal was lovely and it was great to sit on the deck and enjoy coffee. 2. The beds were comfortable. 3. The kitchen had a great 6 burner stove. Cons: 1. We rented this house specifically because it listed air conditioning (July booking). What the description fails to mention, is that the A/C is only in the kitchen/living room and a wall unit in the upstairs bonus room. The bedrooms were sweltering at night when it got above 90 degrees in Bend. 2. The fridge does not have an ice maker, nor does it have ice trays to make ice. We had to buy a bag of ice every other day. 3. There were several things that were broken that needed attention. The fridge - management worked on it but never got it working properly for 30 days. The fire pit- there was a note that it was being upgraded, but not in the month we were there. Windows- finally got them fixed 20 days into the rental. 4. The second bathroom shower is non functioning as a regular shower. The shower head is a hand held and will not adjust to spray down. When left in the holder it sprays the wall. So our family of four all had to use the master shower. 5. The pictures of the house clearly show a garage. Unfortunately as guests you are not allowed to use it. For a few days that would be ok. However, for a 30 day rental, its a little absurd. 6. Lastly, please get the couch cleaned - its just gross.

Lovely location, good location, great deck and canal views. Clean, easy to use, everything was as advertised. We would stay again. Only drawbacks were some windows didn't work, and dog scratches on doors.
