Old Mill Magic is the perfect place to relax; nestled between the Old Mill and downtown Bend. An upstairs balcony allows for views of the Cascades and Bend's city lights. Central A/C will keep you cool in the summer. An enclosed courtyard patio in the back yard, provides the perfect area for entertainment with a private hot tub and gas BBQ. Easy two block walk to the Old Mill District, close to Crux, The Box Factory and a stone's throw to downtown Bend. This clean, updated, tastefully decorated town home boasts two bedrooms + loft, two and half bathrooms and includes a two car garage with alley access. With a prime location, this home has easy access to Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort - it's just a short drive down the road. Cruise to the Old Mill District Shopping Center easily from this well located and popular vacation rental located in the heart of Bend, Oregon. Open and social floor plan with plenty of light throughout with contemporary decor. We allow pets at pet friendly homes only with prior approval and a $15/night/pet, pet fee. Pets are not permitted on the bedding or furniture and must never be left at the home alone unless they are crated/kenneled. Please note, if you choose to book with this home, you will be receiving a separate rental agreement that will need to be electronically signed before your stay

The place was nice but 500 feet away was a whole camp of homeless people’s tents . Not sure why the police wouldn’t do something about it with Bend being such a nice area. Be aware that the restaurants don’t allow dogs inside so be prepared to eat out in the cold if the outside seating is open. Bend is not very dog friendly.

Although the property itself was OK, the stay was ruined by on-going repairs we were not made aware were going to be happening. When we arrived the garage door was blocked by a construction trailer, and we were unable to park nor unload our vehicles in the garage which was a primary reason we booked the property. We came to Bend with very valuable equipment we did not want to be seen by neighbors or workers while we loaded and unloaded during our stay. However, this was impossible since the door to the garage was blocked multiple times by construction equipment and there were workers on the roof looking down into the property all during the day. In addition, the courtyard and hot tub were unusable due to roofing debris dropped by workers into the courtyard. Upon arrival I called the property management regarding the blocked garage. During the call I was disconnected and no follow up was made. Overall, we were very disappointed by our stay and will not recommend the property to others.

Nice clean house. Worked perfectly for our family. Bend is a cool town with lots to do. It took us 9 minutes to walk to Game Stop which is next door to the theater.
There were a few things in the agreement that would have been nice to know ahead of time. Such as No Smoking House also meant the entire property. It also says that it is "illegal for children under 12 to use the hot tub" so if you have small children, be aware.
A little head's up that this was Roofing Week also would have been appreciated. Men walking on the roof while we tried to enjoy the hot tub on our first morning there wasn't exactly relaxing.
Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, TV was nice and the couches were comfortable.

We stayed here with two teenagers and two dogs. The third bed is tucked into a nook upstairs, so there is a bit of privacy and worked out much better than a sofa sleeper in the main living space. We were able to easily bike to the path and get anywhere we needed to go. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The kitchen is clean well stocked. I will say that while the AC worked great to cool the main floor, it gets a bit warm upstairs where the bedrooms are. It cooled off enough at night that we opened windows and we were able to sleep great. This property worked out well for us!

Great house, nice neighborhood, and easy parking,perfect for our needs! Location was within walking distance to Old Mill. House was clean, kitchen had everything we needed. The cable was not working, the property manager was responsive and got someone out to check it ASAP. We enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again.

We were happy with the accommodations, the size was right and location was great. A couple of suggestions for improvement would include cleaning the carpet, fixing the latch on the king bedroom door, and the toilet (it runs a long time after flushing) in the queen bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay although we felt the A/C wasn’t strong enough to keep the master bedroom cool. Kitchen was well supplied.

The house was in a great neighborhood in a great location. Lots of activities and great food in walking distance or short drive.
The house was clean. The only small complaint we have is that the spa was not in full working order. Some of the jets were out and you could not turn up the heat! Other than that, great place to stay.

If you are looking for a house with a hot tub, this is not the place, unfortunately. Hot tub was extremely filthy, and doesn’t get past 94°. We could not soak and relax, which is the main reason we booked this place.

Overall a nice & comfortable place. Great neighborhood, love the big garage for gear and the back patio very quiet. Kitchen is well stocked.
The only reason I didn’t give five stars for overall, cable box did not work, needs to be updated & need more towels in bathroom for longer stays.

Renting was straight forward. I came to Bend for a 5 day conference. Even though I stayed alone in a vrbo with 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, 2-1/2 baths, laundry, kitchen, and hot tub… it was less money than staying at the hotel with it’s special rates.

We had a great stay at this property. First, the location is very convenient and in a quiet neighborhood. We walked to the Old Mill Shopping and dining area in about 5-7 minutes via a walking path through the neighborhood, and it was a short 5-7 minute drive into downtown Bend. It was also a 35 minute drive to Mt. Bachelor for skiing.. The hot tub was wonderful after a day on the slopes. We had our adult son staying with us so the room set up of this property was perfect. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and there is a 3rd bathroom downstairs. We did not use the extra single bed in the upstairs oft area, but it would be perfect for a kid or a plus one on a ski trip who didn't their own private space. That bed seemed much more comfortable than a sofa couch and a good use of extra space.. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and the property was very clean. We would stay here again.

The unit was spacious, clean and a walkable distance to the Old Mill District. Having access to a garage during the winter was an added bonus. We needed assistance the first day and our host was quick to reply and take care of a small issue of new batteries for the thermostat.

Loved this place and we'll be back! Kitchen was well appointed with all the dishes and some spices and staples (even coffee pods!) We brought our dog and it was perfect for him - fenced yard and a perfect place for his crate downstairs. Hot tub was awesome! Thank you!
