We loved everything about the property! It had a beautiful view, and the staff were kind and inviting. Not to mention that the food was delicious!
I can’t comment on this as we didn’t have any issues/concerns.

Hotel in a little village. Room with a view on the harbour. The hotel seems big but the atmosphere is quiet and friendly, and first of all the staff

Comfortable room. Price includes breakfast, which is very worth it. Breakfast spread was good :)
Wished there was an electric kettle!

The breakfast could be better. Resupply food that is consumed and don't split ham and cheese slices in half to save money

Good location. Breakfast was nice. Beds were comfy, individually.
Double bed in our room was actually two single beds positioned side by side with a gap. So it was uncomfortable when you stuck in the gap. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom. There was also no water boiler in the room. Lady in the reception was kind to borrow the water boiler though. There were no electric sockets nearby the chairs and sofas in the common room.

The room and the bathroom were very clean. There was one bathroom for two rooms (witch is the best for a shared bathroom)
The beds were very comfy.
The staff offered us a soup as we arrived late and the kitchen was closed
A good breakfeast

the location was perfect for my trip
the room space is small.

Rooms with private bathrooms were available for a reasonable price.
The restaurant was “sold out” when we arrived at 19:30, only alternative in the town was a fuel station that closes at 20:00. The place is very rundown.

opted for a dinner at the restaurant. It was a self service with 2 options, one of the 2 was finished with no other options available.

The soup buffet for dinner and breakfast were both good. Location is in a tiny town in Westfjords, beautiful views of the mountains and water.

we didn’t know reception closes at 10.30pm (it was July 2022) and arrived past 11pm. Worried to have to spend the night in the car we rang the bell. in 5 minutes the manager arrived and EXTRELY and though the time extremely politely welcomed us anyway.
Also, though we booked 2 rooms with shared bath she managed to assign us two nice rooms with bathroom.
said that, each shared bathrooms is shared by only 2/max 3 rooms so in. SSR private bathrooms are not available is still worthwhile to stay
Pingeyri is a small beautiful place and the view from our windows was fantastic.
NOT A COMPLAINT but just FYI
the structure has no lift so if you have problems walking up the stairs or have heavy luggage you may want to ask fir a room at one of the lower floors. We travelled light so being on the 3rd floor was no prob and had the benefit of nice views
breakfast is not a luxurious one but is more than adequate. And politeness of the staff and helpful suggestions the manager provided more than made up for it
