I will use this location again when I revisit Vienna

Fantastic location - close to restaurants, shops, St Stephen's Cathedral and main square. Not far from the tourist info office, Hofburg Palace is only an 8 minute walk away and the larger palace a short uber journey away. Also close to the metros. Out of other people in Vienna I met, I don't think you can get any closer, especially for such value for money considering the location. Check in after midday was easy, I was a little nervous but I got the Whatsapp instructions the day before and any question I had late in the evening or before my flight in the morning was answered within seconds - no exaggeration. I was able to get the key out of the key box and the instructional videos were exactly what I needed, the visuals helped. I didn't actually see the staff during my stay as I was doing day trips out that departed at 730 each day - so thank you for being so responsive, we live in a remote working world and perhaps will be the future one day! I felt like if I had any challenges they would have been there or come out to help no problem. Pillows were comfortable and nice big roomy bathroom. Safe in room to keep your things in, and wardrobes. Good hairdryer in bathroom, no need to bring your own. Kettle, cups and tea in room. Nice table at the end of the bed so suitable for working if you aren't on holiday. Feels very secure with the key safes, closed doors and key fob access to the hotel and feels more homely & personal than like a hotel, which as a female traveller travelling solo was a really nice feel. Rooms are very true to photos.

Towels could do with a refresh, going a little hard. The key safe to retrieve the key is a little high if you're 5ft2 or under, I had to stand on my toes :-)

Alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt. Wiederholenswert.

Sehr gute Lage im Zentrum, um die Ecke der Stephansdom. Wir waren mit der Bahn vom Bundesland Sachsen in Deutschland angereist. Am Bahnhof haben wir uns gleich das 72-Stunden-Ticket für 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder zum Preis von 85 € gekauft, was bis zum 2.1. gültig war und mit dem man U-Bahn, Straßenbahn und Bus den ganzen Tag fahren kann. Das ist auch eine Variante, wenn man mit dem Auto anreist: Gepäck abladen, mit dem Auto irgendwo außerhalb Wiens parken und dann mit dem Ticket zurückfahren. Ein Parkticket kostet sonst bis 30 € pro Tag. So waren im Jahr 2019 schon 120 Euro weg. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und vielfältig. Es gab Semmeln, verschiedene Brotaufstriche, Käse, Wurst, Müsli und gekochte Eier. Wen das Frühstück im Zimmer nicht stört, kann hier bedenkenlos buchen. Es fühlt sich aber irgendwie anders an. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet. Das eher schlechte Zwei-Mann-Bett in der Stube lässt sich zur Couch umklappen, so dass wir den Silvesterabend alle zusammen beim Würfelspiel und Fernsehen verbringen konnten.

Die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Bei der Ankunft habe ich erstmal die Schübe in der Küche ausgewischt, welche voller Krümel waren. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es unter dem Bett riesige Wollmäuse. Eigentlich gibt es auch Reinigungswerkzeuge, mit denen man dort untendrunter kommt! Im Bad fand sich in beiden Apartments kein Badewannenstöpsel, obwohl die Zimmer mit Badewanne angepriesen werden. Das Bett in der Stube im Deluxe Apartment ist nicht sehr komfortabel und hat schon ein paar Jahre hinter sich - Streben sind am Rand gebrochen, es gibt dadurch scharfe Kanten. Das Apartment hat nur Innenhof-Blick. Es kommt sehr oft ein Küchengeruch ins Zimmer, weshalb die Fenster verschlossen blieben. Andererseits gaben im anderen Apartment mit Stadtblick die Pferdefuhrwerke eine nicht überhörbare, aber auszuhaltende Geräuschkulisse von sich.

acceptable for the rate when its so centrally located

Location, the entrance and lift to the rooms, many eateries and shops nearby. I assume the husband and wife are the owners as they are especially courteous. Like the offering of sparkling 3 times a week

Breakfast can be improved by giving different types of cold cuts, cheeses, bread rolls or pastries. Everyday its the same especially when you stay for 5 nights. The part timers who are young girls are not courteous are not pro active and has an unfriendly tone which does not appeal to guests. The coffee machine can be on whole day as in the room there were n o coffee offered only tea bags were given.

Location is central and very near StephanPlatz. Breakfast is basic but with the things you need. They don't have dining room, thats why you need have your breakfast in your room. The elevator is quite amazing and Wifi was wroking okay. If you want a place in the city centre and use your room just to sleep then this could be an option.

The TV didn't work and the courtyard view was of a building on all sides. Nothing could be flushed down the toilet due to old historical pipes. You must place toilet paper in the waste basket. Signs warn you of a 200EU fine if toilet is clogged!

Nice place in the city centre

the place is directly in the city centre, tube station 5 min, many restaurants, grocery, cafes. We stayed in an apartment, liked the lift, situated in an old building, spacious living room, big kitchen, could be with more equipment. We stayed only for one night so did not used the kitchen. Bathroom is build in a part of the living room, a little smelly. You can not throw toilet paper in the toilet - bigest problem for my children - but we managed. You have to pay 200 eur for the cloged toilet. It would be great to have this information before the reservation. Breakfast - OK, helpful lady at the reception, maybe more vegetables, but for one night stay was OK. You take your plate in to your room with breakfast and eat it there - we liked it very much. TV - few channels all in German language, but we did not come to watch telly. WIFI - good. Bed - I had a godd night sleep, my husband didnt, so it depends. Rooms were clean, a little bit cold. After the reservation they sent us full information in whatsapp how to check in.

great location in the heart of Vienna even though the reception is not staffed at all times, there is no problem arriving late or leaving luggage for the day

very basic breakfast and no common space to eat it, there are table like countertops at the feet of the beds in the rooms to eat toilet facilities not great, bathtub missing a plug in order not to use too much water, shower pressure reduced also to save water, very difficult to regulate water temperature - wither too hot or too cold (no thermostatic faucet), some missing liquids (shower gel, shampoo) ancient plumbing - I would rather expect a waste basket for toilet paper next to a toilet in South America rather than in a heart of Europe

Cozy place beautiful location

The room was very warm, we always had hot water. It is situated in a central location and you have all the facilities you need near you.

It’s a good place to stay for a couple nights.

The property is located right in the center of Vienna. Metro station is just 3 minutes away. A lot of things are in walking distance. It is an old building with a special Charme. The elevator comes with a bench. Staff was very helpful. I ordered a packet to the hotel and they were communicating with me all the time to make sure I get it.

amazing location and comfy

free breakfast in the room! reception was helpful to call us a cab to the airport. it is located near attractions. the room was clean and tidy and spacious.

Good location, room just ok

The location was great right next to a metro station and an easy walk around the city center. It was a little expensive for what you get, but for Vienna it was a decent value.

The room was a little small, the bed was too soft, the eating area was small and awkward at the end of the bed, the tv was small and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Their towels were old and had hair on them.

Superb

Location is perfect. Straight center, everything is in 30 min walking distance. I must say visiting haus des meeres (20 min walk through christmas fares) was absolutely stunning.

Kitchen could have more dishes and stuff.

Perfect location, right in the center on the shopping street. Xmas market nearby. Metro only few hundreds meters away. Quite at night. Comfort bed and blanket. Fresh bakery in the morning

The water temperature a bit unstable and shower space not so well arranged, maybe because it is an historical building.

Exceptional

We really enjoyed staying here!!! Great staff that was always ready to answer all our questions and provide any help needed. The exceptional location right in the center near the metro station saved us a lot of time. The apartment that is located in the nice building - it is spacious, comfortable in quiet (!) from one hand and gives you that amazing feeling of old Vienna from the other hand. And breakfast served every morning - that's exactly what you need to start you new day in Vienna!
