We stayed for 5 days and the entire time we felt right at home and never needed to buy more than regular supplies. This cabin had everything we needed. The only complaint I could come up with was the fact that the heat was not central, which is common up in these parts. The bedrooms were well equipped with plenty of blankets and we also brought our own, so no big deal. We wont hesitate to rent this cabin again!

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin in a very quiet and lovely neighborhood. It's so conveniently close to town, and yet in the woods. The kitchen is great, and the couches and beds are so comfortable!

We stayed for three nights in August for an end-of-summer vacation for the kids. The interior is modern and functional, the chairs, couches, and especially the beds are super comfortable. Not too soft and nothing feels worn down. The kitchen is well equipped with a newish refrigerator, and room for family sit-down meals. The living room has plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and if you need more room, the decks are fabulous. Sit and enjoy the end of the day while the sun goes down with your favorite beverage and recount the adventures of the day. Because Big Bear is filled with great places to go, from the lake itself to mountain biking Summit Valley to hiking and more.
We really enjoyed our trip, the hosts were very nice and we look forward to coming back again!

An A+ location, layout and comfortable environment. Very well maintained, clean and updated. The decks are an extension of the cabin, relax, cook, have a glass of wine. What an environment to immerse yourself in.
The cabin is so comfortable, well maintained and comfortable. Regardless the time of year, weather, this home with fireplace and comforts can make you not want to leave, and be anxious to come back. We will.
Our two week stay was over too soon.
The overall experience and comfort was above our expectations. A special getaway!

Location is exactly as described and clean. Easy entry as host provides the code for pad on door. Fireplace was enjoyed by whole family and close to the mountain for skiing. Also, I had to work a bit and the kids brought all their electronic devices (gaming computers, iPads, etc.) and I was very pleased with the blazing fast internet Wi-fi connection. I clocked it at around 400 Mbps download. Had no problem getting work done while kids used it for movies and games.

We are very happy with our stay. Lauren is a super host who is always prompt in communications. There was a truck parked on the driveway when we arrived and the other side of parking spot was all over with snow. Lauren replied messages and picked up the phone right away to handle situations. Besides the hiccups of parking and icy snow on driveway, we enjoy our stay very much. Bed sheets are very comfortable! Love the cabin decors! Our family always go to Snow Summit and her cabin is just 7 minute drive to the ski resort entrance. The cabin is also very close to The Village, our go to favorite dinner restaurants. Lauren is very kind to help us with a late checkout. We will definitely come back here again!!

We booked this last minute and the owner was very nice. Everything was great but a few issues. The TV was a nice bigger screen but we couldn't get it to cable, The next day someone did come out and fix it. The bathroom could have been cleaner- once I told the owner casually so she would know- can't fix something if you don't tell anyone. She immediately sent someone out. Our car - Element- is lower so we had to park below the cabin- which worked out. Overall it was a great getaway for us.... If you are renting this cabin - communication is key - owner will answer and fix any issues. To me this is important. (Sorry it's been 2 weeks since we stayed there and I forgot the owners name. )

excellent mountain getaway
We loved staying here. It's adorable, comfortable, and is in a great location on the east end of the lake. It's a great spot for bringing bikes because it's near the beautiful Alpine Pedal Path. Vons and Stater Bros are less than a 5 min drive away but at the same time the neighborhood is very peaceful and full of trees. The decks have nice views and we enjoyed both of them. We will be back for sure! :)

Location: The cabin is located in an area which makes both Bear Mountain, and the city very accessible. If you need to run into town for any reason, you only have like a 3 minute drive to a Walgreens, or two major grocery stores. Add a minute or two in the opposite direction and you are in the village for shops and restaurants. You are not so close that you hear any highway or street noise though.
Cabin: We were not left wanting for anything. The cabin was clean, well stocked with everything we needed I.e. towels, dishes, paper products, soaps (dish, hand, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). We even got some unexpected snow on our last day and found shovels to clear the driveway and decks, and snow toys for my little one. The Wi-Fi worked great and the smart TV was easy to use for night time entertainment. I even got to discuss what VHS is to my 4 year old to play some movies before bedtime.
Host: Lauren is awesome! She made our stay! We had a hiccup the first time we booked the cabin and she more than made up for it! I only mention it because due to factors outside her control our first attempt to stay here had to be rescheduled, but she went out of her way to make it up to us. She was quick to reply and very accommodating when the snow closed the roads (we were able to extend our stay luckily).
Overall, I look forward to booking again, recommending the property to friends and family, and reluctantly to anyone looking for a great location for a Big Bear vacation. I’m reluctant only because I want it to be available for me the next time!

The cabin is nicely decorated, spacious enough for a family of 4 with some room to spare. The kids loved the top bunk but no one wanted the bottom bunk because there isn’t much vertical clearance which wasn’t a problem because so many other beds to choose from. Having a tv in the bedroom with the king size bed and bunk was great for relaxing all cozy after we were worn out from a day at the slopes. The kitchen was nice with everything we could need (except for Plastic wrap or ziplocks for left overs). We were able to cook at the cabin easily. And added bonus was the bin of toddler toys as we had a 1 year old visitor that we needed to keep busy. Although the cabin came with child gates, they seemed a bit short to block off the stairs.
Overall it was a great stay. I’d be happy to come back and rent this place again.

Loved our “sister” getaway in this lovely, well appointed cozy cabin! It is nestled in the mountains of Big Bear, but still very close to town and ski slopes. The cabin is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood and is very clean with a very inviting warm feeling.
The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make meals. Bathrooms are also well stocked and the beds are comfortable! There are ceiling fans in each bedroom which is a plus during the summer months! There are two patio decks looking out to the trees with the lower one having plenty of comfortable outdoor seating and a BBQ.
There are comfortable leather couches in the living room surrounded by mountainy cabin decor. You can enjoy movies or board games near the fire place and having a washer and dryer is a plus when I bring my grandchildren next time! They will love the buck beds for sure!
Communication with the owner Lauren, was excellent! She was very easy to contact and was very quick to respond to any of our questions.
We would defiantly recommend this property and will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin with us:)

The cabin was very nice, very clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Our only issue was finding the cabin in the dark when we arrived. The addresses of many of the cabins is hard to find and the gps had us going along Conifer but the cabin is literally on the corner and the address light box wasn’t illuminated but the cabin is awesome.

No or very little response to phone calls or texts.
The only response came on the morning of third day
when the thermostat would not respond to heat the unit.
Their cleaner needs a wake up call. Food and debris in kitchen
drawers, lint trap in washer dryer totally clogged, silverware
dirty and all floors also need a good cleaning.
