Experience the authentic Bend lifestyle when you wake up to sunshine and walk across the street to Drake Park and the idyllic Deschutes River. Stroll to downtown and enjoy one of the many great restaurants, breweries, galleries and shops. Walk across the bridge and the ultra-popular 10 Barrel Brewing Company, your starting point to the Bend Ale Trail, is a mere stroll away! Hop on a cruiser bike that we provide, and ride along the river to the Old Mill District to enjoy an IMAX movie, shopping, or riverside dining. World class bike trails, paddle boarding down the river, live outdoor concerts at Hayden Homes Amphitheater, and the winter shuttle to Mt. Bachelor are all right out your front door when you are our guests at the Riverside Cottage. Relax on the wide front porch and watch the day go by - Bend style! Or, cozy up in front of the fireplace and watch TV. The open floor plan is ideal for families and friends! Create a gourmet meal for the entire family in the fully stocked, newly remodeled kitchen. Enjoy your meal on the deck with friends, cook out on the huge gas grill, or relax in the salt system hot tub under a desert sky filled with stars. Downstairs is designed for fun in the spaciously remodeled family room. Play a game of foosball, enjoy the comfort of the second fireplace, spread out with the whole family for or take a quiet rest and enjoy a great selection of books for all ages from the library. A third bedroom with a double and twin bed is also available downstairs. This is a great set up for multiple families with kids or groups of friends! The 1800 sq. ft. has a cozy cottage feel while providing room enough for everyone without feeling crowded. This house is fully stocked with all the amenities you need for a one of a kind Bend vacation. All of the beds are super comfy with fresh clean duvets and high thread count linens. There is a washer and dryer, free wireless internet, and cruiser bikes for you to explore Bend! And best property management ever. (I’ve done vacation rentals 2-3 times a year since 2001 and this manager was the best) Problem with smoke detector, fixed in one hour. Problem with WiFi, fixed in a few hours. (Only problems we had and we stayed for almost two weeks). The property was perfect for our family of six adults. Comfortable and easy to hang out together. Walked to town, to restaurants, to coffee. Hot tub great. Kitchen/cooking easy and room for a few cooks and a few watchers. Quiet neighborhood. We plan to return next year.

Loved the house. Loved bend. Loved mount bachelor. Loved the management company!!! Loved everything! Walking distance to everything fun! Plenty of room for our family if 5. It was just a really great way to spend Xmas. Mackenzie and the management team were amazing - they took care of all the packages I sent ahead of Xmas and had them ready and waiting! I cannot thank everyone enough! STAY HERE!!!

This was the perfect home base for our weekend in Bend. It was the perfect location, walkable and bikeable to everything. Property manager was easy to work with as well.

The house was perfect for our family vacation - 5 people & our dog. And the location couldn’t be better… walking distance to so many restaurants, shops, and of course the river. We really appreciated the floats and bikes provided as well as the hot tub. This was one of the best homes I’ve ever rented!

We only got in our car once on this whole vacation! We explored the downtown area with the bikes provided, walked to coffee shops, breweries, food carts, parks. House was well equipped with bikes for adults (BYO for kids) and tubes for floating the river. The basement was perfect for our 2 kids. Kitchen was fairly minimally equipped for cooking, but we didn’t bother with much food prep anyways because of close proximity to so many good places to eat.

Location, location,location! One direction is a 10 min walk to downtown Bend, the other is a 10 min walk to Mill District. This fit my family of 6 perfectly. The beach cruisers were an added bonus. Wish we could have used the tubes as well. We will definitely be back!

The house had plenty of room for 7 adults. Sleeping arrangements were as advertised. Location to downtown and river couldn't be better. Hosts are very clear about check in / check out instructions.

A lovely house located by the river and Drake Park. An easy walk to downtown and all of our favorite breweries and restaurants. Check in was easy and the house was well appointed so it was easy to do some cooking at the house. I would look to returning here if I have Bend in mind for my next holiday.

I've stayed here before and coming back was a good choice. There was plenty of space for me and my 5 friends to hang out, it's so close to all the Bend happenings. The host was very helpful and all the things worked well. Highly recommend.

Rented for Christmas weekend. The house is cute, nice, clean and large enough for our family of 4 with room to stretch out. We also had 10 people for dinner and plenty of room to be comfortable. Walking distance to the park with the dogs and also a nice long stroll into town. Would rent again.

I've rented vacations homes in Bend many time but this place is one of the favorites. This place actually sleeps 7 (some listings assume larger beds are being shared), has a great kitchen and walking distance to most downtown areas in Bend. The downstairs is large and doubles the size of the home.

Great location, everything else is old and very used including all of the furniture and uncomfortable beds. Half the house is in a basement that has a very short ceiling and no windows. If all you care about is being close to the river, it's a great house.

Spectacular house
What an amazing house. Everything you need is provided, clean towels, kitchen equipment. The best location you could ask for, close to the park and downtown. I would highly recommend staying here for a truly amazing bend experience.

This is a lovely home with classic craftsman cottage charm and all the modern updates we could ask for. Fully finished basement makes the house feel so much larger than it looks. Hot tub in the private back patio was a nice bonus and fully fenced back yard was perfect for our dogs. Great location with restaurants, breweries, parks and shops within easy walking distance. My family loved staying here! We’ll be back!

We needed a location for easy access to Mt. Bachelor for winter fun... check! We needed a location for easy access to hikes... check! We needed lots of beds... check! Property was wonderful with a full kitchen for all of our meals, super clean house, comfy beds, lots of pillows, extra linens and towels, great hot tub, warm cozy fireplaces, close to town so we could walk to sample the local brews and shop. Couldn't have asked for a better house that fit our needs! We had four adults and two adult kids and one dog. More than enough space for everyone to spread out. Although we did not use any of the games provided, the house had lots of fun games to keep younger kids busy in the lower level. We would definitely come back to this home and Bend for a future visit!

Wonderful Place in a perfect location.
The place was perfect for our group of two families with young children. The play room and bedrooms downstairs allowed grownups and children to have their own space when needed.

Great experience as our first time in Bend. 5 min to everything and my kids had a great time with the games on the lower level.

Favorite new spot to stay
While this wasn’t the fanciest property we have ever stayed at, it was our favorite. The location can’t be beat, and the downstairs was set up with so many games, movies, books and activities that the kids didn’t even use what they brought with them. They have already requested that we stay there again. As usual bluebird properties are always the best maintained of any that we stay in. We always have such confidence when we book with them that everything will be clean, beds will be comfortable and that they will be in great communication. That’s why we book with them over other properties every time.

Great spot to warm up for our sons wedding at Brasada ranch.
We came into town from California the Saturday prior to our sons wedding. A few other couples close to us rented a Bluebird home and we all had a great time exploring Bend and all it has to offer.
The house was perfect and we had a great time.

Great property and location. Close to everything. If I had one complaint it would be the oak tree near the driveway that expelled a constant mist of sap on our cars.
