It's difficult to describe how amazing this place is. Such a well run peaceful get-away with a luxurious feel to a wildlife retreat. Our stay was faultless. To every detail. Thanks Sean, Jenny. And the rest of the family. We will certainly be booking again.

Luxury log cabins with en-suite bathrooms. Set in the most stunning location. Scott is wonderful, very accommodating and friendly. The cleanliness is absolutely 10/10, super, super clean. BBQ hut is great for eating and socialising. We will be back!
Nothing. It’s perfect.

I was informed for my parents I booked this for that it was beautiful and absolutely perfect
They were not so keen on the waiting and booking of the fire pit but not the end of the world :)

Had a 2 night weekend stay with a friend. Booked as a short break from my fast-paced life/job. It exceeded expectations and delivered the peacefulness and serenity that was very much needed! The attention to detail in the cabin (Owl Lodge) made it quirky and cosy in equal measures. It was spotlessly clean too.
The bbq/food hut is a really nice touch (it’s £10 to use). The hosts were super friendly and have clearly thought of everything to make it an effortless and beautiful break for people.
The location is idyllic, and the surrounding areas have everything for a perfect countryside getaway. The morning views are beautiful. Aysgarth Falls and Castle Bolton are nice places to visit, as is Ripon and the Harrogate area.
I will definitely be back :-)
The only niggle would be extra blankets for chilly season, as it can be a little cold when you’re not near the heater.

Peace and tranquillity. The cabin survived storm Otto, and we felt very safe inside, cosy and busy doing nothing! 😀
Had all the facilities we needed, even a coffee machine and a fridge! Lots of board games, books, tv, nice hot shower... it was the best way possible for us to recharge the batteries.
No negatives, everything was great!

beautiful secluded location, lodge was kitted out with everything wee needed and was beautifully decorated. BBQ & Grill hut was a perfect addition to our stay. (photos attached are on the day we left)
the only thing that would have made better would have been a washing up facility! a bowl, sponge, liquid ect are provided with the hut but having to boil the kettle to fill it up after every meal was a bit tedious! other than that cannot fault the property at all

We loved every minute of our stay at high parks. When we turned up Scott greeted us and lead us to the Pheasant Lodge. It felt very homely as soon as we walked in. The firepit was a great touch and only £6 for a bag of logs. We would highly recommend staying at High Parks.

Love the atmosphere and the whole setup. The BBQ hut was awesome but we underestimated it. For the £10 a night, we wish we had taken more food to cook on it. Staff our friendly, relaxed and flexible.
Only momentary downside, there was one piece missing from the owl puzzle!

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in the Pheasant Lodge. It had a real wow factor when you walked in, you could smell the pine of the lodge. Super clean. Scott was so friendly and welcoming. Also welcomed by hens which I loved seeing every morning. We hired the bbq hut for a night which was great (small fee but well worth it). Lodge had a small fridge with milk on arrival, crockery & cutlery. Tea and coffee in abundance. Coffee machine and kettle. Microwave, hob & toaster all available a short distance away in bbq hut which is slways open unless under private hire in evening. Bathroom was perfect size with lovely warm shower, nice towels, toiletries and a hairdryer. Bed super comfy and warm duvet. Own gas bbq just outside which we used for bacon sarnies. Picnic bench & fire pit (logs available for small fee in honesty box). Washing up to be done in bowl in lodge, we didn't find this a problem as we had 2 takeaway dinners from local fish & chips shop and pub, so only small amount of dishes. Just superb. Would definitely recommend and definitely return.
Couldn't fault it for our stay.

Because we stayed for 7 nights it would have been good to have a change of towels and tea towels. But that’s all!!
