Nestled in South Lake Tahoe, this lovely house for R 9,606 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Our beautifully designed and newly renovated mountain cabin is 2400+ square feet and provides all the comforts of home with the luxury and convenience of a fine quality hotel. Our spacious and peaceful cabin includes 4 bedrooms (2 master suites), 3.5 bathrooms, 2 common areas (lower & upper level), 2 decks with a hot tub and BBQs, a large fenced-in backyard, 2 car garage and fully equipped kitchen and dining room for entertaining and family enjoyment. This cabin is excellently located for direct access onto daily snowplowed roads during the winter while maintaining the privacy and beauty of mother-nature's mountain and forest scenery from every viewpoint. We have enjoyed many skiing/snowboarding trips to nearby Heavenly and Kirkwood ski-lifts, hiking and mountain biking trails directly outside our front door and boating and beach play with our children here in South Lake Tahoe. We are happy to share our little peace of heaven with you and we hope for you to continue making fond memories with your families and friends as we have. Kitchen, Living Room & Dining Room: The gourmet kitchen is every cook's dream: granite slab countertops, oak cabinets, 4-burner gas stove, flat-top grill (perfect for Tahoe flap jacks!), double-decker convection ovens, large refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, mixer, spices, oils, cutlery, pots & pans, and more! The adjoining dining nook seats 8-10 people at the table, with three additional stools at the kitchen counter. In the Living Room, there's a magnificent marble fireplace with large leather couches, 50' HDTV and home theater system. Adjacent to the living space is our high-quality 9 ft Olhausen pool table for your personal entertainment. The wall to wall windows offer views of the surrounding forest and mountains. Enjoy the wilderness on the upper-deck with views of the woods, mountains, and plenty of opportunities to see wildlife below. Downstairs, there is a second common living-room with a 50' HDTV & DVD player, marble fireplace, large comfy couch, two luxury bean-bags, board games and toys. The sliding glass door opens to our second deck with hot tub, BBQ, and large fenced-in backyard. The whole home has great WiFi coverage and a speedtest rating at 93.4 Download / 12.6 Upload average (tested multiple nights between 6-9PM) - perfect for streaming and getting a little remote work done (ugh). Policies: - No smoking - No pets allowed - No events, parties, or large gatherings - Must be at least 25 years old to book - Additional fees and taxes may apply South Lake Tahoe Restrictions: - Area rangers strictly enforce all Vacation Rental Ordinances (parking, noise violations, camping, etc). If a citation is received, the guest will be responsible for paying both guest and owner citations, up to $2,000. - To avoid citations, follow all community rules as outlined in the Welcome Book and observe quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. Please note that outdoor hot tub usage is restricted during quiet hours, and will also incur a fine if used between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. - Please note: You must only park in designated spaces (garage, paved driveway). Vehicles are not allowed to park on the street and will be ticketed/towed. Local police are very strict about this. - Camping on the property is strictly prohibited.

The cabin was as advertised. It offered plenty of space for our group, and we appreciated the pool table and separate downstairs “hang out” room for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed including sharp knives. The owner was responsive both before and during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to return.

We had an awesome time. The children enjoyed the pool table. Together we built a snow Peppa pig in the back yard. The house is at a good location.

Our stay could not have been anymore amazing! Beautiful home with so many amenities. Kids loved the bunk beds and adults enjoyed the upstairs. It’s truly the perfect setting. Location is also prime. So close to downtown & Emerald Bay State Park. The host is very responsive. I really appreciate that we can communicate directly with the host/owner versus an agency like other rentals are now doing. It really makes the experience more personable and comforting. The information/tips our host provided exceeded expectations and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!!!!

We had a great time in this comfortable home. Met all of our needs for a quick trip to the mountains. As previous renters noted, there is not air conditioning and the house is located directly on a busy road. We had expected a more private location based on the description. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

The house is very large, which was perfect for my family. We did not realize that the property backed a busy street, so it was noisy. Other than that, all was good.

Great house and good for a family. Owner is very responsive. No air conditioning so it can get quite warm in summer. When the windows are open there’s a lot of road noise. Nice central location with easy access to activities in the south Tahoe area.

Overall it was great, but it was very warm weather during the week and the home has no air conditioning. Very warm trying to cool the house with windows open and fans.
We found out that most homes do not have AC in Tahoe, including many restaurants.

We were there with a group of friends with young kids, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is equipped with cookware, utensils, seasoning, etc, which makes cooking for young kids easy. We were able to make some simple breakfast everyday. Grocery stores were just minutes away, and the home is located close to many restaurants. We didnt have any problem going in and out of the house, rooms were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. The only note is the temperature difference between the lower and upper ground - it gets chilly in the lower bedrooms at night, but still bearable and cozy with blankets.

We had a great time at the house, everything was as described and we had a blast! The sleeping arrangements were great and we had access to all the activities even with all the snow. Host was great and highly recommend picking this spot!

The house was stunning and well maintained. It is stocked with everything you need to make you feel right at home (just remember to bring your own shampoo/conditioner). The check-in process was seamless and the email from the Walker Family prior to arrival was so helpful! We are a family of 7 so finding places to accommodate us all can be challenging but we had extra room here. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the welcome email to a binder on the kitchen bar with any and all information you need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I really liked the fact that the bedrooms did not have TV's (teenage kids) and the boardgames and DVD collection kept us all together after our day in the snow! We can't wait to stay again! We loved our stay. The house was perfect for our family. My husband and I spent Christmas with our 4 adult kids. Plenty of space and beds for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. They even made a giant snowman in the backyard. The location was great. Only 10 minutes to Heavenly and within easy reach of grocery stores and restaurants. The owner was easily reached with any questions. The communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay with friends and family, this is a perfect listing. Everything was very clean and the house itself was very spacious for 8 adults. We loved the pool table and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and had enough room for us all. We had everything we needed to cook our meals. The rooms were very clean as well and comfy. Loved that there were 3.5 baths. Always helpful with a group of people! The check in process was very smooth and very accurate. Host is on it with communication and very friendly! We explored a lot around the town in South Lake Tahoe and loved it. Not far at all from this house at all. You’re close to restaurants, gas, coffee, the lake itself and so much more. Great house for family. Only issue was the small number of bath towels for 6 adults and a hot tub. While laundry was available, who wants to do laundry while on vacation? Everything else was superb.

This house was awesome for a family ski trip. The second living room downstairs along with the bunk room and pool table made it great for kids. A ton of room to spread out. Had an awesome time.

The Lake Tahoe area is beautiful. There is so much to do outdoors! The hiking trails are good, swimming in the lake is grand, paddle boarding is great fun, and walking around South Lake Tahoe is a treat. The Walker's home is lovely. Ryan is fantastic. He is easy to contact and responds quickly. We loved our family time together in the Walker's home!
