Great stay

Easy location to get to, short walk to train into london clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff who were helpful. Room service was very quick.

Not enough ordinary tea bags in the room. Only 2. Shower was a bit poor. Not very powerful at all. Our bed was comfortable but quite rickety. Room No: 245 Overnight parking charge a bit excessive, but not a deal breaker. ‘In case of Fire’ instructions on the back of the room door are for the room next door, Rm 246.

Fantastic stay.

Breakfast was the best I've had for a very long time. Never known a hotel to serve fried bread, so thank you for that. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were outstanding. Cookies given to us on sign in were nice, and a snack bar with free crisps and fruit in reception area was a lovely touch.

A bit secluded and dark area. View from room a bit bleak, but then who goes away to store out of the window anyway. The amount of cleaning trollies on our floor in the morning was ridiculous

Good location but the service could be better.

The room was comfortable and clean.

No drinking water provided after the first day of stay!! I had to collect it from the reception which I thought was rather odd.

Great but not perfect

The room was very clean and spacious

The TV did not work properly, would constantly disconnect from the aerial, very frustrating Tried to connect TV to wifi but no luck with that either

Friendly staff and good food

Breakfast and dinner were of good quality and choice.

The double bed was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on! It needs replacing.

Nice , but no late night bar anymore ..

Staff very nice

The Late Night Bar is not late night anymore ( closed 11.30 all nights ) . Previously was open till 1 Am which suited after going to concert at O2 .. Will check next time .. if not late night , I will find another hotel with late night bar

Very comfortable, would stay again!

We had our room very kindly upgraded due to waiting for the staff to complete their fire drill. The room was very comfortable and the drinks and food at the bar were reasonably priced.

Value for money stay.

Entrance was nice and modern. Very clean facilities downstairs. Great breakfast and beautiful restaurant. Loved the complimentary goodies on arrival too.

Room air conditioning/ heating was incredibly noisy. Found it difficult to sleep with it on. Manager was called however, Other than changing the settings, no other steps were taken to help resolve the problem. Bathroom is quite dated also considering the rest of the hotel looks great.

Would happily stay here again

The location is perfect for a quiet stay but being so slow to the city.

I didn’t like our room, we had to walk through the restaurant to get to the lift.

My honeymoon weekend break before big Honeymoon

Liked the view, the Manager on the shift she was lovely no trouble checking in if early check in. Went for food 1st night the steak was lovely, 2nd day had fish and chips that was nice also.

Small rice with the chicken curry and asked for more was Small bowl size of ya hands. Check out was 12noon, the housekeeper came round 11am wasn't ready to leave by then felt rushed out.

Lovely decorated hotel with good facilities

Lovely and clean, nice little touches of cookie on arrival and free snacks.

Had lunch at the bar and some drinks and put the bill onto our room. We went out for the evening and on arrival back had another drink at the bar before going to bed. ( Which by the way drinks are not cheap!) Then 3 times during the night they had tried to take the money directly from my bank account with my bank declining the payment due to them using my Apple Pay details. Once up and getting ready for breakfast by 8.30 they had put a letter under our door stating we needed to go and pay this bill at our earliest convenience. whole thing made me feel like they thought we were going to run off without paying. Hadn’t even had breakfast and checked out

Comfortable, very hospitable, food good and welcome greeting great - especially the warm cookie.

Fantastic welcome and really appreciated the cookie on arrival after the travelling to get there. Loved the room as it was comfortable and clean, Location was excellent as close to the London Excel where I needed to be.

I was happy with everything whilst I stayed at the hotel. Couldn't complain about anything really although I was only there for the one night stay.

Disappointing

The staff were friendly.

The whole corridor stank of cannabis which was also in the lift and drifted into the rooms. Air conditioning didn’t work. Couldn’t order room service or food downstairs 30 mins before it finished. £50 taken off is when checked in and we now have to wait 7 days for its return. Had to walk a very long way round due to building works.

We like the environment of the building and the sight seeing of the water. The staff are friendly and helpful for the stay.

We didn’t like the room because there is space for fridge but none. It’s not everyone that like to sleep in darkness or to leave the massive light on for the night. The bed does not look double at all. We have to request for bottle was every time. The air conditioner make too much noise and sleeping under that was uncomfortable

room suited needs - location for the excel was fantastic and staff exceed expectations - very helpful and went above a beyond. Very friendly !
