A very pleasant stay

Very good location close to South Quay DLR station. The apartment was clean and came with everything you need, such as towels, hair dryer, utensils etc.. Staff was very friendly and appreciate the 24/7 reception. Worth every penny.

One really small downside was that we didn’t get the access chip to the property so we had to wait for the receptionist to open the front door each time we wanted to enter.

check my review before booking

I’ve booked a 2-bedroom flat for 8 nights at Clover Court. Below is an account of my experience. i called the helpline before travel to inquire about the check in procedure and they answered me they have 24 hours reception service. I stated my arrival time in my booking and I arrived as stated only to find that the receptionist was away for lunch. It was a cold rainy day and we have to took refuge in a nearby supermarket (200 m walk) waiting for reply of the helpline staff. Three of us carrying 3 large suitcase and 2 carry-on was quite a hassle. Finally, we were told we could stay in a building which was 50m away from Clover Court while waiting for the receptionist to come back from lunch. In fact, that was the property we were going to stay, but we were not informed at that moment. And we had to tow our luggages back ad fro. upon check in, we were told the Clover Court was fully booked and we were arranged to stay in another property (the one we waited for the receptionist), with the balcony facing a back alley. after check in, any inquiry/request was either through Whatsapp or walk back to Clover Court braving the wind and cold to talk to the receptionist in person. Whatsapp was responded by a bot initially. Human reply ranged from 10 minutes to an hour. toilet flushing button needed an hour to have someone to fix it. A mal-functioned coffee machine needed 2 days to replace it. A broken iron was not replaced because the contractor didn’t work at night and they had no extra and I had to attend the ceremony the next morning and i didn’t need it afterwards … i requested an extra duvet and they would charge me GBP 18 for renting that. I ended up buying one from Asda at GBP 14. It costs less and it’s brand new. i requested an extra toilet roll on the 7th day. Their reply was toilet paper are provided just on arrival, and I need to buy it by myself thereafter. I didn’t mind to buy it but the minimum rolls for sale is 4. I ended up using pocket tissue.

Spacious and clean flat

We were on the 10th floor. Really nice views, big apartment with comfortable beds and sofa bed. Very clean and tidy.

We didn’t ask for bedding to use the sofa bed and we couldn’t ask on arrival because the office was closed during weekends. Also, we were given only 1 set of keys because they didn’t have a key for the apartment for the second pair.

Spacious and clean

Spotlessly clean and a great size - much larger than expected. Felt safe as a solo traveller

The heating is a central air system which was difficult to control. Not easy to find the building.

Brilliant and luxe.

Great location with the local Tesco express being 15 seconds from the property, beautiful canal view and great restaurants just a couple minutes away from the place.

Top Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, sehr angenehme Ambiente!

Grosszüge, saubere und zurückhaltend modern eingerichtete Wohnung, für uns top gelegen direkt am Wasser auf der Isle of dogs, 2 tube Stationen in der Nähe, Gegend wirkte auf uns sehr sicher, alles sauber und sehr nette, diskrete Dame beim Check In! Top Ausstattung der Küche. Man kann sogar einige Fenster einen Spalt öffnen und so für Durchzug sorgen. Aber top Preis Leistungsverhältnis!

Die Betten waren relativ klein und etwas durchgelegen, das Sofa haben wir aus Interesse mal ausgeklappt, das ist nicht zumutbar. Ein zweiter Fön und ein paar zusätzliche Kaffee Pads wären nett gewesen. Es roch fies auf dem Flur vor den Aufzügen, irgendwie chemisch.

Anyone whose looking for 2 - 3 stars place to stay this might be a good choice.

Quite spacious. 24 hrs concierge.

Sofa have lots of dust/ bugs. Curtains was very dirty. Floor was sticky especially in kitchen area.

Spacious apartment and conveniently located for the purpose of my trip, although quite far from the city center. Close to public transport. Very nice view from the terrace!

The communication was not super smooth given the check-in procedure, even after exchanging a few emails I was not sure if my family would be able to check in upon arrival. The apartment requires some renovations (bathroom). It was very hot in the apartment and in the building and it was difficult to lower the temperature, we had to keep the windows open all the time but it did not help much.

Exceptional

There was a problem with the original apartment and they offered us a similar brand new apartment instead of cancelling the reservation like other companies did to travellers during the Easter period. They were very professional!

Clean, spacious, safe area, brilliant value, kind staff

The area was quiet and safe. The apartment was spacious and clean. Everything was close by and access links to the city were a short walk away

The apartment had a strong smell of curry, it was coming from the extractor fan filter, from the previous guest. We were quick to tell guest relations, and they were efficient and responsive to our issue, kind and understanding.
