Pictures don’t do this property justice. We were all blown away by the attention to detail when they took this down to the studs and brought it back to it’s original glory. The location is perfect for us, as you can walk to town and it’s a quick drive to the park. Mark, the owner, was great with communication. They were doing construction when we went, but it wasn’t a big deal at all and Mark made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely be booking this property again!

We came to estes park for our aunts wedding as well as our first sibling trip and we had a great time. The cottage was located in the perfect spot and was close to all the stores and resturants. We cant wait to come back and stay again.

We stayed here with our two teenagers. The home is beautiful! I loved the restored woodwork and the new modern bathrooms with antique touches. Loved using the fireplace. House has everything you need. Hosts were kind and easy to communicate with. We could walk to the main street for food and shopping easily and avoid paying for parking. Only a 5 min drive to RMNP entrance. We rented e-bikes (Backbone Adventures), took a jeep tour (Wildside), and hiked 2 days in RMNP. Although we had timed entry passes we got up early and entered into park before they were needed. Saw Elk, Deer, Moose, Long Horned Sheep, Turkey, and Marmot. Drove to Alpine Visitor Center. Hiked Bear Lake and Nymph and Dream Lake. Hiked Chasm Falls. Wish we had bought proper hiking shoes and the trails were wet and snowy. Sneakers were not ideal. Smokin Dave's BBQ was great!

Winning combination of proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park, downtown location, historic renovation with modern function, gorgeous woodwork, tastefully furnished and 5-star warm hospitality.

This was our 2nd trip here and it's a gorgeous, spacious house with nice common areas. Our main complaint was the loud construction happening right outside the house. They started early and big machinery and lots of workers constantly up and down the street. I would recommend once the road/construction work is completed.

Beautiful home, comfortable and very well appointed. Every detail is covered. Excellent location for walking to shopping and dining in Estes Park and quick access to RMNP. Would highly recommend. Well worth it!

The house was walking distance to numerous activities and was a lovely and intimate setting. Will definitely book again in the future.

Super close to downtown, we walked in, and a quick drive to RMNP. Just two of us stayed here, but if all rooms had been occupied we would have been just as comfortable!

Great property. Clean, well stocked. Easy walking to town and food. Easy access to National Park Manger communicated a lot and checked in to make sure we were ok Only suggestion is for hideabeds in basement to allow guests to spread out. Would stay again! Wonderful time and place

This is a very comfortable, spacious house in a great location both for getting to RMNP and for a short walk to Estes Park restaurants.

This cottage is gorgeous, graciously appointed, leaded glass in generous windows, a lovely porch to gaze at the forested mountain, fantastic amenities in a cook friendly kitchen, comfortable beds, clean spacious bathrooms (the soaking tub was so soothing after a busy wedding weekend in walkable Fall River!) This cottage made our trip superlative.

We rented this place to explore Estes Park and run a half marathon. The property was clean and comfortable. I cannot believe how well stocked the kitchen was with appliances and pantry items.

Riverside Cottage was the perfect home away from home for our family vacation. It was a beautiful, well stocked home, in the BEST location. Just a few minutes walk down the river to town for amazing coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. RMNP entrance was just a few miles drive and very easy to access. The home is beautiful, cozy, and we all were very comfortable during our stay. Lovely!

The property is very nice, spacious, with lots of windows and within walking distance of all the town attractions and shopping. It is also cozy with comfortable seating family area and has a charm of mountain retreat. If one is into fishing, Thompson River runs along the walkway that is across the street from the house. It was can enjoyable holiday experience and we will certainly like to return in the future. Thanks to Durango for very detailed and prompted responses before the trip, and Toon for checking out if everything was fine and giving us instructions upon arrival.

My family of five adults stayed in this property for five nights in July, 2022. It’s a perfect location - on the river walk and a very short distance to shops and restaurants. The home has a great kitchen that is fully stocked with dishes, spices, pots and pans. While the home is not air conditioned, there are several fans which my group utilized and the basement living area was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Although it is just a block or 2 from downtown Estes Park, the house was surprisingly quite. Loved the stream across the street and a very easy walk into town for dinner.

This beautifully renovated house has all the charm of a cottage with all the modern amenities. It is a quiet street across from a Riverwalk and river that flows through town. It is just a few minutes walk to downtown where there is an abundant of unique restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the Aerial Tram, Stanley Hotel, Estes Park Museum, a private tour of RNMP, Fun City, the Parks, Elk and wildlife of Estes Park. I would highly recommend this location. We did learn of something else while there and support - NO LOOP!!

This house was absolutely perfect for our group of six. The house itself is beautiful and cozy with more than enough space for us all to gather and relax. Almost everywhere in town is easily walkable from the house, and we never had to scour the town for parking since we were already right near everything. The house came equipped with a full kitchen which we were able to utilize for home-cooked meals. I absolutely recommend this property for anyone who wants to visit Estes. It was perfect!
