This 3-bedroom vacation rental spreads on 4 levels and boasts over 2,400 square feet. The bottom level has an open floor plan kitchen with black and stainless steel appliances, huge walk-in pantry, 4 bar stools, and beautiful counter tops, the laundry room equipped with plenty of hooks, cabinets, shelves, and cubbies to store everyone's gear. Up the stairs to the second level brings you to the dining room with a large table to seat 8, a full bathroom, and a deck with 2 chairs and a small table. Don't pass up the wet bar with mini fridge, sink, plenty of cabinets for storage, 2 bar stools, and wine glass rack. The dining room opens up to the living room with dramatic vaulted ceilings with a warm and cozy gas fireplace, 65-inch TV with Fire Stick and Sonos sound system, and sliding glass doors leading to a second deck, equipped with 4 chairs and 2 tables the mid-mountain valley views are sure to please all. With a plush couch, 2 comfy chairs, and many large floor throw pillows, this open living room allows for everyone to watch a movie. A Sonos sound system allows for ultimate entertainment. There is even a game table in the corner along with plenty of games to keep kids and adults enjoying a night in. Walk up the next set of stairs and into either of the two bedrooms on this floor. Each bedroom has a Queen bed, in suite full bathroom, walk-in closet, a flat screen TV, air conditioning or heat pump, and deck door access shared with the other bedroom. From this deck, you have mountaintop views and can even see the Gondola running! The 4th and top level of this condo is reserved for the Primary Bedroom. Dramatic vaulted ceilings, air conditioning or heat pump, attached full bathroom with double vanity, walk-in closet, King size bed, 55-inch flat screen TV, and ceiling fan - this bedroom is made to please. The two on-property hot tubs are ready and waiting for our guests. Also, there are two gas grills for guests to use and a patio table and chairs. Book this ski condo and receive discounted lift tickets. Located conveniently 200 yards to the ski slopes, the La Casa complex has been a long-time favorite Steamboat lodging spot. The amenities include covered parking and overflow parking, and seasonal outdoor hot tubs, which makes the complex perfect for your vacation rental place. Wonderful location for our family of 6 adults with easy access to ski slopes, dining and shopping. It snowed while we were in Steamboat Springs and this location was the perfect place to stay to enjoy a true family ski vacation.

Arrived during snow storm. Beds had one thin blanket and sheet. Was told owner did not want to clean blankets and comforters after each occupant...due to Covid.....ridiculous!!
Two doors did not latch or lock...was told they would send someone...never did for 4 days. Difficult to leave and enjoy yourself with doors open.

We loved this property!! Sooooo much storage! Soooo many bathrooms and showers for lots of people! Huge living area with a fun little bar! Decks everywhere! Gorgeous views. I loooved the kitchen area! We can’t wait to go back in the winter

Great condo but not ski in/ski out
The condo was beautiful and comfortable. Plenty of space for a large family or two. Location is good but IT IS NOT SKI IN / SKI OUT. There is a walk to get to the mountain. It is not long but more than is suggested in the posting. Unit 24 (this one) is the last unit in La Casa and the longest distance to the mountain. Retretia was a little difficult to deal with and did not go out of their way to make us feel at home. This condo was great but the management left us thinking about staying somewhere else next year.

Great place to come back to after hiking and playing at Steam Boat Springs.
Loved all of the bathrooms off of each room. Well, equipped with everything we needed. Thank you for the fans in each room- we needed it with no air conditioning. Only improvement would be to make sure the floors are vacuumed, they did not look like they had been when we arrived. It also would have been nice to have a pancake griddle for breakfasts and a couple of more fans to cool things off. Great place to stay! We really enjoyed our visit! Thanks!

Property description was not accurate when it states a pool is available. Apparently that is no longer the case. Lots of verbiage requesting you recycle however they do not provide the bin within which to place recycling. Otherwise, loved the place!

Great Condo
If you want a condo that's great for a group of friends or a family look no further. This is the one !
The kitchen is well appointed, beds are comfy, and the Great Room perfect for entertaining. and dining. It's a very 'warm' house.
And best of all it's close to the hill so you don't have to walk far to hit the snow.

Great location and perfect for a week at the mountain.
The property was great with a couple minor issues but Retreatia was always available by phone to answer any questions. We had seven adults and we were not cramped at all. Huge kitchen to cook meals and a large table for the group to eat at. Hot showers and a warm fireplace to relax after a day of riding.

GREAT STAY IN STEAMBOAT SPRINGS!
What a fantastic experience staying in LaCasa in Steamboat Springs! Loved, loved, loved the condo - especially the different floors giving us our own space, and plenty of room to hang out together. Loved all of the amenities that you thought of - providing items in the kitchen and bathroom for our use. In past rentals in other places, we have spent a lot of money buying everything we possibly needed (paper towels, toilet paper, sponges to wash dishes, dishwasher detergent, etc, but most of that was provided for us here. Also loved the fact that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. When we had questions, the office answered them quickly and offered to help in anyway possible. We also loved Steamboat Springs and exploring a new area. We were disappointed that we had to leave a couple days early because of a death in the family, but we will definitely be back!

Steamboat Vacation
Unbelievable!!! The hospitality from the Retreatia folks was off the charts! And...The unit was fantastic. I visited for a week with my youngest daughter and my two sons (Wife and eldest daughter do not ski or board). The unit was in impeccable condition, and was decorated just to my taste (lots of antique and western paraphernalia while maintaining a modern look). The unit was well stocked with kitchen ware, paper towels, etc. One of the nicest surprises is how close we were to the slopes - 75 yd level walk, and we were strapping on boards! Short run right to the Gondola ski lift. We also got off the slope at the same point when we were done in the afternoon. A five minute walk will put you right in the middle of Gondola square.
The unit was very spacious and well laid out. The only constructive comment that I have is concerning the second bedroom with bunks. I am sure that the consideration was given to sleeping as many folks as possible, but the "bunk room" was a little tight. My two boys stayed in this room and struggled finding enough storage area for their supplies. Still, this is a very small issue. The units in LaCosa do not have a shuttle service, but depend on the city bus route. This was fine as the buses always showed up promptly every 10 minutes. The ride home (from town) could get a little lengthy depending on how many stops were requested, but our longest ride home was only about 20-25 minutes.
I plan to bring my wife back during the summer months, and will request the same unit through Retreatia. Great location and a good value.

Perfect Place for our vacation
We had a great time in this home, it had everything we were looking for, the perfect layout, location and amenities. One thing I was extremely impressed with was the cleanliness, I have never seen such a spotless rental home in my 20 years of travelling. The maids must work really hard to get it in this shape!
We had 4 bathrooms for 8 of us, I really liked that, since most 3 bedrooms usually come only with 3 at the most. The free bus stops right by the unit, so we went to downtown quite a bit. There is a little creek and and beach in just 2 minutes walking distance, there was a great restaurant there, that I do not remember the name of, so after we had the kids playing in the creek and the adults enjoying their wine.
Great place, we will be back for sure.
