simple hostel with nice people working there Good for 1-2 nights sleep

The room had such a cute balcony (this is the reason why I chose this Hostal). The room was spacious enough for a weekend trip, it's very well located (walking distance from many tourist places) and everything was super clean. Staff were also nice and explained everything properly. I would definitely recommend it!

The place was amazing in terms of location and comfort,but more importantly the people’s hospitality, friendliness and cooperation.

José, from the staff received us very well and was welcoming and gave us very good advice and recommendations about the area. We also loved the location, very central and close to everything.

Although the space was clean, there was a lack of attention to detail such as dust inside the closet and behind the bathroom doors.

We enjoyed everything about this place. The rooms were bright and pleasant and the staff were incredibly helpful and always smiling. We would very much like to return and stay here again in the future.

We liked everything, but if we are to make a recommendation then we would say that there should be a little more light in the stairs. It is a very nice entrance hall and there should be more light in the stairs.

The location is great as it's fairly quiet area but also not far from the busier areas which is around a 5-7min walk. It's also accessible to the popular area the Las Ramblers which is less than a 20 min walk away, or 18mins by bus. The staff were welcoming esp after calling me and waited outside before i arrived as its not an easy place to find as the sign is on the side of the doorway and Google maps takes you to an insurance place called AXA which is next door.

I'd have scored this more if I was able to sleep well. Unfortunately there was a loud noise coming from the bathroom pipes/boiler in the room above which went on intermittently for over an hour while I was trying to sleep. I did complain about this but it was difficult due to some language barriers etc..., I was told it's coming from the neighbouring building so it was out of their control, but they assured me it would stop. It did for about 10 mins before it came back again. The noise definitely came from the room above and not outside so wasn't happy as I had to be up fairly early the next day too. The room is much smaller than I anticipated but it was clean and comfortable

It has a small shared kitchen with microwave and refrigerator where you can cook a fast meal.

The internet just don’t work in the distant rooms. I was in room 8.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room and bathroom, nice atmosphere, comfortable bed.

Loud corridors, could hear everything in the halls and through walls. the property was not very tidy, room cleaning happened on occasion although it should have been daily. staff did not speak English which made it extremely difficult to communicate, if not impossible. On our last evening we asked for a clean sheet and towel that I wished to pick up at the front desk. A male staff sometime later entered the room unannounced while my girlfriend and small daughter were in the shower. He didn’t respond to them. It was quite unsettling and somewhat terrifying for them.

Great Location and nice to have a Balcony, Room was kind of clean ( could’ve been cleaned better) Staff we’re good.

One big big downside what I didn’t expect is that my room was 1M away from the reception and in the morning i would wale up to loud talking, that was very annoying
