The location is good. The breakfast is not enough for the guests.
The rooms have no air conditioner. It was overpriced and old.
7.0
Good facilities and great location for the beach. Gym was added bonus.
Ceiling fan was no match for Airton in the summer heat.
8.0
Brilliant location close to beach and main transport lines
Would be nice to have more basics in self catering room, sugar, tea, coffee etc.

Close to the beach, only a 3-minute walk. 24/7 reception, option to cook in the room, AC works properly.
Breakfast options are very poor, but at least they are trying. Wifi was not working.

Very kind staff, however they were not able to solve my main issue with lack of cleanliness.
Dirty room, mould on air conditioner what they removed after first night. I removed mouldy and dirty shower curtain. I asked 2 days continuously to clean up the fridge freezer where the previous occupier left their ice cream and water stuck in the ice, but it never ever happened. Bathroom need more acidic treatment. Dirt issues, not just outdated environment. I never saw rusty hairdryer before this trip, now I know how does it look like.

Staff was okay, aircon was working.
There is no breakfast even if it says breakfast included. They give you a basket filled with some soup and cereals. Ignore the reviews where people say you need to walk a short distance to a cafeteria for breakfast, there is no such thing.
No hot water, furniture is old and looks different from advertised pictures. Bathrooms are outdated. Very loud until late, this is definitely not a hotel.

Staff ................ and that's about it. The men that checked us in was very helpful and polite, same as the younger girls which were there during the day. Parking is 40EUR a day but it's secure. We were lucky or unlucky to be there during a fiesta and the noise from fireworks kept us awake till 4am. Good location, close to the beach, short walking distance to the tube.
Please take new pictures to reflect the reality. This is NOT a hotel. This is a students campus which is acceptable for students but not for someone who's paying a considerable amount of money.
We've been to Barcelona nine times and this is by far the worst place to stay in term of "value for money. Yes, you can sleep and shower, but the rooms are outdated, the bathrooms are clean ish but very old. We have had two rooms and only one of them was having hot water. We've stayed to better hotels in Barcelona for the same amount of money during July and August. Except the staff which was helpful, I don't really have anything else positive about this place...................lift was working, which is helpful. Beds are singles but not next to each other. Aircon was also working.

great location and very safe and balcony
dirty floor , very, big stain on one of the bed sheets, very thin walls

The location and cleanliness was excellent,
the breakfast was modest and although I wrote that I was gluten free, this was not taken into account.
And we asked for an invoice to bill as it was a business trip. We don't have it yet, despite the promise that they would send it to us. They also have our email addresses.

too expensive for what you get
very old building
phonetic isolation is so bad. you hear everything from what happens in the room next to yours.
breakfast is an industrial breakfast on a tray in your room.
I really do not recommend that hotel.

• Loved the location - so close to the beach! Also close to bakeries, cafes, supermarket and the metro.
• Helpfulness of staff - some are English speaking which is helpful if you're not fluent in Spanish, and others are happy to use a translating system (like google translate) to help with communication.
• Super easy check in and check out.
• Facilities - laundry room downstairs, gym, TV room, larger kitchen, games tables, room itself has a kitchenette, free wifi throughout the building (was down for a day or two but worked well otherwise).
• Though its a uni campus, staff came and cleaned the room each day similar to a hotel, made the bed, changed towels and topped up our breakfast items which was great! Cereal, croissants, toast biscuits, chocolate milk, milk, jam, butter, orange juice and bottled water were provided daily!
• Super thin walls, so it can be noisy depending on who's staying in the surrounding rooms
• Laundry machines weren't so easy to figure out if you've never used those before (but staff were helpful with this)
• Kitchen utensils could have been cleaner, had to scrub and wash things before first using them.
• Grey cushions on the bed had stains on them - just didn't use them as there were others but it wasn't nice to see.
• The sliding window door didn't close fully (If you closed one end it would pop open at the other side) which would have made our room feel colder, less safe and compromised had we been on the ground floor. Luckily we were higher up and stayed during a warmer week so it wasn't the biggest issue but it was still a concern.

All went well. Very kind and friendly people at the reception. Good location near Barceloneta. Safe neighbourhood with small shops (Dia), bakeries and markets nearby with cheap espresso.

Close to sea, ideal for morning walk or jogging on seaside promenade. We did this every morning. Hotel is hostel-like building but clean and rooms seem to be renovated recently. Hotel has self-service laundary room - very useful with family. Neighborhood is quiet, but small restaurants and shops are close to walk (around Barceloneta metro station). Even big shopping center Maremagnum center is not to far to walk.
It' s student home, probably can be noisy sometimes. We were traveling during Christmas holiday and it was very quiet. Happy about that!

We were very pleased with our studio, it looked really nice and was comfortable. For all the people saying this isn't a hotel, well the rooms are no different to hotel rooms. It's located on a university campus, and was very quiet at night and during the day. The cleaners are doing a brilliant job, our room was spotless on arrival. The reception staff were friendly. Breakfast was in the fridge and the kitchenette was handy for making small meals. The location was excellent, a short walk to the beach, metro station and old town. We would love to stay again.
The only thing we would've liked to have was a kettle, but we knew in advance that there weren't any so took our own travel kettle.

It was very well located . Staff was friendly mostly the guy who was at the reception desk at night. Very close to the metro just 5-6 min walking, and very close to the night club’s too .
The bathroom door didn’t have a key.

Great location near to the beach with plenty of places to eat and lots of supermarkets all within a ten minute walk.many of the attractions are within walking distance or public transport within 10 minutes

Perfect location (to walk to town/beach), air-con worked great, little kitchenette worked fine. Room and bathroom were clean and housekeeping came daily. We stayed for 2 weeks and were very comfortable. Staff spoke perfect English which was much appreciated and make check in/out very smooth. Would recommend!
